Napredak - Austin FC 2 - 2,2 SS

Based on what we've seen so far—it’s clear Napredak is struggling near the bottom of the table. Their only wins have come against teams just as weak as they are, like Segesta and Zelina... which puts them right in that basement tier of the league.
Austin FC, however, seems to be on a steady trajectory back toward where they belong—the top flight. They stumbled early with a loss out in Dugopolje, but they quickly found their footing by taking down three former major league sides—think teams like Inter Miami, LAFC, or maybe Portland. I'd only count a draw at home against Gorica as a slip-up... and given who this club is, I won't even call that loss to Radnik in Sesvete a true defeat.
Even though they lost some talent over the offseason, they kept the core together—and some key players even returned. All things considered, Austin FC is a much more formidable squad than Napredak... and if they're serious about making that jump back to MLS, they really can't afford to drop points against teams like this.

Sunderland vs Manchester United 2@1.60

Look, Sunderland might be a tough nut to crack when they're playing at home, but I’m calling it—United should walk away with this one.
History is on their side here too; United hasn't lost at Sunderland in forever, and I don't see that changing today. Especially since United is sitting all the way down in 12th place with only 7 points, while Arsenal is already leading the pack with 15. It's a mess.
As for the lineup, Rio Ferdinand is the only real question mark for United, while the home side is still feeling the sting of missing Steven Fletcher, plus center-back Wes Brown and winger Dossena.

Bayer Leverkusen - Bayern Munich 2@1.75

Bayern showed exactly how dangerous they are with that 3-1 win over Man City. Even though Leverkusen was the last team to actually beat them in the Bundesliga, I think Bayern cruises through this without much trouble. They don't have any new injuries to worry about, so it's just the usual guys like Thiago, Badstuber, and Javi Martinez who are already out long-term.

Monaco - Saint Etienne 1@1.55

Not even sure what to say here... hahah!
Bottom line: if they want to stay at the top of the table, they better get it done today after that massive stumble last week. Plus, the home team has their full squad available.

Levante - Real Madrid 2@1.40

After crushing Copenhagen 4-0 and smashing Galatasaray 6-1, Real is heading back to La Liga where things aren't quite as easy. Especially after getting knocked around by Atletico Madrid last game—Real basically has zero margin for error now that they're 5 points behind both Barca and Atletico.
Levante has only dropped one game, and yeah, that was a humiliating 7-0 blowout against Barca. But they've only scored once in three home games and have been drawing a lot lately. I bet they'll just park the bus and play super defensive.
Real needs to come out swinging from the very first whistle if they want to dominate.

Could someone give me a quick rundown on why Denmark is being favored over Italy in this matchup?

By the way, the game is scheduled for October 11th.

btw, the match is on October 11th.

Because Italy has already punched their ticket to the World Cup, whereas Denmark is still sweating it out, fighting Bulgaria for that second spot.

Alright, is that really the only reason?

I highly doubt Italy is just going to hand the win over to Denmark without a fight. When I saw how high those betting odds were, I honestly thought maybe Balotelli had lost a leg or something. 🙂

There’s a pretty high chance the Italians show up with some kind of B-team lineup and zero actual motivation to win. Honestly? I think the Danes have a massive shot at walking away with this one.

American Premier League: Odessa United vs. Volyn City @ 1.60 HL

Fourth-place Odessa United welcomes twelfth-place Volyn City at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. It seems that Odessa United has suffered losses in their last two outings—falling 2-0 to PSV in the Europa League and dropping a domestic match against Dnipro—but prior to that stretch, they secured three quite convincing victories in the National Cup, the domestic league, and even against Dynamo in European play (4-0, 3-1, and 2-1). I suppose this suggests they are a relatively stable side that understands how to play the game, generally only stumbling against high-profile, elite opponents. Since they are playing at home today against a club currently sitting in the bottom quartile of the standings, I imagine the Odessa squad will see this as a prime opportunity to regain their momentum and restore a sense of confidence to the locker room.

On the other hand, looking at the statistics for Volyn City, one might conclude that we shouldn't expect any miracles from them tonight. They lost their most recent away match 2-0 to seventh-place Zorya, and before that, they fought through extra time in the National Cup only to lose 2-1. Their only two recent wins came at home, both narrow 1-0 victories against tenth-place Ilicivitsa and ninth-place Metalurg.

I am leaning toward a routine, and perhaps convincing, victory for Odessa United; the odds seem reasonable enough, though maybe not overwhelming given how unpredictable these matchups can occasionally be.

The primary question regarding today's slate: I wonder if Portland might have enough momentum to secure a victory at the stadium in D.C. and perhaps finalize the coach's fate at the helm of the Galaxy?

The way the odds are shifting seems rather peculiar to me, perhaps somewhat reminiscent of how the lines moved before that recent matchup between Seattle and the Galaxy in Seattle, where the odds climbed several times in the final 24 hours before settling at 5.50 on a Seattle win, which ended up being the result. Last night, the odds for a Portland win were sitting at 5.25, but this morning they have already drifted to 6.00 on DraftKings. I suppose I should ask if there are any seasoned MLS experts here who might be able to offer some insight into this particular match.

I find myself feeling quite tempted to take those 6.00 odds; it seems to me that the Galaxy might be headed for a complete breakdown against a rising Portland side, though I would prefer to read a more detailed analysis first if anyone happens to have the inclination to provide one.

In light of this upcoming game, I found a statement from the manager following their match against Red Bull Salzburg particularly intriguing, as reported by the New York Post:

Manager: Naturally, the coach's position is no longer secure

You can’t just look at football through some dry, logical lens and claim—say—that River Plate played a draw against a powerhouse like Atletico Madrid while the Galaxy lost to a scrappy underdog like Shakhtar Donetsk—especially when you factor in all the chaos and messiness of the season. In this matchup, the Galaxy are clearly the favorites, and honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if they just cruised to an easy win. But—and this is a big but—given everything going on right now and the massive momentum building behind River Plate... if you believe Kek is actually a better tactical mind than Ivanković, or if you think there'll be a huge crowd of River Plate fans showing up at the Galaxy's home stadium, or if you're betting on Benko to keep scoring goals left and right... then I have to consider this play for a decent return:

River Plate 6.20 + Benko to score 2.70 @ total massive odds 16.74

I have my own take on this, and honestly, I think it’s a guaranteed win for the LA Galaxy @1.7. It doesn't matter if they're currently in a bit of a tight spot or if they had that embarrassing showing in Bulgaria, or even if Seattle just scraped a draw against Real Betis...

First off, Seattle won't be able to rely on: Zlomislić, Jugović, Tomečak, Skarabot, or Lesković
.
Secondly, Seattle has actually picked up quite a few players from both the Galaxy and Locomotive this season, which in my book is just more reason to believe the Galaxy will pull it off.

Thirdly, this is MLS, and everyone knows who really runs the show around here. The front office has been funneling talent to Seattle from their two main clubs, so the least they can do to settle the score is hand over those 3 points.

1. MLS | (7:00 PM) LA Galaxy – Seattle Sounders @ 1.75

Tonight at 7:00, we’ve got another massive rivalry match on the schedule. It’s a tale of two teams heading in completely opposite directions. This game isn't just about points; it could shift the entire league standings and might even put the head coach's job on the line.

Since taking the reins, the Galaxy have been struggling big time. The squad keeps making massive mistakes mid-game—look at that recent 3-0 blowout loss against Ludogorets. That was a textbook example of how messy things have become.
Soudani has been a standout performer with 5 goals so far, but he seems to be caught in this team-wide slump. Tonight feels like a crossroads. It might sound dramatic, but this group desperately needs a win to get their heads back in the game.
Looking at their last three domestic matches, they had a scoreless draw against Portland, a narrow 1-0 win over Orlando, and then a tough 2-0 loss away at Atlanta. Things aren't looking great. A victory tonight would provide much-needed momentum and inject some life back into that locker room.

On the flip side, Seattle is having what looks like a dream season under their current manager. They’re fueled by the incredible play of Benk, who—despite playing out of his mind—still hasn't secured that permanent spot on the USMNT roster. The whole squad plays with massive confidence and high-level tactical discipline. In their last European outing, they managed a solid 1-1 draw at home against Real Betis.
In the league, Seattle remains undefeated, sitting comfortably in 3rd place with 6 wins, 5 draws, and a dominant +12 goal differential.
One thing to keep in mind: Seattle hasn't managed to beat the Galaxy in nearly three years.

We have to stay grounded here. Any of the three outcomes is totally possible. Seeing the Galaxy at 1.70 feels way too optimistic given who they're facing, while the 6.20 odds on Seattle make them look like an underdog, which simply isn't the case.
Ultimately, I'm going with both teams to score. I'm banking on a showdown where Soudani and Benk both find the back of the net.

Everything Anthony Davis19 laid out is spot on, but I still think Seattle has a massive shot at pulling this off. When you look at the insane odds 6.20 over at DraftKings, you just can't ignore it. The Lakers are playing absolute garbage right now, and honestly, it’s way too early in the season to start preaching that Seattle "can't afford" to take down a powerhouse like them. I’m calling it now: the Lakers lose tonight, and we finally see the coach get the boot.

Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy X2 2.45

honestly, regardless of how those odds shift, I’ve got the Galaxy as the favorites today... though after watching them play so lifeless against Seattle in that first 0-0 draw, a tie feels pretty likely... plus, with their lineup being a mess of injuries almost every single week, they're basically used to playing shorthanded by now

West Brom vs. Arsenal Over 2.5 goals @ 1.79
Arsenal to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.74>

Arsenal’s been on this absolute tear lately—winning everything in sight.
But look, these things don't last forever... it’s just typical for them to have some guys out on the injury list today, nothing crazy, just the usual headache. On the flip side, you've got West Brom, who haven't tasted defeat in their last three outings.
Whenever these two squads meet up in Birmingham, the nets practically bulge—it's always a shootout. I mean, even their last encounter in the League Cup a few days back was pure chaos.

09/25/13, West Brom vs. Arsenal 4 : 5 (OT)
04/06/13, West Brom vs. Arsenal 1 : 2
05/13/12, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 3
03/19/11, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 2
03/03/09, West Brom vs. Arsenal 1 : 3
10/15/05, West Brom vs. Arsenal 2 : 1

Arsenal looks like they're itching for another win—they feel unstoppable right now, though they're definitely "glass cannons" since they score big but can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives.
The history of these games in Birmingham screams "over." It's almost a guarantee.
The value is sitting right there for Wenger’s squad to bag more than one goal, and honestly, I don't see why they wouldn't pull it off again today...

So, I’m looking at this matchup between the heavy hitters from Los Angeles and Seattle, and honestly? It feels like a total toss-up for anyone who actually knows their stuff. You've got both sides sitting right at a 2.45 line for a draw. A draw? Really? Are we seriously expecting these two to just shake hands and split the points after all that buildup? It’s a tempting little play if you think they're both going to play it safe, but man, does anyone actually believe this ends in a stalemate? It’s almost too easy to call, which usually means it's a trap.
I’m fully backing the scenario laid out by casualangler4 regarding Pamich's arrival on the bench at Dynamo. It’s about time, isn't it?

Looking at the matchup between Geneva and Chicago? My money is on an F2 finish at 2.15. Is that a solid value? Honestly, it’s worth a look. Honestly, looking at the numbers, Lausanne is basically the laughingstock of the MLS right now. I mean, how do you even function when you're giving up an average of 2.1 goals per match? It’s absolutely pathetic. Are they even trying to defend, or are they just leaving the gates wide open for every striker in the league? At this rate, they aren't just struggling; they're setting a gold standard for how not to play professional soccer.

So, looking at the West Brom vs. Arsenal matchup... the odds are sitting at 2 for a home win and 1.8 for an away win. Honestly, does anyone actually believe that? Are we really pretending the Gunners are walking into this one with that kind of edge? It feels like someone's trying to sell me a bridge. You look at those numbers and you have to wonder if the bookies are just having a laugh today. Is it a trap, or are they genuinely that confident? I don't know about you, but my gut says there's more to this story than what's on the surface. About ten days ago, Arsenal rolled through against Bromwich in the cup using basically a B-team, and they still managed to scrape by on penalties. Honestly, looking at the lineup they’ve got lined up for today? It's a completely different beast. I just don't see how they walk away from this without all three points. How could they possibly miss?

$20.00 on San Diego FC to score at 1.60 odds

Look, LAFC needs this win more than anything, but even if they didn't, if the game opens up, there’s going to be plenty of chances for San Diego to find the back of the net... I mean, San Diego has managed to score at least once in every single away game this season, and honestly, looking at how LAFC is playing lately, today feels like a perfect setup for them to keep that streak alive. The odds aren't exactly mind-blowing, but I think they're actually pretty generous considering San Diego's offense is clicking and LAFC is basically a walking disaster zone right now....

Last season, I was hammering the overs for St. Pauli in the USL Championship and U. Española in Chile, plus hitting unders on Ferro Carril Oeste in the USL League One... this season, the teams have totally shifted.
In the USL Championship this year, Horn is basically a lock for 3+ goals.
Helmond is my go-to when I'm looking at the Dutch second division; usually an over 2.5 play.
Barcelona is another killer pick for a 4+ parlay or even just an over 2.5.
Over in Belgium, Anderlecht games almost always end with 3+ goals.
Hoffenheim are the big hitters for overs in their league, consistently hitting 3+ goals and unders—Borussia Dortmund is right there with them.

When it comes to unders, the traditional low-scoring leagues are the Greek first and second divisions, the Argentine top two tiers, and the Russian second division. Those are the ones I track and slot onto my slips most often.
As for specific clubs, I’d point to Gazovik and Baltika from Russia, and All Boys and Godoy from Argentina’s top flight. The Greeks are just getting started, so no one stands out yet.
Olympiakos is a solid bet to win to nil. They’re sitting on a ridiculous 20:1 goal difference over seven rounds.
