I was leaning toward Glušac, but I've changed my mind.

Maybe I’ll go with Tončić if I can work up the nerve🤣—I'll try emailing the senior partner, assuming I can actually land him for the consultation instead of his junior associate🤷—or just stick with Bastaica. After everything Sophia Hill22 wrote, Bastaica seems like the logical choice.

@Sophia Hill22/">@@Sophia Hill22- could you please send me those before and after photos too?🙂

Seriously, I’m still scratching my head here—why is nobody even mentioning Zambellia? The guy has put together some truly top-tier work...
And just one quick question for the group :P what's the ballpark figure for a consultation?

If anyone is feeling generous, I’d be so incredibly grateful if you could share some photos of your latest outfits! Plizz!

I haven't quite made up my mind on where to go yet, but since I'm planning on having surgery in about eight months, I suppose I have enough time to head out for some consultations if that's what's required... My colleague actually managed to coordinate her entire procedure just over the phone without even needing an in-person consultation, 🤷

I haven't actually made up my mind about which surgeon to go with yet, but since I'm planning on having the surgery in about eight months, I figure I have plenty of time to schedule some consultations if that's what's required... A colleague of mine actually managed to book her entire procedure just over the phone without even needing an in-person consultation, 🤷

Honestly, sorry, but that sounds completely unprofessional to me!

Who was she seeing?

Every single doctor I've seen during consultations has done a full physical exam—checking everything from the outside to feeling the structure inside—and I wouldn't trust someone who thinks they can just wing it blindly, especially not with a face like mine.

I paid for my consultations $83 at a specialist's office near me, though I'm not sure how other people handle it.

During my own consultations, everyone examined my nose thoroughly—they checked it both externally and internally. I wouldn't trust anyone who acts like they’re just winging it blindly—certainly not when it comes to my face.

I paid for my consultation $83 with Dr. Bastaić; I suppose I can't speak for how others were treated.

I was actually wondering about that too... She went to see Dr. Ignatovski, and she dealt with quite a few complications. She had both functional and aesthetic work done, and I guess she's satisfied given how bad things were before, even if her nose looks a bit like a slide now—it's much wider at the bridge than at the tip, which looks somewhat odd. He told her it would settle down over time, but it hasn't; perhaps it's some sort of bone remodeling issue... She paid $1,000 for the surgery.

I find myself wondering the same thing; there hasn't been a single word about Zambellia. Honestly, almost nothing at all, despite how much I keep looking forward to hearing something about him...

I actually went in for a consultation with him recently. The process is pretty straightforward: first, he takes photos of you, loads them onto his computer, and then you discuss the changes you want. He uses software to simulate the results, and once you land on a look you actually like, that's the plan. To be honest, though, the simulation felt a bit too simplistic to me; surgery isn't quite as easy as clicking through a computer program. It turned out that everything I wanted—anything he could show me on that screen—was technically doable during the actual procedure. Part of me wondered if he just creates a perfect digital image to entice patients into booking, only to perform whatever is realistically possible once they're under the knife. The consultations themselves were $83. As for the before-and-after photos on his website? In my opinion, they’re a total disaster. I don't know if they're just outdated, but surely it wouldn't take more than thirty minutes to upload some recent work instead of using those old shots to promote his practice. I'm not trying to be overly harsh here since I haven't had the actual surgery, but the consultation alone didn't exactly wow me. If I heard some positive recent testimonials, I might reconsider, but right now, I'm leaning toward scheduling consultations with Tončić and Glumičić instead. A procedure with Zambelli runs about $2,400; I'd need a septoplasty as well, though I suspect his pricing remains fixed regardless.

Did you go a little overboard with the Photoshop on that second pic? I can barely even see the shape of her nose anymore😕
I have this acquaintance who decided she wanted to go with Zambellia... mostly because she heard he’s top-tier, basically the big boss, and since he’s pricey, she figured his work must actually be good. She went in for a consultation. Apparently, he’s super cold, but she doesn't give a damn about that. She just wants to get her nasal tip narrowed down. He quoted her $2,200.

Consultation fees at most places run anywhere from $150 up to $83. Personally, Glušac didn't charge me anything for my consult.

Sophia Hill22 said:I finally started being able to smell things today! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

p.s. I heard a rumor that Glumičić doesn't actually perform half of his own surgeries. Apparently, he acts more like the manager and the face of the clinic while hiring out other surgeons to do the actual work.

Also, word on the street is he might not even be an ENT specialist? Just a heads up—this could all just be gossip, but maybe those of you who actually go in for appointments could ask if he’s the one performing the procedures himself. 😉

Cek, do you tell people this ahead of time, or do you just get blindsided when you walk into the OR and see a different surgeon standing there?😲
I know he works with Dzepin, but nothing like that came up during my consultation...

And here I was thinking the hardest part would be working up the nerve to actually go through with surgery. Honestly, I'm more terrified of picking the wrong surgeon than anything else.

BTW, does Glusac offer any sort of package deals for people traveling from out of state just for surgery? Like, does the clinic arrange a place to stay while you're recovering and not yet able to take care of yourself, until you're cleared from the casts/splints (or am I going to have to find a hotel where they'll bring me soup through a straw 😁 )???

Sophia Hill22 those photos are absolutely stunning...😍

I just don't get these situations where some other surgeon steps in to perform the procedure 😕
I mean, if I'm paying this kind of money, I'd assume I should be able to choose the specific doctor I requested... otherwise...😳

Hey there, Carol Diaz31!

Regarding those girls—I really think it’s just rumor mill talk. I haven't heard a single word to support that from the surgeon who actually performed my procedure; personally, I always take anything coming from the competition with a massive grain of salt.

But hey, if there is any truth to it, I doubt he’ll ever just volunteer that information without being cornered by a direct question—his reputation has been a household name here for at least 15 years now.
Still, the bottom line is that once you drift off to sleep in the operating room, you're completely out of the driver's seat, right?

To be honest, his work never really caught my eye because his rhinoplasty styles feel so cookie-cutter and mass-produced. I mean, I saw what happened with Blanka Vlašić—that nose just looked totally out of place on her face, and it was pretty jarring to see.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having a slightly upturned nose; honestly, it would actually suit my face quite well (I used to have one just like that until halfway through puberty). Plus, when surgeons try to give everyone the exact same nose shape, at least you know exactly what kind of result you're going to get 😁.

Regarding Blankin's nose, I can't quite figure out what those two little bumps on the bridge are. They weren't there immediately after her surgery (and for the record, I think she has a lovely nose), but I've noticed similar things on a few other women who were rumored to have had rhinoplasty too... I have no clue if it's an issue with the nose itself or if it's down to the surgeon... 🤷 Now, if I had the rest of Blankin's body and could jump around like she does, I probably wouldn't be worrying about this nearly as much... 😁

If we actually had more photos from various surgeons, making a decision would be a lot easier... you guys aren't really giving us much visual material to work with here.
You know what else I've been wondering? :P
Did any of you deal with that stinging sensation in your nasal passages after the surgery?

mistyeagle4 said:Personally, I wouldn’t mind having a prominent nose; honestly, it might actually suit my face better, since that was how I looked until I was halfway through puberty. Plus, when you go for those standardized procedures, they tend to give everyone the exact same look—at least you know what kind of result you're going to get. 😁.

I’m looking at Blankin's nose right now and I can't quite figure out what those two little bumps on the tip are all about. They weren't there immediately after her surgery (and for what it's worth, I think she has a lovely nose), but I've noticed similar things on a few other women who people mentioned had undergone rhinoplasty too... I have no clue if it's just the way their noses are shaped or if it's something related to the surgeon's technique... 🤷 I suppose if I had the rest of Blankin's body and could jump around as energetically as she does, I wouldn't be worrying about this nearly as much... 😁

Ugh, I just noticed those bumps 😲 they look terrible to me, almost like two separate nasal tips, and her nasal bridge looks a bit overdone too

To all the girls on the forum who were asking me for a photo—I don't have a side profile shot handy, and frankly, I really didn't feel like taking a selfie and uploading it right now—my profile looks totally "Greek" at the moment because of all the swelling 😁

I underwent rhinoplasty with Meryl Streep just under four years ago, and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with the results 🙂

It all comes down to the individual, really... it just depends on what someone is actually looking for. =)
