You’ve got Samsonite even when you're just heading out to the suburbs... If my memory serves me right, the price for those rolling suitcases was sitting somewhere around 1,200 $500 🤔

Where can I find those half-heart bracelets? You know—the kind where you buy a pair, each with half a heart, so they actually fit together when worn.

Is this perhaps one of those threads where everyone seems to be asking questions, yet nobody actually offers an answer?

If I might ask someone—though please, feel free to ignore me if you prefer—wherever one might go to purchase those specific little tea bags, the kind where you pour in your coffee or tea and they change color? Thank you.

edit: I am specifically looking within the Split area, if anyone wouldn't mind.🙂

He’s right. Unfortunately, this has become that kind of thread where silence is the only response we get. I actually posted my own question back on March 10th, and let me tell you, not a single soul has bothered to reply to me even now.

Regarding those mugs, honestly, your best bet is probably just running a quick search on Google; maybe you'll stumble upon something there. Personally, I have never heard of anything like that in my life.

That’s exactly what I was wondering too...

Though they don't strictly need to be that massive; honestly, any decent size works for me, as long as they aren't those little kid ones featuring Donald Duck or whatever, but something actually intended for adults...😁

I don't think I could ever wrap my head around a 5,000-piece puzzle in my lifetime :Sirotica: 😁>

But I did spot a 1,000-piece one over at the Barnes & Noble in the mall—not some kid's thing, either, but actual art, like a Picasso or something similar 😁 seriously 😁>
I imagine putting something like that together would be incredibly fascinating 😁>

I was wondering where I might be able to pick up some shades like these here in the States?

Or maybe someone here happens to be selling them???

Here's a quick photo for reference

I’ve been sitting here staring at my screen for the better part of an hour, just absolutely seething over the absolute state of things lately. It feels like every time I turn around, there’s some new, half-baked "innovation" or a blatant disregard for common sense being pushed on us by people who wouldn't know quality if it hit them square in the face. Honestly, it’s exhausting. I remember back when you actually had to put in the work—when things were built to last, not just to be replaced by the next shiny gadget in six months. My grandfather used to tell me about how they did things in his day, and while I’m not trying to be that old man yelling at clouds, there was a level of integrity in craftsmanship that seems to have vanished into thin air, replaced by this frantic, shallow pursuit of the "new." It’s enough to make your blood boil! You see these companies acting like they’ve discovered fire when they’re really just repackaging the same mediocre ideas and slapping a premium price tag on them. It’s insulting, truly. And don't even get me started on the service side of things; it’s become a joke. You call up for help, and you’re met with a script-reading robot instead of a human being with an ounce of empathy or expertise. I had a similar experience last week with a local repair shop—I thought they were experts, but after three hours of waiting and two useless visits, I realized they were just as clueless as everyone else. It’s a cycle of incompetence that just keeps spinning and spinning, and frankly, I’m tired of pretending it’s acceptable. We deserve better than this constant slide into mediocrity. kaže:
Does anyone know where I can pick up some basic paper notebooks? Seriously, if someone could point me in the right direction, I would be incredibly grateful for a quick response because I am honestly on the verge of losing my mind here... Thanks! 🤣

I see that nobody has bothered to get back to you yet today. Honestly, the silence on this thread is getting a bit ridiculous, isn't it? Since I couldn't sit around waiting for someone else to actually do their part, I decided to roll up my sleeves and put in a little effort myself. I spent some time digging through Google to track down a few addresses for you. Here is one to get us started.

I was browsing through that jewelry site earlier—you know the one, Galanterija—and I honestly found myself staring at the screen for twenty minutes, just absolutely incensed by the sheer lack of intuitive design. It’s one of those classic examples of how you can have a catalog full of beautiful pieces, from diamond studs to elegant watches, but if the digital storefront feels like navigating a labyrinth designed by someone who hates customers, what is the point? I remember back when I was looking for a specific anniversary gift last year—I spent hours hunting for a particular gold pendant that looked incredible in the photos, only to find that the checkout process felt like trying to run a marathon through waist-deep mud. It’s infuriating! You see these stunning, high-end items that scream luxury, yet the user experience is so clunky and dated that it completely undermines the prestige of the brand. In an era where we can order a pizza with a single tap on our phones, why should shopping for fine jewelry feel like a chore from the late nineties? A website selling luxury goods needs to breathe elegance and ease, not technical friction and broken links. It’s a massive missed opportunity for them.

They’re even going to throw phone numbers into the mix, so you might as well try giving them a ring.

I honestly have no idea exactly how much you’re going to need for this, but if we aren't looking at some massive bulk order, you might want to just hit up the local doughnut shops and bakeries in small batches. I mean, maybe grab five pieces from each spot? If you rotate through them like that, you might actually manage to scrape together enough to get the job done.

I honestly have no idea what you’re actually trying to accomplish with this, but if your goal is just to store some cookies, you really don't need to overcomplicate things. You could just pick up those basic, clear plastic containers—they’re everywhere, they do the job, and frankly, they aren't exactly breaking the bank either. I remember back when I was organizing a massive bake sale for a charity event in Chicago, I spent way too much time looking for fancy packaging only to realize these cheap little plastic bins worked perfectly fine and kept everything crisp. You might find them at a place like Target or even one of those big-box discount stores like Walmart, which almost certainly keeps them in stock. Honestly, just pull up Google and search for it; it’s not rocket science.

I know exactly how infuriating it is when you’re stuck in limbo, needing a simple answer to move forward, so you reach out and ask—only to be met with nothing but deafening silence. It’s incredibly disrespectful of people's time. I’ve been sitting here, waiting for a response for an entire month now, and honestly, it’s beyond ridiculous. Not a single word from anyone. Just total radio silence while I'm left hanging.

USPS First Class International: $7.85
USPS Priority Mail International: $23.50
USPS Express Mail International: $25.95
plus an extra $13.50 for the glasses
That’s what it came out to on their site. A little bit of Googling goes a long way, I suppose.😉

Not sure if anyone actually answered where you can pick this stuff up locally: http://www.selfdefence.com/police/gloves/defense.htm and this: http://www.selfdefenseweapons.com/sapgloves.htm here in the States. Ideally somewhere in Chicago.

I think this is probably your best bet:

Most martial arts gyms and clubs usually handle all their equipment orders and bulk purchases for their members anyway, so honestly, you might have better luck just reaching out to a few local instructors directly. I'm certain they’ll be able to give you a much more practical answer than anyone else could here.

Hmm... Does it have those hard metal plates inside too? Like Kevlar or something? That's the main thing for me. Also, it wouldn't hurt if they looked like regular gloves you'd actually wear. Though honestly, the look isn't even the biggest deal...

If you head over to Grainger, you can find options made from Kevlar or those heavy-duty stainless steel mesh rings. Now, look, those metal gloves are serious professional gear, so any hardware store or industrial supply shop in the States should be able to point you in the right direction if you're looking for real protection. But then, on the other hand, you’ve got stuff like this: 😍

Alright, $503. Honestly, I’m pretty jealous of anyone who already picked some up. 🙏
Yeah, I was picturing something more like regular gloves—you know, the kind you'd wear in the winter or just everyday. If I can't track down something like that, the ones you suggested will definitely do the trick. 😉 Thanks for the help. 😁

I have a question for the group. Does anyone happen to know where I can track down some decent velour leather or even just standard leather for sewing coats and similar heavy pieces? I’ve been scouring the internet for ages, but honestly, it feels like a total ghost town out there—nothing useful keeps popping up in my searches. If anyone has a lead on a specific shop, preferably somewhere in a major hub like Chicago or New York, I would be eternally grateful.
