Brian Moore67 said:Oh man, I absolutely live for the terrible logic in this movie. Like, the whole idea that if you film someone, they end up looking like they're only 10 cm tall on TV, so when Wonka invents teleportation via television, he has to send through a massive piece of chocolate just so it looks like a normal size once it arrives. Every other sentence is some ridiculous thing like that.
But that logic actually comes straight from the book anyway 😍

I think I could take out a fish without any trouble, though I might shed a tear or two over those glassy little eyes, but that's about it. 😢 I eat fish. I love fish. Fish are terrified of me.
Well, obviously you can't do it when you're calling it Milka! 🙄 😬 That isn't a Milka! That's a Cow swinging its tail at you! And that thing in the ocean isn't just some fish, it's little Nemo himself. You monster!!! 😛
Honestly, I’m a little shaken up by this photo 😢. I don't think I can ever watch a movie on TV again without feeling a bit unsettled. I'll always be wondering what's actually happening just an inch to the left or right of the frame 😢 . But honestly, regardless of that, I've always been the type who 😬 much prefers catching movies at the theater. It’s just such a complete experience (and wow, that phrase feels way more intense now that I say it!). Like dustyscout53 says—there's no pausing and no fast-forwarding; you just lock in and live through the whole story exactly how it was meant to be felt. I just love being immersed like that! The only bummer is that I don't exactly have a mountain of cash to go see every single thing I want on the big screen. 🙄
From what I understand about the Juilliard School (if that’s the one you're asking about), they don't really offer part-time or external study programs.
Last year, they only accepted maybe 4 (or perhaps 6 🤔) absolute geniuses into the directing program.
You might be able to dig up some basic info regarding the entrance exams on www.juilliard.edu, but honestly, you'd be much better off reaching out to someone who actually survived that legendary audition process for some real, boots-on-the-ground advice.
The movie was such a total rollercoaster for me. One second I'm cracking up at a hilarious moment, and the next, I'm hit with this wave of pure sentimentality. Honestly, what was the point of all that crying near the end over "but it's Christmas?" 🙄 The only reason they'd do that is if they didn't want to show that he had completely and utterly lost his mind. Otherwise 🙏
hahaha I absolutely loved the movie! Honestly, I didn't grasp a single thing happening from the very beginning, but I just sat there enjoying the special effects—feeling my seat shake every time something exploded and getting jolted at every cut while horses charged toward me and giant heads attacked! Lancelot 😍is a total legend 😍
Overall, I thought the movie was pretty decent. I haven't actually seen the original, so I can't really make a comparison, but honestly, I think 28 Days Later had a better sense of suspense. The soundtrack throughout the whole thing was absolutely wild, though! And I really loved how it ended.
I don't know if it was just me, but it felt like they weren't being very careful with the zombies. I swear I saw the same guy get run over by a truck twice, and then he still managed to get shot in the head right after! 🤣
In my opinion, a teaser trailer is only successful if it manages to capture the entire vibe of the movie in about 30 seconds—just enough to hook you and make you actually want to go see it—and then, crucially, the movie itself has to actually deliver on that promise.
But nowadays, they design them so that every single one looks "great," only for you to show up at the AMC theater and walk away with nothing but disappointment and zero substance. 🙂 🙄
