Visible veins on my hands/arms in Health ·
Yeah, I’m dealing with those same nasty, dry patches on my hands too—specifically running from my wrists down to my fingers. It’s honestly revolting.
Anyway, I’ve noticed that once I actually lie down in bed—which is totally normal, I guess—they tend to tighten up.

So, I just tried that little trick someone mentioned above—you know, where you lift your hands, or rather your forearms, straight up in the air? Well, I swear, it actually works! 👍
Spotting before my period: Is this normal? in Health ·
No, I don't do pills.
Spotting before my period: Is this normal? in Health ·
Sometimes, I get this weird thing happening where about ten days before my period actually starts—just for maybe two or three days—I notice some light spotting down there... 😬

Aside from that, I’m not feeling anything else at all—no cramping, no burning when I go to the bathroom, nothing... everything else feels totally normal...

Has anyone else dealt with something like this?
It's freaking hot out there! in Health ·
How on earth are you guys handling this heatwave?
Seriously, I was throwing up just the other night—and I mean four separate times—nothing but water, obviously. I barely ate anything all day because the heat was just too much to handle; if I managed even a single bite, it felt like a total struggle to get it down. On the bright side, I’ve been chugging water like there’s no tomorrow...
I guess, if I’m being honest, the stress isn't helping either. Finals week is creeping up in June and I've been buried in my textbooks... plus, I’m still smoking and drinking way too much coffee. 😠

silentcanyon102 said:I didn't realize that was something doctors were actually recommending these days. My physician told me quite clearly—and I take his advice seriously—that I need to significantly increase my intake of fruits and vegetables (which essentially makes up my entire diet anyway) and get outside for more fresh air every single day (something I already make a point to do). He insisted that once I follow through, the fatigue will lift and my focus will return.
Honestly, I think I might need to find a new doctor.

Here's how it went down—my mom went to see her doctor... and the doctor was asking about me, you know, school and all that 😳 and then my mom mentioned that lately, I just haven't been able to study... so this doctor recommended Lecitone... and she actually said herself that Lecitone is fantastic and there aren't any better supplements out there for concentration. Unfortunately, I've only taken one single pill. You really have to take them for at least two months before you actually start seeing any results...

By the way, if you ask me, it sounds like you actually have a great doctor. 😉

Sam Hall15 said:well, pain on the left side doesn't mean it isn't appendicitis😁

Look, I get that... 😁

But here’s the thing... my doctor treated me for a urinary tract infection for my entire high school years before it finally turned out to be appendicitis.
I mean, seriously—it didn't occur to anyone that it could actually be the appendix... and then I ended up in the ER... and, uh, the doctor pressed down on one part of my abdomen (specifically the lower left side—even though the appendix is located on the lower right, if a doctor presses the left side at that same level and you feel that sharp, localized pain, it's a huge indicator of appendicitis😁), and I nearly screamed from the sheer agony. 😠
In the end, they had to perform surgery😠 and ever since then, I just can't handle any kind of physical discomfort. 🙏
Wait, what if it’s actually just appendicitis??!?!?

I’ve actually started taking lecithin myself.
Just two capsules right after breakfast—my doctor insisted it was the way to go.

So, can cigarettes actually cause this?

And mine are frequently yellow, too.😕

But what if my liver is actually perfectly fine?

In my case, they pulled the sutures out after about six days.

Chloe Ruiz15 said:I'm reaching out because I really need some advice from people who actually know their stuff when it comes to supplements and pills. Basically, my goal is to drop about 10 pounds and finally get rid of this stubborn belly fat. I’ve been trying to do cardio five times a day—which sounds intense, I know—but honestly, it’s a struggle because after just 10 minutes, my legs feel incredibly weak. So, I was wondering if that L-carnitine liquid supplement actually boosts energy levels (at least, that’s what I gathered from reading an article)? Also, would taking those CLA capsules help me lose weight? It feels like such an uphill battle even though it's not a huge amount to lose.

Thanks so much in advance for any quick replies and for being totally honest with me!!!!!

Just go ask someone at your local Gold's Gym. 🙂

And honestly, this is also worth keeping in mind—definitely not a bad point to consider.
hiddencyclist18 said:I’m thinking about picking up some computer glasses because I’m stuck staring at a monitor all day for work, and honestly, my eyes are starting to kill me, not to mention the constant headaches that follow. I don't actually need a prescription or anything, so I was hoping someone who actually knows their stuff could weigh in here—specifically, does anyone have a clue what these things usually run you?

Look, I don't have a prescription either, but I do wear those blue light filtering glasses—they have some kind of protective coating. To be perfectly blunt? They don't do squat for me. My eyes still feel like they're burning at the end of the shift.

Just go grab some eye drops—you know, the artificial tears.

And seriously, when you're staring at the screen, try to actually blink. Like, a lot. It sounds silly, but it matters.😬

Plus—and my doctor actually hammered this point home—you really need to take a breather every 45 minutes or so. Just five minutes where you cup your palms over your eyes, shut out the world, and think about absolutely nothing.😬

Oh, and watch your hydration too... drink plenty of water. It helps.😬

But even after doing all that—the drops, the breaks, the water—I'm still seeing zero results. Nothing.

....Anyway, just look after your eyes and maybe go ahead and buy the glasses anyway.😬
