I’m heading out for some shopping tomorrow... The only thing I haven't quite decided yet is whether or not I actually want to tag along with my friend who just found out she's pregnant. 😕
Look, she’s family. It’s always just easier to talk things through with a real person standing right in front of you. I wasn't trying to be unkind or anything. These pages I sent over seem pretty thorough to me, and everything is laid out quite clearly.
Look, let me clear this up. My primary care physician isn't some gatekeeper for my gynecologist. You don't need to jump through hoops or get a referral from your GP just to see a specialist, unlike when you're trying to get an appointment with a dermatologist where they have to vet you first! 🙄 It’s actually pretty straightforward—you just show up or give them a call to discuss whatever issue you're dealing with.

And then I turn around and get lectured on my intelligence over on another subforum! 😂 I mean, do people actually think you go to an OB-GYN for these kinds of issues?🙂

Hold on, what’s the actual deal with your relationship status? Are you guys talking every single day, or is that an exaggeration? How often does that actually happen? How frequently are you two actually hanging out in person? I’m trying to figure out if this is one of those situations where you have a functional connection that just hasn't been officially labeled, or if you're strictly playing the "we aren't together" game where you just run into each other occasionally and leave it at that.

I’ve reached a point where I’ve decided I just can't live like this anymore. We’ve been "together" for nearly three years now. My only hesitation is the fear that if I walk away, I'll end up making a massive mistake and regretting it later. I find myself hunting for a valid reason to dump him, but I can't find one because there isn't one; he's actually a great guy. The only issue is this constant indecision, or whatever else you'd want to call it.
Three whole years?😲 I didn't even realize it had been that long! In my experience, if someone is dragging their feet, it's usually been months of the same old stalling. It’s either a yes or a no. Sure, we can play the "friends with benefits" game for a while longer, but that rarely ever evolves into a real relationship down the road... Is a few months really not enough time for someone to figure out what they actually want?
It’s entirely possible. A colleague of my mother's spent years popping Voltaren, Advil, and similar stuff without a second thought, right up until she landed in the ER one day because it turned out she was actually allergic to a specific ingredient common to all those medications...
I’m not even sure there’s much point in trying to help here. Honestly, I’d probably have to shadow her every single day just to make any kind of headway...
Look, I’m not saying this is definitely what you're dealing with, but the last time I went through something similar—and it wasn't just a hormonal thing or lasting only a few days—it turned out to be a *Helicobacter pylori* infection. Here is the link. Don't take every single word in there as gospel because it isn't quite that dire, but if these symptoms hang around, you really ought to see a doctor since this stuff isn't exactly harmless; for me, the only real symptom was just feeling like I couldn't stop eating!

well, I’ve officially moved into that bubble full-time. there's an endless mountain of material to study, midterms are looming right around the corner, and here I am, still stuck in total stagnation.
Besides, I’ve been taking it easy for a solid year now—which is exactly why I burned out in the first place—and honestly, it hasn't done a damn thing to help.
