Ice Age: The Meltdown in Movies ·
What can I even say... 🙏 🙏 🙏 That part where the opossum does the whole "peace" sign and thumps its chest? 🤣 🤣 I ended up rewinding that specific moment five times.

I recently finished setting up my home theater, so I can finally enjoy movies even more. It has me wondering: which films—the truly great ones—have absolutely blown you away with their sound design? (Aside from The Lord of the Rings😬 ).

Saving Private Ryan, the entire Matrix trilogy for sure, Pearl Harbor, and The Aviator.

Come on, quit the nonsense.😁

You're just making things up!

🤣 🤣 🤣 (it might be worth a listen; perhaps some people will find a new music genre they actually enjoy) 😂

Cut the chatter. 😬

🙂

What's up?😉
Just thought I’d throw my two cents into the mix,

Tango and Cash
The Game
Godfather 123 Day
Independence Day
Pearl Harbor

Reservoir Dogs

and my absolute favorite love story of all time—The Notebook 😍

I suppose that one is decent, though you could certainly include "Just Like Heaven" in there too.🙂

I caught the trailer, and honestly, I think this movie is going to be excellent.👍

To those claiming the movie is complete garbage, please, just wait until you meet a heavy-set mother 😁.

Frank Moore4 said:Since Independence Day was on TV this Wednesday, I wanted to start a thread dedicated to that movie, but I just didn't get around to it.

I already know how it goes—somebody is going to jump in immediately with the usual complaints about favoring Americans or how they fix things too easily for the "little guys"; 😂 and all that. But for me, Independence Day remains a total cult classic. I especially love the scene where the ship looms over Washington, D.C. (not to mention when Will Smith flies out of the house 😁). It was the biggest hit of 1996, and I think many people still remember the massive crowds hitting the theaters back then. Honestly, even though it was made over twenty years ago, the visual effects hold their own against today's biggest blockbusters.

By the way, it’s a shame that it looks like they gave up on making ID 2.

🙏 Congrats on starting this thread. I second everything you said. The movie is fantastic, a true classic, and one of the best Sci-Fi movies out there.
Definitely! It isn't just a matter of taste; it's simply a great film through and through.
I've watched it at least 20 times 😬 and of course, I have it in my private collection.

10/10 👍

Thanks for the tip on the movie. I really enjoy Cage and his filmography😁

I’ve sat through quite a few of his films myself. The man is a cult icon, truly. To be honest, I struggle to imagine anyone else pulling off a movie quite as bloody as something directed by Takeshi Kitano.😁

ichi..😁
Movies that just hit different

1. Independence Day
2. The Godfather
3. Private Parts
4. National Treasure
5. Bad Boys
What would you rather watch for Christmas? in Movies ·

You are quite right, actually. It is almost as if no other films exist. 😳
The Watch (2004) in Movies ·
The movie is honestly just pure entertainment; I haven't really watched anything in that vein since The Matrix🙂 As long as they're throwing punches, I'm happy!🙂
Good versus evil🙂

Look...

Constantine🙂
Now this... this is the good stuff🙂

I just caught a commercial for this movie. They’re calling it a new trilogy and claiming it makes The Matrix look like child's play. Honestly, if you haven't checked out the screenshots or the trailers yet, you really should. I am more than impressed with how they've put this together!🙂

My apologies if someone has already started a thread about this film.

I honestly don't understand why some people feel the need to tear him down. He’s a good man who has delivered some truly interesting and entertaining films over the years.🙂

Let me just clarify one thing here.

ENTERTAINING!🙂

Red spots on skin? in Health ·
It’s definitely an allergy. My girlfriend deals with the exact same thing. It all seems to depend on the "wind," if you catch my drift... sometimes when a strange breeze kicks up, I just break out suddenly. It’s almost like a sudden flash of light, you know?🙂

And then, just as quickly, it vanishes. Maybe after a few minutes, maybe fifteen... it varies depending on the day.
