I just can't wrap my head around how this guy takes out three gangsters and the police don't even bother with a proper investigation. Instead, we just get some disorganized local sheriff showing up to play cop. Then there's that scene in Philadelphia where he tears through four more thugs without anyone lifting a finger—it honestly feels a bit like Captain Mike or maybe even Buddy Spencer. Any sane woman would be a lot more worried and start questioning her husband's past when all these shady characters come looking for him. It all feels a bit too messy for me. But hey, since it’s based on a comic book (a graphic novel, right? 🙂), I guess you have to forgive some of the logic gaps. The violence is well done, though—raw, gritty, and intense. The ending, however, is pure Hollywood cliché; that pathetic little moment with the food, implying that having a father and husband like this is somehow better than nothing at all... give me a break. Average rating, a three out of ten...
I’ve been taking Elevit—not sure if they even carry it here in the States—but the label specifically says it's formulated for pregnancy and breastfeeding.👋

Give me a break. At this rate, everything is a "cult classic." You've got people treating Lord of the Rings like gospel, others swear by Harry Potter, Metallica is legendary, Iron Maiden is iconic, and I guess the band The Cult counts too. I might just have to accept that we're living in the era of the "cult classic." I won't even bother listing all the other global phenomena, or we'll be here all day...
I sat through half an hour of the first Matrix, maybe ten minutes of the second, and I’m definitely not wasting any more cash or time on the third. Do you guys actually have a decent argument for watching this "cult classic" that isn't just pointing at some special effects? 😕

A few lines of my own...
I love hearing you talk in all this madness the illusion fades away stripped down to the bone becoming reality a forgotten ache I don't want to pull you away
words like a fairy tale calm the storm don't worry, someone remembers every moment of the year all the walks and talks while you're still wondering trust me
watch my girl walking down the street do you notice the color on her cheek today is the first day of spring and she's enjoying it like it's the very last
Look, I can't stand the copy-paste games on this forum, but since the OP specifically asked for it, here we go. This is my favorite track by Queen...
Chasing through the city on a silent vow Coat slung over my shoulder, just how I do Holding yesterday’s paper in my hand Don't care if I look a mess, it wasn't planned I duck into every local dive bar I find Grabbing some wine or bourbon to unwind Then I'm watching the clock so I won't be late And before I even say hello to my fate I'll give her lips a soft, gentle touch We head out together, wanting too much She wants me to whisper, keep my voice low Not making a scene about my problems, you know She just wants to live with the one she loves dear Looking at others while thinking of me being near She confesses her husband is waiting at home That kissing him isn't where her heart wants to roam So I stay quiet, playing the wise man role Her fingers wander, searching for a soul Tracing patterns all over my face "Hey, honey, what's wrong?" I ask with grace Quietly mentioning a movie we should see It's gloomy outside, but cozy as can be Spending big bucks on boring hours of life Thinking of you, despite the stress and the strife She buys me popcorn when the mood is right Peanuts and pretzels for a cinematic night She really tries her best to please me, it's true While hungry strangers watch us both, passing through The rustle of wrappers, a scent in the air Good lord, what a terrible movie is playing there Midnight approaches, the show carries on We hop in the car and we're moving on Out past the city limits, a field lies ahead A nice little spot where the shadows are spread Making love while the air grows thick and heavy Bright lights hitting us, breaking the levee It's not right, because there's a train on the track I grab the wheel and floor it, no looking back Cold sweat dripping down my neck Paranoia Fleeing into the dark

Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, Salma Hayek, Willem Dafoe, Mickey Rourke... it’s basically an All-Star lineup, all directed by Robert Rodriguez. Even little Enrique hits the high notes here. It’s a mix of romance and revenge, featuring some brutal scenes that might not be for everyone, plus a few killer guitar tracks that feel like one long music video. Go see it. In theaters. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Steamroller—still one of the best American bands out there. They’ve got a massive catalog of great tracks, and honestly, I grew up listening to them constantly. You don't hear them much these days, but they definitely earned a spot in this thread.

Since I mostly grab stuff online before it even hits theaters, and since I'm constantly downloading so much, that old magic of just sitting down and enjoying a film is gone. Now it’s just a chore—if I even find the time to actually sit through one.
Poor driftingpuma14, life is just so tough for you...
Comedy, action, romance, horror... whatever you want to call it, I actually really liked this one. A few solid jokes here and there, some playful energy from Johnny Depp, a very attractive Keira, a sleepy-looking Orlando Bloom, and a routine Russell Crowe all jamming through an hour and a half of pure fun. Definitely worth a watch. Personally, I got the most out of the scenes featuring those old sailing ships. The Black Pearl, right?
Queen immediately comes to mind for me. They’re legendary, and honestly, pretty iconic. Every time my buddy has a few drinks, he starts rambling about seeing them live—says it was one of the best moments of his life. To me, a real legend isn't someone like Metallica, who MTV seems to play every thirty minutes anyway.
It’s about time we finally got into this debate over what certain bands actually play—whether they're rock, grunge, hard rock, or metal... I think I'll just sit this one out.

Wait, what was that movie again? The one where the guy in the blue and red suit raises his hand and starts flying? And then he begins spinning the Earth around?
Losing the points is enough of a penalty for him. He basically wrecked Kimi and Ruben, who probably would’ve snatched those points too, but hey, that's just speculation. It's not like he did it on purpose—he was just driving his line, clipped a Ferrari wheel, then the McLaren driver hit him, and everything went to hell. That's just racing for you, I guess. Man, if my older brother had been involved in that, now that would've been a show.
