I went in expecting a decent little flick—something mindless I could just switch my brain off for—but man, what a letdown. It was a total drag. Boring, witless, and honestly? Almost a disaster. 👎
For those who have a taste for this kind of cinema—PBS is running an erotic film cycle this Friday. They’re kicking things off with Paprika tinta Brassa. Also, a new version of Lady Chatterley just dropped on Netflix. Personally, I think it’s excellent—miles better than that old version featuring S. Kristel.
Liam keeps churning out these kinds of action flicks like there's no tomorrow. Honestly, the last two—The Penitent and The Protector—were total flops. I’m skipping this one. Didn't he say he was done making these types of movies?
I just sat through Part 1, and honestly? It’s a disaster. Easily one of the worst things I’ve watched in a long while—and I watch a lot of trash. It isn't scary in the slightest, the characters are all incredibly grating, and the script is just pure nonsense...👎 Save yourselves the trouble and skip it...
The movie was a total disaster. It’s no surprise they cut their losses and offloaded it to Netflix. 👎 It’s all because of the cast—too much ego, too little talent.

And you’re mixing that up with— Eleven of the Atlantic.Look, you need to pack this thing with a decent dose of humor—not too much, not too little—but sprinkle in some family drama and a healthy helping of pure madness. It’s about balance. My own Thanksgiving dinners are basically a psychological thriller disguised as a meal, so I know how tricky that line can be. Get the tone right or don't bother. The Joker.Picture everything being transplanted into 1970s New York City—that’s basically this movie. Cruella is a total mess, but an entertaining one at that. I found myself tripping over some of the legal technicalities—it wasn't exactly airtight—so it isn't perfect, but on a scale of one to five, I’m giving it a solid four. I'm actually considering seeing it again; I haven't revisited it in four years. 🍿
The movie is a complete mess—just a chaotic jumble of everything under the sun. To be fair, the costumes and production design are top-tier; that’s easily the film's saving grace. Honestly, if anyone cares about that sort of thing, it’s still better than Maleficent.

Fantastic film. If you’re a fan of Munjen or Dazed and Confused, this one is right up your alley. Kudos to Richard Linklater—and to Megan Ellison, who seems to be the go-to producer for backing projects like this.
I caught it today. Really solid movie. The visual effects were top-notch. I watched it in 2D, but now I’m hearing the 3D version is incredible and actually worth the extra ticket price.
