You’ve got these perfectly normal people tossed into these absolutely ridiculous, caricatured situations. Bill Murray is just killing it, as usual. And Willem Dafoe? Honestly, I don't think you've ever seen him played quite like this before. All in all, it’s a fantastic film—definitely sits right up there with Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums. I know this sounds incredibly subjective, and honestly, it is. But I just can't help myself—Wes Anderson is absolute perfection to me. I won't even bother talking about the plot of the movie; frankly, who cares about that? Here is the link.. My only real gripe is with Cinemark. They’ve scheduled the latest showing for this movie at 7:40 PM. I have to wonder what they were thinking—did they assume this was some kind of kid's flick?
I have to admit, while I was watching the film, I couldn't shake the feeling that everyone in it was just completely abandoned. Don't even get me started on Bill.🙂

During the summer, when I'm back home and basically living in the ocean—I hit the beach first thing in the morning and again in the evening, maybe ducking in for lunch, but otherwise I completely forget what solid ground feels like—my entire physique improves to an unbelievable degree. I am quite tall, which unfortunately means I struggle with back issues, though that usually only flares up in the spring. By then, I think I've finally shed all the muscle mass I put on the previous summer. Right now, for instance, I can barely lift a twenty-pound dumbbell (I gave it a shot at a friend's place), yet by the end of August, I’ll be lifting my own body weight. I don't do any extra workouts; I just swim all day long. My chest and abs get remarkably defined, but looking at myself right now, I feel like I'm made of jelly.
Unfortunately, I can't bring myself to go to the public pool. The smell makes me nauseous, and I feel like I'm going to throw up immediately.
Exactly. You don't need a gym membership to get stronger... which is exactly what I want to achieve!🙂 As for the nausea, I felt sick after only six laps. That’s my current level of fitness, I suppose...
Well, I went ahead and did it. I hit the pool after a long, long hiatus. As it turns out, my muscles are absolutely killing me this morning. So, yeah, clearly everything was working just fine while I was in the water 😁
How often are you all actually getting in the pool? I know swimming is one of those total-body workouts—great for building stamina, lung capacity, and just general fitness overall...
I finally made it back today, though it’s been seven months since I last hit the water. It feels surprisingly good. I’m planning on being consistent from here on out. Phew!!

😁 Well, I suppose I should head back to the coast this summer, but man, have prices skyrocketed lately... I might just stay home instead. :P
I mean, Ichi is basically a killer who manages to reach climax while he's committing these murders, so if we're being honest... it's practically porn. :P
But then you look at the actual movie scenes—stabbing people in the head with needles from a distance, limbs getting hacked off, just an overwhelming amount of BLOOD!!

Well, let's wait and see. I truly hope it lives up to the hype.
I am honestly not sure if I have actually gained weight. If you ask me anything else about it, all I can tell you is that my stomach just feels bloated after I eat :P. It is not like I am REALLY that fat, especially since I actually dropped about 10 or 11 pounds between January and now. 😁
By the way, I haven't touched a cigarette in three months; I’m just being careful about what I eat. 🙂 Not too much, I suppose. Maybe I was up a few pounds during that first month, but it fluctuates constantly depending on when I last ate, blah blah.
