Honestly, countries and their people can be such a mess... Canadians really know how to craft a movie, write a book, or compose a song centered around dark humor... but they never seem to produce anything truly brilliant for their own benefit.
What exactly would be pathetic about that? Wouldn't you offer condolences to someone you actually know if their parent—or anyone else—passed away right in front of you?
Otherwise, this film is an absolute masterpiece—it’s incredibly powerful—and honestly, anyone who skips it is making a massive mistake!
Honestly, the movie wasn't all that—plus, she already showed off her assets in a previous film, so I'm feeling pretty let down... I'm just mourning the loss of those two CDs I gave them, only to have them get fried...
Now, The Green Mile could have actually worked if they wanted it to, but once you throw in that goofy Tom Hanks, the whole plot just becomes incredibly idiotic—the casting alone makes the entire thing feel cheap...
The Shining... okay, that's a great film, but only if you've decided to enter a deep hibernation for like two or three months, or maybe if you're looking to experience what it feels like to wake up from a coma... man, people, this movie is three hours long; anyone who sits through it in one go deserves a massive medal from the highest office in the land... it's just pure exhaustion, featuring one single scene that’s absolutely terrifying... pathetic...
King's adaptations aren't always total disasters—(Shawshank, Misery, Carrie)—but they don't come anywhere close to the books...
This movie is absolute darkness—the way the scenes and characters are seamlessly woven together is nothing short of a masterpiece... The sequence of events teeters right on the edge of absurdity throughout the entire film, yet it never loses its grip on reality for even a second... Truly brilliant!
ljenčugo, instead of just hanging out on these forums, you might want to actually sit down and brush up on your English—or even pick up some French while you're at it, if you ask me.

Gross???? Where are you coming from? Sure, there might be some intense scenes or a bit of "extreme violence," but it isn't gross—it's actually quite captivating... besides, Stanley Kubrick is a master at building atmosphere, and he doesn't rely on cheap, revolting special effects just to shock the audience 👍 👍
I haven't actually sat down to watch the movie yet, but I did read about this one specific gag from the film that I find absolutely hilarious...
So, basically, God reaches out to Jim Carrey via his pager—the "divine number" flashes right there on the screen. Now, we all know how Hollywood usually plays it safe by using those fake 555 numbers you see in every sitcom, but in this instance, they accidentally used a real, functioning phone number. People went absolutely wild—they started calling the number non-stop for days, only to realize it was actually the line for a local radio station! Consequently, the DJs were accidentally broadcasting people's frantic messages meant for God over the airwaves... (Americans can be so incredibly eccentric—honestly, it’s a little bit unhinged...)
Sandler deserves a face full of eggs—straight up. Jean-Claude Van Damme - Like dinosaur eggs being launched from a minigun directly at the groin. Jennifer Lopez - Just pelt her with eggs until she finally gives up the ghost. Rowan Atkinson - Bombard him with eggs—purely because he went off to film those Hollywood trash flicks. Drew Barrymore - She’s honestly too clumsy to even bother; I’ll just let her accidentally egg herself in the jaw.
It’s a total cinematic masterpiece—Malkovich really takes his time with the pacing, but man, that ending is absolutely legendary... A brilliant piece of work...
The opening film sequence of se7en is just... wow... And honestly, American Beauty isn't half bad either... I mean, Fight Club is definitely worth a watch too...
