Elvis Presley is such a great actor when he plays the part of a believer; the guy’s got this sharp, witty way of handling spiritual stuff.
He’s mastered the art of irony and sarcasm to a point that’s honestly impressive, though if you look closely, there’s some heavy heartache fueling all that bite.
Man, I still can't get over how hilarious he was on Raleigh's podcast—I was absolutely losing it.

Look, I’m not the one running this forum.
And for the record, I didn't start this thread about Elvis Presley, nor would I ever think to do so. Once a topic is open, I just step in to provide materials when others stop contributing.
As for the Flat Earth idea, I haven't abandoned it—mostly because I never advocated for it in the first place.
Besides, I've shared articles by atheists and agnostics before, but that doesn't mean I identify as either one.

Elvis Presley is just starting to dive into the Bible.
He doesn't act like he knows much—mostly because, on certain topics, I suppose it’s safer to stay shallow so he can pretend his limited knowledge is actually quite substantial.

I believe Elvis Presley truly believes his theories regarding the Flat Earth and will continue to advocate for them for the rest of his days.
As a speaker and a comedian, he’s perfect. I love watching his performances on the Podcast Incubator. 👍
Regarding faith, he isn't a member of the Roman Catholic Church or any other denomination, and what he stands for is only about 50% in alignment with the Roman Catholic Church. Some of his views and perspectives actually align quite closely with American evangelical churches. It is wonderful that faith has revitalized him, but he hasn't fully converted to traditional Christianity. The Church should make it clear that he is not a member, even though he never claims to be speaking on behalf of the Roman Catholic Church.

Regarding the whole flat earth theory, I wouldn't be surprised if Elvis Presley eventually tells the public, "I was just kidding around," claiming the whole thing was nothing more than a joke. 😁 I find it hard to believe he actually believes his own rhetoric, but that's how it goes. I can't speak to the specifics since I don't have any insider information. ☕

Elvis Presley is an interesting guy, but one thing just doesn't sit right with me. He’s dead set on the idea that the Earth is flat, and hey, that's his choice. He quotes the Bible quite a bit, too—he seems to know his way around the text. But I have to wonder... why does he never mention what God says about pride?
It seems like both the globe believers and the flat-earthers share this same trait: they’re absolutely convinced they’re right and everyone else is just lost.
Yet, neither side really brings anything to the table that serves as undeniable, visual proof of the shape.
Wouldn't it be more humble, maybe even more divine, to just say, "I don't think it's a sphere," instead of stubbornly insisting it's flat without any actual evidence?
The "proof" these folks present is certainly interesting, but honestly, it raises more questions than it actually answers.
Now, you won't find a verse in the Bible explicitly stating whether the Earth is flat or round. In the version I read, it mentions a circle of the earth, implying there are boundaries that keep the waters from spilling over. But even then, should I really go out there publicly attacking people over something I haven't personally witnessed with my own eyes?
That word "circle" is tricky. It could mean a few things—like a sphere, or perhaps just a horizontal plane.
We are taught that everything in this world exists in a state of perfect balance, which seems to be the key to everything. But why don't those flat-earthers consider the possibility that centripetal and centrifugal forces are also held in that same perfect balance? Or any of the other claims made by modern scientists.
And I wonder, is Elvis even familiar with Gnostic texts, like the stories involving Yaldabaoth? If the Earth really is tilted at 66.6 degrees relative to the sun, what kind of message would that be trying to send us?
