Quiz: Which Disney Villain Are You? in Movies ·
You're Jafar from Aladdin! It sounds like you might have dealt with some serious bullying growing up, which explains why you've developed this intense craving for power. You’re incredibly cunning and surprisingly charismatic—you really know how to work a room and charm anyone you meet. Honestly, though, it feels like you won't find any peace until you've got total, absolute control over every single thing. You have this magnetic influence over people that makes it way too easy for them to follow your lead.

Cool, so yes, I'm just an insecure control freak 😂

Give me ninety minutes to polish this up and fix the edits. Everything else is pretty much spot on. 🙂
redlynx11 & Linda Kim30: honestly, you all seriously need to enroll in a masterclass titled "How to Spot an Internet Troll While Simultaneously Developing a Sense of Humor" 😛
Brandon Kim96 said:I don't know about you guys, but based on every movie I've ever seen, those psychos—you know, the ones who head out the door right before they go on a massive rampage, hunting people down just to torture them, slice them up, or straight-up eat them—they’re always listening to classical music, like Mozart, Bach, and all that stuff. So, tell me, is it even remotely healthy to be listening to that kind of thing? ☕

Hmm, not bad. I'll give you a 6/10 for the trolling attempt. 😁

And why hasn't anyone brought up Wagner? 😕 Any cinematic psychopath with a shred of self-respect absolutely has to have Wagner playing in the background. 🙂

Honestly, screenwriters are just totally out of touch. A real psycho would be blasting Darkthrone, Mayhem, or Burzum Quote. 🙂 🙂

Hmm... what exactly is this supposed to be inspiring in you? 🤔 😬
What are you reading on the toilet? in Miscellaneous ·
Books? No way, I need a much more comfortable and laid-back setting for something like that 🙂

I’ll stick to magazines, newspapers, or even those little declarations printed on shampoo bottles or detergent boxes—you know how it is. Right now, I’m actually working my way through the latest issue of 😬Bug

Hey mods in Forum Help! ·
Honestly, if you're looking for quick answers, just shoot a DM to the Amtrak mods or one of the admins instead of starting a whole new thread here. It’s way faster, trust me. 🤷
Kenneth Peterson5 said:I’ve been scrolling through the last seven posts trying to find even one single constructive suggestion to actually make this Reddit better, but honestly? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Maybe I’m just losing my mind. 🤷

Look, I’m telling you, crimsonhound80 would seriously level up the whole quality of the Teens subforum, and honestly, I don't even get why you're struggling to wrap your head around that. It's pretty straightforward. 🤷

Look, I already brought this up during the moderator meeting a couple of weeks back, 😈 😂

Is it just me, or does anyone else actually find it normal to see signatures stretching out across eleven whole lines? Like, seriously, does anyone genuinely not mind that kind of mess? 🤷 😁

boldhound8 said:So you're gonna report someone's thread, but then you have the nerve to go public with it, acting all high and mighty about "justice and chivalry"? You're just flooding the thread with nonsense and basically begging to get banned. Real classy move.😁

Man, you’re just gonna keep going in circles with him, repeating the same old blah blah blah over and over again... P.S. Keep acting like this and I’m reporting you.☕"So, you're waiting until you push him to the absolute breaking point? Like, you won't stop until he's so triggered he sends you straight to HR at 3 PM, giving you a legitimate, rock-solid reason to file that report?😁

Look, when you crunch the numbers and look at the big picture, there’s only one logical way to handle this. You just use the report feature for exactly what it was designed for. One click, no drama, no long-winded debates, and no formal announcements needed. If you’re really that obsessed with being some kind of "knight in shining armor," then just shoot someone a private message and be done with it. It's not rocket science.🙂

I am signing off on this whole post with a massive thumbs up. 🙏 👍

And don't even get me started on the even more ridiculous scenarios where users spend all their energy threatening each other with reports and bickering over who is breaking which rule, while both sides end up spamming the board like crazy without either person actually following through with an official report. 🙄 I dealt with something exactly like that recently; we ended up clogging up several pages of conversation that way, and not a single actual report ever materialized. 🤷

Jeremy Diaz9 said:Maybe appoint someone specifically to handle oversight—not necessarily to process the grievances themselves, but to monitor them.
By tracking the complaints filed against moderators, this person could have the authority to remove a moderator from their position, or at least formally recommend it to the higher-ups...
The fundamental requirement would be that they aren't part of any moderator cliques, though I suppose you guys would probably deny that such factions even exist.
If you’re asking for a name, there is one moderator who is more than capable of handling this.
They're young, incredibly fair, knows all your flaws, and wouldn't just look the other way when a moderator makes a mistake.
But I won't say who, because under these specific circumstances, I'm certain they wouldn't accept the role anyway...
By the way, looking at how you track complaints, it's obvious that custom user Titl govnar is being targeted again, and you all know it, yet it seems like nobody really cares.
And honestly, that’s where your constant criticism comes from.
Do you realize what this kind of behavior leads to?
It leads to a certain number of people becoming perpetually frustrated, having to be incredibly loud and persistent just until a moderator finally loses their cool and quits.
And I wonder why that happens?
But then again, that tactic doesn't work on the thick-skinned types, like the second-in-command or the elders. It fails because any user who complains gets labeled as some sort of revolutionary, so no one takes them seriously, and they often end up catching a ban in the process...
That's pretty much it.
Merry Christmas!

Well, yeah. Groundbreaking stuff. Truly revolutionary thinking right there. 🙂

hollowtrucker77 already keeps an eye on all the user complaints here. Plus, the admins are watching too. The admins have the ultimate authority to kick a moderator loose, and honestly, we've actually seen moderators get replaced because of certain complaints before. Personally, I think the system works just fine. 🙂

There was a thread floating around about ten months ago that touched on something similar, though nobody actually put their names on it, and honestly, I’m more interested in where things stand right this second. So, here we are, starting a fresh one. 🙂

I didn't bother adding an option to the poll for people who just want to report signatures, because frankly, I can't even wrap my head around why anyone would do that anyway. 😬

Anyway, let's hear it. Lay it all out there. 😛

Sorry, buddy—just realized you were a guy. I totally pegged you as a girl since you've got a little kitty on your avatar😘

You definitely won't be the first to say that, and you certainly won't be the last.😂

I’m honestly thinking we should just hit everyone with a preemptive permaban if they even so much as glance at 🙂 the wrong way or try to cause trouble in any capacity whatsoever ☕
Kenneth Peterson5 said:Alright, here’s a constructive proposal for ya.

I’m suggesting that every three months, we rotate moderators on each sub-forum through a vote involving both users and mods. And who gets to vote on a specific sub-forum? Here's the deal:

Any user registered on that sub-forum who has started at least one thread that hit at least 20 replies and over 2,000 views.
(And if anyone’s wondering why people with 500 or even 1,000 posts can't vote if they haven't started a thread on that specific sub-forum—it's simple. They haven't shown they actually care or have the ability to kick off an interesting discussion, which would actually add value to the boards they're trying to influence.)

If at least 30% of the eligible voters aren't happy with how the current mod is doing, then that mod is out.
The users who voted against the current mod can suggest replacements, and we hold a poll to pick the new one. Everyone on that board who has started at least one thread with at least 15 participants and 1,000 views gets to vote in that poll.

Then, we run the whole process again in three months.

That’s how you actually improve the quality of moderation (and the boards themselves)—by having people step up to help out rather than just acting like little bosses.

The reality is, all that would do is trigger a state of total, unmitigated chaos where there’s zero continuity and absolutely no sense of order left.

With a setup like that, you'd basically just have idiots picking out other idiots, and then those same idiots would be tearing down moderators over every single tiny, insignificant thing.

That really just depends on which lady from the thread you’re talking about. 😛

Maybe you were busy hoarding all those screenshots from threads where girls posting photos at 330 and 285 pounds are basically asking if anyone can actually spot the difference. 🤷 Either shoot me a DM with a full breakdown, or I’m going to start leaking all my user notes for free just to see the chaos unfold. 😈

redmarlin3 said:Can anything actually compete with those thirst-trap photos of the Reddit moderator’s physique? Seriously, I mean it. 🤷

So, someone's actually asking for spicy photos of a Reddit moderator? Honestly, you have to love the sheer randomness of the internet sometimes. It’s like, we’re all hanging out here, discussing everything from politics to how to fix a leaky faucet, and then suddenly—boom—someone wants to see the mod's curves. I mean, I get the curiosity, really I do; humans are wired to be nosy, and there's always that little itch to peek behind the curtain, but let's be real, looking for "sauce" on a forum like this is a bit of a wild goose chase. It’s like walking into a library and asking the librarian for their swimsuit catalog—it's just not how the system is built to function, you know? Expecting a moderator to be posting thirst traps while they're busy policing the comment sections is a bit of a stretch, even for the wildest corners of the web. 🤷

If you actually bother to look at the user notes on this forum, you’ll see they document absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s like a digital dossier where they’ve tracked every single person’s whereabouts back in 1971 or 1991, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they knew exactly what you had for breakfast on December 7th, 2008. These forum profile notes are basically the most exhaustive intelligence files in the entire country, maybe even further afield. ☕
