At the very beginning, Michael Corleone shows absolutely no interest in the mafia business—he even claims, "That's my family, not me"—yet he undergoes this incredibly abrupt shift in perspective and dives headfirst into the family "business." I find his decision to volunteer for that double assassination particularly jarring. It feels as though his transformation occurred far too rapidly, lacking a sufficient sequence of events to justify such a pivot. Does anyone else share this impression? I suppose the wounding of his father, Don Vito, could serve as the catalyst and the primary motivation, but even so...
If someone were to shoot an elderly person right in front of us on a street in Chicago, wouldn't we all likely undergo a sudden transformation ourselves? 😛
There is a distinct lack of coverage regarding them here, which I find frankly unjustified... They are a truly magnificent band. It is true that their quality has dipped somewhat over the years, yet they possess an incredibly prolific history! I highly recommend them!

And if one takes into account that this was all drafted within a mere twenty-day window—specifically designed to provide the grounds for a court to dismantle Mission entirely—does that not make the achievement even more impressive? Since I have such a deep appreciation for EBM, it follows naturally that I also hold a profound affinity for Sisterhood... Even though the Sisters of Mercy are miles ahead of everyone else...
🙂
I fail to see what exactly was so remarkable about that, but fine—enjoy yourself if you must!👋
Cripple says: It is perfectly natural for most musicians to focus on their craft and earn a living from it. However, there is a profound distinction between an artist who composes a song as a genuine reflection of their soul—sharing their deepest emotions with the world—and someone who churns out a "hit" solely for the purpose of lining their pockets. In the latter case, there isn't even a trace of true art to be found. Unfortunately, we can all see exactly what is happening here; it is simply a matter of whether certain people choose to acknowledge it or look the other way.[/QUO
Look... the mainstream artists in this country are nothing more than tradespeople... they are mere contractors... not artists... You might just have to accept that reality.

Listen, if we're talking about a change of scenery, even Wichita could be alright...😬

Look, man, you are starting to get a bit tiresome with this obsessive fixation on Zeppelin... why don't you just take a breath? Don't get me wrong, they are great, but at some point, you have to stop preaching about them to everyone else.
Just when Great Pretender finally fades into obscurity, here you come popping up again!!!😛

Honestly, when these high-brow magazines put together rankings like this, isn't it obvious their only actual goal is to sell, sell, and sell more copies? Whatever. No one is going to convince me that "Smells Like Teen Spirit" is some kind of timeless masterpiece.

Personally, I find the song to be utterly desperate, and quite frankly, it’s absolute garbage...
I need you, Mary, from the earth to the heavens.......
It honestly drives me up the wall how these damn rankings always seem to be absolutely crawling with Brits, which is completely and utterly unjustified!!!! Look at Oasis, for instance. Are we really supposed to believe they’re a band that actually managed to write more than three of the top 100 songs ever? 👎
Quote : Originally posted by crimsonmason Erp...well, looking back on it, I realized I don't actually own that one "Sisterhood" album... does anyone here happen to have it? 😕
The album is actually titled Gift, while Sisterhood was merely the band's name... which served as a transitional moniker after the group split into two separate factions!
Tracklist: Jihad Colours Giving ground
Finland red, Egypt white Rain from heaven
By the way, it's a mediocre album... you aren't missing much at all. 👎 ....I only bought it because, back in those old days, I used to collect everything they released, regardless of how poor the quality might be.... 🙄

I have this overwhelming urge to go... Every single morning, I follow my routine—brushing my teeth, staring at my reflection, washing my face—and yet, somehow, I fail to notice the relentless march of aging. But when I finally witness what remains of the Sisters of Mercy😲... I suspect I will suffer a profound temporal shock... and perhaps then, I will truly grasp just how much I have aged and lost my edge... just as they certainly have too.👎
I have absolutely no patience for this endless parade of technical metal guitar masturbation....The only legitimate hard rock bends worth mentioning were those delivered by Led Zeppelin...And yet, I see certain idiots attempting to categorize them as metal....Now, that is the absolute truth!
