So, my best friend is looking to get her boyfriend something special for his birthday—specifically a nice pipe, since he’s been eyeing one for ages... does anyone happen to know if there are any "unconventional" or boutique shops in the States that carry them, and perhaps where specifically they might be located?😁

I'm hanging out in downtown Chicago, right across from a little coffee shop. I can't recall the exact name, but if you look for a kiosk, that's probably what it is. If you head over toward the Loop, there's a specialized shop—they actually have musical instruments in the window too. I don't remember the exact street number, but if you start from Michigan Ave heading toward Lincoln Park, just pass through that little alleyway and keep going about a block or so. Otherwise, check out that spot on State Street near number 46 that carries Balestra bags; they're really nice, though I'm not sure about the price tags.
