Wild Hogs in Movies ·
A comedy starring Martin Lawrence, John Travolta, Tim Allen, and a few other big names

I was watching this yesterday... definitely worth checking out 👍

It’s been quite a while since I sat down for a comedy where I actually found myself laughing every few minutes 🤣 😁

What are your thoughts on it?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Part 1 or 2? in Movies ·
The first half leans more into those little character beats and subtle bits of humor... especially regarding Johnny Depp...
The second part feels like it relies a bit more on heavy visual effects and all that stuff..

To answer you, I definitely prefer the first half because of those small, clever touches and the dry wit.😬 😁
Who is the best actress? (Part 2) in Movies ·
When Julia Roberts isn't on screen, you can always count on Meryl Streep 😛
Eragon in Movies ·
So... if you've actually read the book—though I personally listened to it; there are two files available for download, about 100 MB each, totaling roughly 16 hours of content
...
Whatever you do, do NOT watch the movie... it's absolutely nothing special... you just can't cram everything from the book (which is fantastic, by the way) into a ninety-minute runtime
...
I'm telling you, you're better off just downloading those two files (Audiobook - Eragon is what you're looking for) and giving that a listen😉

The movie is a total disaster... I tried watching it three different times and gave up every single time... I honestly can't force myself to sit through more than twenty minutes of it... everything feels rushed and completely unexplained... it's just bad, plain and simple
...
Oh, did I mention the movie was terrible? 😬
Recruitment and Piercing :( in Health ·
Maybe try explaining it to your doctor or nurse just like you did for us... though I can't say for certain if that’ll actually make a difference...

I remember this one kid back in elementary school who had an absolute terror of needles... some lady tried to give him a shot and he just straight up fainted on the spot... when he finally came to, his first question was just whether it was all over already?😬
My screen is flickering in Health ·
I remember my eye used to have this slight, rhythmic twitching sensation once upon a time... I’m pretty sure I was down on the coast in Florida for a few days at the time, and honestly, it just resolved itself without me doing a single thing about it... so there's really no reason to stress out over it... the twitching will eventually settle back down 😎 😁
When you get burned... in Health ·
Drew Mitchell55 said:while you're busy messing around, just stick your finger under the tap😬

I always go straight for the cold water and leave it running for about ten minutes...

I’ve also heard that oil is probably the absolute worst thing you can use because it basically seals the skin and stops it from breathing...

hehe..true enough.....

I actually burned myself once back in fifth grade... I was trying to catch a falling clothes iron (please don't ask 🤣 )

Burned my palm... walked into class... my English teacher noticed and nearly lost her mind.... she grabbed my hand and marched me down to the school cafeteria kitchen.... she made this concoction with egg whites and spread it over the burn, then wrapped it up in a cloth... by the time school let out that afternoon, I took it off and honestly, I don't even have a scar today or anything 🙂

Well, I'm running a bit behind schedule here..😬

When you’re dealing with a burn... you take an egg... separate the white... whip it up until you get this light, airy foam, and then apply that directly to the burn area.... just gently holding it there with something to keep it in place....
Let it soak in completely and you shouldn't end up with any scarring or anything of the sort....
As for how much it actually dulls the pain, I can't quite recall the specifics.

I know, it sounds pretty ridiculous 😁 but it actually works

That’s specifically for burns 🙂
I’ve noticed an increase in my bilirubin levels as well... I think it was sitting at around 42 when I last had it checked, though honestly, I can't quite remember how many years it's been since that measurement...

I’ve always just had naturally pale skin... back in the day, I used to go pretty hard on the Bud Light, probably knocking back two liters a day without a second thought... lately, though, I’ve cut way back because I mostly stick to water... I don't necessarily avoid anything specific regarding that bilirubin issue, but for now, I’m feeling fine enough😁

Even though they haven't officially diagnosed me with any sort of Gilbert syndrome or whatever you want to call it... though maybe they have and I just haven't caught wind of it yet🤔 😬
So they aren't allowed to give it?

🤣 😵
If that’s actually the case, then we really are just a bunch of idiots 😵

In my view, anyone who is healthy should be able to donate blood. It’s really that simple.
Ice Age: The Meltdown in Movies ·
It’s a decent enough movie, though I can’t help but feel it lacks some of that magic from the original, even if there are plenty of good moments scattered throughout.
As for the poor translation, honestly, I wouldn't know one way or another since I always watch things without subtitles anyway.😬
Lord of War (2005) in Movies ·
I think you might be thinking of Lord of War, though I suppose it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

It’s a solid film, all things considered.

I’ve been staring at my profile for maybe a month or two now, wondering why my post count is stuck at 1873 when I know for a fact I’ve contributed at least thirty new messages since then.🤔
What could it be? in Health ·
What does that pressure around and above the eyes actually "feel" like?
I once had that exact same sensation right above my eyes... it felt like someone was constantly poking at me with a thousand tiny needles.
I ended up seeing a doctor and went in for some scans, only to find out I just had a mild sinus infection.

So, if that’s how it’s hurting, that's likely your culprit. My doctor just handed me a prescription, told me to grab some Voltaren, and called it a day. 😵 😬
Hold on a second... are people seriously paying extra out of pocket for something a doctor is actually REQUIRED to do? 🤔

It’s a complete disaster.

Look, I get it—I know how things work, and I realize you eventually have to wait your turn and deal with all those bureaucratic hoops... but handing over cash for something a doctor is supposed to handle (and frankly, SHOULD want to do if they're actually practicing medicine) just seems incredibly foolish to me. Doctors acting like this are an absolute disgrace.

Anyway, I won't exhaust myself talking about it. ☕

I have absolutely no intention of cooking for anyone, because quite frankly, I’d much rather starve while wandering through the Midwest than deal with that.🙄
How old are you actually?

Three?
Is there a shop where I can pick up some actual humor?

I seem to have an excess of it, so I suppose it comes cheap...🙄
