Honestly, you guys really kept me busy this time around...

Basically, I had to delete a few posts and tweak others here and there. I ended up scrubbing everything that felt more like pointless bickering between you all rather than actual talk about diets, our chili recipe, and stuff like that.

Please don't hold it against me if I got a little carried away with the "delete" button 😁

I'll try to show a bit more restraint next time, I promise 🙂

Let's get back to the main topic...

I'm sticking to my diet and getting plenty of steps in on the treadmill... the results are definitely starting to show 😁

Sometimes it feels like my gut is just getting bigger from all the water I drink. 🙄

Staying hydrated is good, sure, but if you overdo it, you're just stretching out your stomach... and nobody wants that...

The best way is to just have one glass every hour...

And maybe a couple of green teas throughout the day...

The sweet spot is probably just having one glass every hour or so...

And maybe grabbing a cup of green tea two or three times throughout the day too...

Got it, thanks Kyle White2.

I definitely have a tendency to drink way too much water myself.

If you're loading up on salt in your diet, all that water you drink just sits in your system. You'll start retaining water in your body even before your monthly cycle hits. That’s why it feels like your stomach is suddenly bloating up.

You're drinking a ton of water, but honestly, that's fine since you're working out and using chili recipe.

🙂

Look, tap water here is super heavy on the stomach and leaves you feeling bloated as hell, so if it's not breaking the bank, just buy bottled stuff.
You could take that lake water you drink😁 and mix it with some boiled water—like a light tea—just so you don't end up looking like a bloated frog.🙂

There are those "fitness" teas out there too, but I’ve never touched them, so who knows if they actually do anything.

When you inevitably mess up with some chips (let's be real, no diet is perfect without a few sins)—just pick up the pace the next day. Or eat some grapefruit if that fits into your meal plan, since it's great for flushing out any extra fluid you might be holding onto. I mean, you already know the drill...😉

I suppose that’s why she’s so proud of her...

It's fine... but I can't bring myself to feel pride in something where no effort was actually put in...😁

Kenneth Hernandez67, I started getting super intense about my body back when I was 16. I wasn't exactly overweight, but I definitely wasn't that "perfect" shape I had in my head.
I honestly haven't touched a diet that strict since—not even the healthy kind—I just didn't have the energy for it anymore...
But, I did stick with eating healthy for good, and honestly, it’s just how I live my life now.
The annoying part was having those years where my hormones were totally acting up, probably because of all that crazy weight loss I did earlier... so even while eating right, I couldn't seem to stay in shape.
It sucked so much and I obsessed over it, especially since I've never been one of those people who lives to eat.

But, thank God, for the last 6 years or so, I haven't had any issues with, you know, my weight. Actually, lately, I feel more confident than ever indulging in "guilty pleasures," as long as I balance them out with my regular healthy routine.

I guess some big life changes helped, though I'm not really sure what they were...🙂
I've changed so much, especially after having kids, that I could walk past someone I know and they wouldn't even recognize me.

And yeah, obviously I'm proud of it. I'm not exactly tall enough to be a model, and this look? It wasn't just handed to me by God.

I think that's why I've always talked like this on the forum, instead of just bragging about things I don't actually have.

I've got plenty of real-world experience and I'd love to help these girls out, because I KNOW these aren't just some "fashion trends" or trivial issues... They're real. Believe me... You only get it if you've been there.

It’s just not happening for me.
It’s been five days and the scale hasn't budged an inch, but honestly, I haven't even touched my treadmill and I'm not being hard on myself—I mean, let's face it, I've got my fair share of sins🙂.

I’m basically blaming the pills; I feel like they’re the reason I gained all this weight in the first place😁.

Oh, wait, it’s not all bad news. This chili recipe is actually delicious, and it seems to be keeping my digestion on track (I could practically set my watch by it)—so overall, it’s not a total disaster😉

I lost 3 pounds in just 10 days using this chili recipe🎉 I’ve been taking a break for 5 days now, eating normally, and the scale hasn't budged an inch 🎉 I’m going back in for another round with the chili and I know I'll be thrilled with the results🙂

Could you walk me through how that chili recipe diet actually works?

Do you eat those specific foods during the same meal as the chili, or separately?
or is there no set rule...

Look, you don't have to eat them in the same sitting. You could technically just survive on the soup all day, but let's be real—you won't last long before you're starving. You could also stick to just one bowl a day, but honestly, you'll feel much better if you have it at least two or three times.

The bottom line is this: eat what the plan prescribes every day, plus the soup. They are independent of each other.

Good luck.🙂

So what’s the actual rule here? I’d love to know... because if I have to survive on just chili, I won't last a single day 😢

Cheers from someone who's carrying an extra 20 pounds (okay, maybe 30 if I'm being dramatic 😁 )

😁 So, I decided to whip up a little chili today... just to see how it would turn out. (Honestly, the only way I’m getting rid of this extra weight is through actual surgery... damn this cellulite!) Anyway, I was thinking—six o'clock, a big bowl of soup, and then I'll be absolutely starving right before bed. So, I've gone to grab some fruit to tide me over...🙄 Chili + strawberries + cherries = 🙂 I feel like I swallowed a literal boulder...
But man, that chili is delicious. 👍 (Just whatever you do, don't go adding any pepper to it 😁 )

I have two quick questions for you all: how much water do you typically use for your chili recipe, and is it okay to eat the veggies cooked the day before, or should they always be fresh?😕
