Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Hopefully it won't make me nauseous or anything? I guess my stomach is just always a bit sensitive during those first few days after opening a new pack of meds...
So, I’m heading out on a ski trip with my family this January, and since I don't actually ski, I have this little ritual where I hit the pool every single morning.
Now I just realized my period is scheduled to hit right during that trip. I'm currently on Triquilar, and usually, things last about three or four days. I was wondering, if I don't take a break from the pills—like, if I just jump straight into a new pack instead of stopping—will I skip that month entirely? And then would it just come back once I finish the second pack?
Looking back at what I've watched lately, the opening shot of Walk the Line was just incredible. It blends so perfectly with that intro music... though, I guess it all kicks off in prison anyway...
Elektricni orgazam, Videosex, Disciplina Kičma, EKV
I know there’s this Elena Miro line in Italy that does all those numbers above 46, and they always have such trendy little things. I think I read somewhere recently that they opened—or maybe they're about to open?—a shop in NYC... If anyone from the city knows anything, let me know.
Loacker wafers (especially those with that specific chocolate), Hershey's breakfast wafers, Hershey's nougat wafers, some Turkish delight, tea biscuits, and maybe even those Leibniz Petit Beurre with chocolate.
Finally watched it with my son. I’ve been bugging him about this movie for months, but it just never seemed to show up on the schedule... so we just recorded it ourselves so we could finally get through the material.
I had something pretty similar happen to me this month. I’ve been on unknown for years now, and I’m usually super strict about it—I take my pill at the exact same time every single day, no exceptions.
Then, after just a week into a new pack, I realized I’d actually missed two days. I went right back to my regular routine immediately after noticing, but then a few days later, I started bleeding. It felt just like my actual period, even though I’d already had one two weeks ago. It lasted about three or four days, basically just like a real period would.
Now I’m honestly just confused. I have no clue when my next one is supposed to show up. Is it 28 days from that last period two weeks ago, or am I counting 28 days from this random bleeding that just happened? And, I guess, is my protection even reliable right now?
unknown, sorry for crashing your thread, but I just joined a couple of days ago and haven't really caught up yet, so I'm reading through your post and adding my two cents... maybe someone here can actually explain what's going on...👋
My company throws these annual events, so why not show up? I mean, I definitely wouldn't want some random person coming at me while I'm out on the slopes...
(honestly, I can't even remember if I actually got the shot or what)
I took my son (who's 5 and a half) to see it, and we were both totally floored. We'd actually already read the book together, so I didn't have to sit there translating everything or explaining the plot as we went. To be honest, I had a slightly different vision for Willy Wonka in my head—I pictured him as this older guy, maybe a kind-hearted eccentric type—but Johnny Depp brings this weird, bizarre dimension to the role that I wasn't expecting. I also imagined the Oompa-Loompas differently, but the fact that this one guy plays all of them? That was honestly such a killer move. It worked so well for me.
So, last year I finally went with the -4.5 prescription lenses—they're actually a bit thinner than the old ones, I think they cost me about $167 more. Honestly? I'm super happy with them.
Man, I was watching this movie on TV the other day... what an absolute disaster. They actually had Timothy Dalton playing some dictator. Such a weird choice.😕
I don't think it was set in Canada or anything, I think that fictional (Eastern European?) country had some other name... or maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention...😁
Betty Rivera14, honestly, making Nescafé with water from Atlanta tastes completely different than just using regular tap water. I’m not saying this to be difficult or picky—though I get why you might think that based on how you asked—but I noticed a massive difference the very first time I tried it.
My husband drinks a ton of green tea, and even he says the flavor is way smoother this way. I used to hate green tea, but now? I actually find myself grabbing a cup every now and then.
Plus, the best part is I don't have to deal with scrubbing limescale out of my kettle anymore. It just... doesn't build up. At all.
I'd really love to hear what other people using Atlanta think. Do you guys notice the difference too?
Seattle actually has pretty decent water straight from the tap. But I always run it through my Brita filter first, then it’s perfect. Especially if I'm making a Nescafé or some green tea...
Honestly, my experience with those folks over at UnitedHealth Group was totally fine (though they’ve moved over to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Tucson now). I had a wisdom tooth pulled and two granulomas dealt with, and it was honestly great. I think they still take Medicare, too.
When my kid was around three, he was dealing with some low iron issues. I ended up giving him this Green Steel syrup (made by Specchiasol) which is basically just extracts from beet, spinach, and other veggies. It actually tastes pretty good, and you can just pick it up at a local health food store. It didn't mess with his stomach or anything, and thankfully, it didn't ruin his teeth either. I also made sure to prep plenty of horse meat for him—even making stews. I'm talking horse meat meatballs served with sides of spinach, chard, or kale. Plus, dried apricots, prunes, dark chocolate, and some Fruit King berry juice fortified with iron...
I guess that’s why I usually prefer hitting up a book first. Maybe I'll catch the movie later, but honestly, not always. I’ll definitely give this one a watch, though—mostly just because Colin Firth is in it.🙂
Finished the book a few days ago, so now I'm just waiting on the DVD to arrive so I can finally watch it... I think 👍 is great, and Scarlett does such an amazing job playing Gretchen. From what I saw in the trailers, it looks really solid—they seem to have captured the atmosphere of the Vermeer era and his paintings perfectly...
Chloe Wells29 said:I usually just grab a tiny bit of bread—maybe a slice of sourdough or some ciabatta, black or white, whatever—but since they were out of the good stuff at the local grocery store the other day, my grandma tried to push this Mavrovič stuff on me. It’s pricey, too. I think I paid almost a fortune for it. $2.75 Just a tiny little bite, and honestly, it completely fell apart on me. And don't even get me started on the taste—aside from the fact that I can't stand seeded bread to begin with, the thing was basically inedible by the next day. Never again!!
There’s no way that was Mavrovič's bread. I mean, seriously, his stuff stays perfectly fine in a container for like three days straight. It doesn't crumble to pieces, it doesn't smell weird, and by day three, it's still totally good to eat. His ciabattas are incredible—especially that dark, almost black one. Honestly, I don't bother with any other bread anymore, and white bread isn't even on my radar. Well, except maybe that homemade stuff from George's restaurant...😛
