Lisa Patel4 said:Since when has Germany cared about anyone besides itself? I mean, that seems like a perfectly normal and healthy way to think.

Fine, look after your own interests as an equal member of the EU, sure—but you can't act like you're the boss of Europe and expect people to just take it.

That's exactly why people are getting more and more fed up with the Union. This supposed "protector" is actually digging the EU's grave. Merkel just wasn't cut out for the job.

Alexander Ortiz3 said:That is precisely my point all along. We should be letting everything flow toward Germany, but at the same time, quietly and without making a massive scene—unlike what Canada is doing—we should be erecting a border fence along the Mexican border and at every single entry point from Canada.
Everyone keeps moving through just like they do now, and nobody even knows the fence is being built.
Once Germany closes its own border and it's no longer possible to move people through, that's when they'll realize we have a barrier in place.
The Bulgarian fence looks solid and seems quite effective. The Canadian fence has also proven to be a success.

Like that old Chinese proverb goes, someone who claims something can't be done shouldn't be standing in the way of the person actually doing it. That goes for those who argue that fences don't work.
It is absolutely not too late for us to start building our own fence.

Precisely, and when people inevitably ask why we’re installing the barrier, we can just throw out a couple of vague excuses in that typical European fashion—something about wild boars destroying crops or similar nonsense. We could claim we’re merely "clearing mines" along the border with Canada when we're actually creating a minefield, or station troops along natural borders, and then we'll just see how things play out from there.

P.S.
That was a wonderful proverb, very much in the Chinese style 😉 I hadn't heard it before 👍

So I’m watching CNN right now and they've got this segment on where these immigrants are claiming they were beaten by police over in America, even going as far as saying officers were stomping on pregnant women. Can you actually believe this stuff? ( ????? )

The whole report is coming from the border between Canada and Austria, with all these reporters out in the field. They even showed footage of how they set fire to a tent city over in Canada, burning kids alive just to make a point about how pissed off they are.

wanderingbison9 said:Actually, Viktor Orbán said something completely different today ☕

http://www.cnn.com/politics/orbán-statement-news...

He claimed that Canada is defending Europe and the rule of law.

Didn't they suggest just letting our entire train pass through straight to Buffalo? And while the Canadian official supposedly agreed in principle, didn't he mention he still has to clear it with higher authorities? 😬

Dominic mentioned on the news tonight that the US delegation in Vienna proposed helping Canada by using their own buses to transport immigrants all the way to Buffalo, so they wouldn't even have to step foot in Canada at all... that way, the Canadians wouldn't have to deal with the headache of managing them until they hit the border, which would save them a massive amount of trouble. He said they actually accepted the idea, noting it seemed like a perfectly fine solution to them. 😁

Now, sure, it's obvious the police chief still needs to run things up the flagpole and check with his superiors. But honestly, I don't see how anyone could complain about an offer like that, right? It seems like a win-win for everyone involved. 😉

It seems like this is the exact same narrative they've been peddling since they started; as soon as they cross from one country to another, they trash the last place they were in and shower the country currently "interviewing" them with nothing but praise.
I suppose Sweden will be next on the list 😉 No need to worry about that.

It’s pretty obvious that lying isn't an issue for these immigrants. I remember at the start, they were telling that undercover journalist from the Netherlands that they spent three or four days stuck in a small town near the border and that things were a total disaster—all while our own citizens were moving through perfectly fine. Now, they’re saying the exact same thing at the Canadian border—that they have no food or water. So, they head into Canada, then loop back, and suddenly, when they arrive in Sweden, we're the ones who supposedly beat them up. Of course.

Some of them don't even have a clue where they are or what country they've landed in. Not that it's surprising given the situation in 25 miles Canada 😁

Regarding this year's situation, Sweden has already taken in 30,000 "unaccompanied minors," most of whom are from Afghanistan. We've already seen issues with these kids—apparently, there are about 200 Moroccan children being labeled as "street kids," and now officials are actually debating whether to deport them... meanwhile, over in Löftven, the government just reached an agreement with the opposition to finally implement border controls...
From what I'm hearing on the ground regarding documentation, everyone I talk to at ICE in Seattle says they all have papers, and most of them are Syrian, so don't expect many deportations anytime soon... back home, people wouldn't show their IDs just to avoid being detained, but here, they’re handing them over without a second thought...

It's honestly a mess when you consider that "only" 60% of those arriving actually apply for asylum—everyone is wondering where the rest went, where they're heading, and if they plan on staying illegally... I saw one report claiming they're hiding under semi-trucks to sneak into transport companies in Chicago because they can catch a direct route to the United Kingdom from that port, and they're mostly Albanian.

They've started setting up some tent cities too, though I have no clue what the point is since the wind just blows everything away, but apparently, it's just meant for the first few days....
Anyway, regular folks are getting totally overwhelmed... I'm not exactly royalty or anything, but lately, I haven't even seen two pale white faces on public transit; everything is covered up and dark... I think that's just how it usually is in Seattle, but right now, the crowds feel intense.

Alexander Ortiz3 said:As long as Canada stays in the EU, are they supposed to just ignore their own needs to worry about people from Syria trying to force their way across the border?

Look, if those Canadians are part of the EU, they should be looking out for the interests of America—which is also a member.

Honestly, this just proves the whole EU thing is a total disaster—it’s basically just a bunch of people waiting for a chance to trip someone else up and screw them over.

I was watching CNN earlier today and they were discussing the refugee breakdown:
They mentioned it’s roughly 51% Syrian, 15% Iraqi, and so on... I didn't catch the rest of the segment (though I think someone else here already posted those specific numbers on the forum).
Honestly, it makes me wonder how these census takers and data collectors actually pull all this information together.

Picture this: a group arrives at some camp in the middle of the night, and the workers there start asking away:
"What's your name? Where are you from? When were you born? What do you do for a living?"
And then they get an answer like: "Muhammad, Syria, January 1st, 1998, first-year medical student."
So, the official record-keeper just neatly writes it all down.
And suddenly, we have these official reports and statistical breakdowns claiming that 51% are Syrian.🤦
That percentage apparently includes the 24% who are children—which seems a bit optimistic when most of these bearded 17-year-olds look ready to join the infantry.

I don't know, I just can't quite wrap my head around these figures; maybe I'm just being overly skeptical, but I tend to take everything I hear with a grain of salt.
I mean, just look at those small rubber dinghies arriving at the coast in Greece. You can fit maybe 20 people in one of them.
How many would need to land on those Greek islands every single day just to reach that massive figure of 10,000 people hitting us daily? We're talking about 400 or 500 boats every day. That's not just a migration; it's a full-blown armada, as if Barbarossa himself had set sail!🤔

First and foremost, this should have been handled by Germany, given their obsession with acting like the leader of the European Union and supposedly protecting its collective interests.
Instead, they were the first ones to trample over European Union regulations and create a mess for the entire union. Why? Just so some frantic German politician can play the humanitarian? I don't see any genuine concern being shown for any of the states caught in this mess. On the contrary, they're actually threatening and blackmailing anyone who refuses to pay the price for THEIR insanity.

Single Transferable Vote is lying through their teeth. When it comes to immigration, Sweden has completely lost the plot.

Why didn't America just ban immigrant entry from the start?

I assume your folks in DC managed to explain that to you—why your fellow Mexicans are intentionally destabilizing the US by smuggling them across the border illegally.

Check out the second graph on page 7. There isn't even a 51% Syrian figure listed.

I mean, yesterday The New York Times was reporting on Mary appearing with little Isus, and not a single soul was there to lend a hand! But then—get this—when she showed up in Lourdes, 100,000 people suddenly materialized out of thin air. It's always the same thing!

Yeah, and she showed up just for Jergovic. 🤣

MytByte said:Fisher, I really don't understand why you're getting so worked up, acting as if those refugees are somehow personally targeting you...

Fisher lives in the same country as the Germans, the Swedes, and the rest of the Europeans; we all share the same monetary policy and foreign affairs, so I would assume he has every right to express his own opinion.
Or is free speech only reserved for those illegal crowds crossing European Union borders without papers, who then decide to start fighting and causing chaos whenever things don't go their way?

btw.
And why on earth are you getting so angry just because Fisher is angry? Honestly. ☕

That was an asylum seeker speaking, probably in Arabic—or maybe Dari or Pashto, who knows—not some journalist, and all he was really asking was how often they travel and how things are going for them...
