nobody stayed... asylum seekers are down 50% compared to back in 2014...

Nobody is going to stick around if they’re being forced into places where life is miserable.
That is the fundamental key to solving the immigrant surge...

Oh, absolutely.
There are plenty of ways to handle "humanitarianism"—bureaucracy and simply making sure the reality on the ground matches the empty promises... that's the best way to win a war without ever picking up a weapon.

Just finished catching up on the news, and honestly—it didn't exactly make me feel any better about how things are going.

What Turkey cooked up—and those idiots in the European Union just swallowed (without even checking the fine print first)—is basically a massive trap we're digging for ourselves. It's just an open playground for scammers of all kinds.
It's honestly brutal.🤦

Do you really think that having the whole European Union and all those other countries get together would actually accomplish anything? 😁

I mean, come on—even if they started assigning everyone based on those quotas again, I have to ask: who is actually going to force someone to stay against their will?
You try to ship them over, and they just find a way out.
"Sure, you might get $15 a month. Maybe. You might have a better shot once your paperwork clears—which usually takes about a year. If you decide to appeal, well, then you're looking at another two or three years" (and honestly, nobody even needs to lie about it, it’s just the reality of the system 🤣)
"Alright, thanks, catch you later, I guess."

And even if they did try to distribute everyone by country, most of them would just end up heading toward Germany or Sweden anyway.

It isn't just about the quotas. The whole thing is sketchy—but what really gets me is that the European Union, which should be looking out for its own members first, is handing out massive piles of cash to a country that isn't even part of the mess and barely has anything to do with it.
And it's not just about the money—there's other stuff too—but hey, I can say whatever I want.

Personally, I think the idea of scrapping visas altogether sounds way more dangerous.

I get it—the whole thing feels like pure hysteria.

As for me, I don't have much more to add—at this point, I'm just at a loss for words...

It feels like we're staring down the barrel of the European Union falling apart, especially since nobody really wants anything to do with Turks right now.

The bigger issue here is that Turkey (probably) doesn't even want potential terrorists hanging around—this just gives them an excuse to get rid of them.

And honestly, the worst part is seeing the European Union completely paralyzed—it’s pretty obvious they can't protect their own strategic interests or security. I'd say this is actually worse than just dealing with a million immigrants overnight.

I find myself in total agreement. Is it not particularly unsettling when one considers the significant influence exerted by Turkey and Saudi Arabia within the Syrian conflict?

It’s not just refugees or migrants anymore—nobody wants to come here at all, which really just shows what kind of mess we've become if even they aren't interested...🤦

So, I was just thinking about this one guy who got sent back to Turkey—you know, one of those migrants getting deported—and then there’s this other guy heading straight for the European Union. It makes me wonder, honestly... if they're just going to keep showing up anyway, what's even the point of sending them back in the first place? 😵

As for the "why"—that part is pretty obvious.

It’s basically a way of "fixing" things without actually fixing anything...

The only thing I can't wrap my head around is who they think they're putting on this ridiculous stage in the first place...

Well, it isn't really that much of a miracle when you consider the history. In today's digital age, it is nearly impossible to hide anything, but just a few decades ago, things were quite different; one could be a priest and still "father" a child by quietly providing enough financial support to ensure discretion and help raise the kid, all while maintaining the ability to see them later on.

Moving on to the actual topic... Over 200 ISIS members have defected from the group. Most of them simply "changed outfits," essentially switching sides to fight for other factions like Al-Nusra. However, some have fled to Turkey, presumably to pose as refugees. Once they make their way toward the EU, we are all going to face a massive challenge.

Check out these aerial shots from the BBC showing one of the massive refugee camps over in Zayn Malik; I think it's called Zayn Malik

Precisely—and it seems the EU will likely end up subsidizing this entire "exchange" process. In essence, they are funding both the deportation of those deemed unsuitable back to Turkey and the arrival of those who are considered acceptable.:klap:😵

It is truly devastating to witness so many people crowded into such a tiny area, especially when you consider that another 2,000 arrive every single day. If I understood the figures correctly, the daily operating costs are hitting $550,000.

Yet, you can see that the tents are organized quite well; there are even established "streets" and a specific section set apart from the rest. I assume that is where they handle the registration and processing of the migrants.
