I guess I’d love to see an actual, reasoned argument for why country music is considered primitive. Assuming we're talking about that modern pop-country stuff, what's the issue? Is it because the artists are from certain parts of the South? The instruments? The singing style? Or maybe just how people act at the shows? As far as I can tell, when people listen to country, they just end up in a good mood. They aren't out there picking fights. Maybe it's the dancing? If that's the case, then punks throwing themselves around is a much bigger sign of primitivism. 🙂 Not to mention those political rallies where everyone gets drunk, starts swinging their arms around, and dances with lit cigarettes while watching some guy spin a cigarette like a pro. 😵 If we're going by that logic, I suppose we're all pretty primitive. 🙂
If a genre doesn't suit our taste, I don't think that makes it primitive. In my opinion, someone making that claim just because they dislike a certain sound might actually be the one showing primitivism. 🙂 I mean, thank God the world works such that there's something for everyone. We all find our own niche. It's just easier to say, "those people are idiots." And when you ask why, it turns into, "because they're from the South"... 🙄
First off, I don't really listen to country music, but I’d take that over techno any day 😂 and second, I have zero interest in getting into a debate with someone who lacks basic sense 😬 plus, I don't get worked up easily; I'm just giving my two cents on a stupid question. 👋

I guess those who listen to it found something they like. Just like how someone loves metal, there are people who love country music. But you asked specifically about that certain genre, and I don't think mainstream folk fits into your division, so I'm probably going off-topic... anyway, I still think starting this thread was a bad idea.🙄 🙂

I open the pack, grab one piece, chew it for maybe thirty seconds, then grab another... chew that... then eventually I get bored and toss it... after about twenty minutes, I’ll pop two pieces in at once, chew for ten minutes, spit them out... then I just start the whole cycle over again, and before I know it, the pack is empty 😬. But what am I supposed to do when I love the flavor but it disappears so fast? 🙄 Just my little contribution to the thread 👋.

By the way, I know some guys who got tattooed at home by certain people. They didn't go to a shop; they just went to someone they knew could handle it—someone who probably sterilizes their gear and stuff. I don't know much about it, but it’s usually cheaper that way. It’s basically the same thing, just different packaging. You stay home instead of going to a salon...
I'm curious though, when you guys got tattooed, did it actually hurt that much? Be honest. And... are there any of you who are generally pretty sensitive but went through with it anyway? How did you deal with it? Just grit your teeth? Grab a drink? 😉
Natalie Portman gave an absolutely brilliant performance. She killed it. The only thing was her expression—she looked a bit like a deer in headlights. I guess she was just dealing with massive stage fright, which makes sense given how huge this event was; she probably just needs some time to get used to the spotlight... and I’m not going to bother addressing all your "prophetic" comments about who’s a genius and who isn't (honestly, you don't even know her personally, so good for you) because none of that actually matters for this thread.

Ugh. So, here's the thing. It used to be that I’d get this pain in my left ovary area just a few days before my period. It was brief, didn't really bother me, and only happened right before or during the start of my cycle.
If I'm remembering correctly, the pain is centered around my left ovary.
The issue is, for the last month or two, that pain hasn't gone away. It’s basically there all month long now. I have no idea why. To describe it... it feels like someone is poking at the spot with a needle. It doesn't radiate; it's always the exact same spot. It sort of "pulses"—it hurts, then stops, it isn't constant. It doesn't stop me from doing things, though sometimes the sharp stabs are a bit stronger. Maybe it has something to do with how often I walk around barefoot? I guess I don't know.
Has anyone else dealt with something like this, or does anyone have an idea what might be going on? I'm starting to worry it might be something more serious... thanks in advance...

Of course, when I’m talking about guys I run into daily, I don't just judge based on looks. I really don't. But regarding public figures... I guess personality isn't always the deciding factor. Like, if someone like 50 Cent is considered sexy just because he’s in great shape despite his face, fine. You don't need to know their character since you can't exactly know that anyway 🙂. Then again, everyone has their own definition of what's attractive, which is why I think it's stupid when someone posts an opinion and gets told "what terrible taste you have." It's just a matter of personal 🙂. Honestly, I'm glad I find certain singers attractive; if I thought the lead singer from Placebo was sexy, I'd probably question my own eyesight 😁. Just an example... something like 🙂. And yeah, okay, maybe I took issue with one person on my list, haha, but the rest were solid... Tyrese is great, not just because he's handsome and sings well, but because he seems genuinely romantic 😍. Ah... 😁

Besides, as far as I know, his whole life doesn't revolve around writing those silly songs, which have to be that way if he wants to make anything in a country where even someone like Bruce Springsteen fills stadiums.
