A split-level center for the Americans?! Is there anything more ridiculous?

🤣

There’s nothing stupider, except maybe laughing at yourself.

frozentinker432 said:you know what? shame on all of you. absolute shame. what kind of pathetic nation is this? there isn't another group of people on this planet who devalue themselves more, or who are more hypocritical and cowardly than us. honestly, screw you all, I need to swear because I’m about to snap. I CANNOT STAND LIVING AMONG THESE PEOPLE—these hypocrites who preach about "humanity" and "human rights." did a Srbin save your life? did a Srbin defend your home from being leveled? was a Srbin mother to you or did a Srbin land protect you? out of basic respect for this miserable country that gave you life, shouldn't you at least stand up and say you're proud to be an American/American? who is a Srbin to you that you'd defend them while spitting on your own people—the ones who died or are dying just a few miles away from you? and yet, you puff out your chests with these grand humanist ideas. your heads are filled with nothing but useless notions of forgiveness and love, yet you can't find it for someone who might have lost their cool and said a few harsh things about the people who burned our towns and killed our children fifteen years ago? you're garbage. that's what you are. I won't pretend to be civilized or use polite language; I'll just give hypocrisy right back to the hypocrites. it's sickening that I'm barely seventeen and it hurts this much just to look at this wreckage. this nation I live in... it hurts terribly. it's so clearly the disaster we've been dragging behind us for centuries—the misery and disgrace of a cowardly, traitorous people. Hey, you "intellectuals" of America, explain this to me: why are the traitors in the ninth circle of hell? screw this and screw a life where you don't even know which people you actually belong to. shame on all of you, you ungrateful, heartless losers.
I would love to see how you'd act if they suddenly decided to expand again (and where would they stop? if it were up to me, they'd pick up rifles tomorrow). I'd love to witness your liberalism then, your philosophy of equality, your wonderful merciful spirit. I'd love to see how much you'd kiss their hairy, stinking asses before they scramble your brains, given how "great" and "magnanimous" you all are.
Idiots.

we don't deserve this paradise we live in. we don't deserve anything we have. frankly, we deserve to have it all taken from us, because whoever ends up holding this country will appreciate it far more than we ever did.

I apologize for the caps lock and the minor nervous breakdown on a forum, which probably isn't the best place to vent, and I apologize for the lack of academic or "cultured" language in my post; emotions simply took over. Thank Bog I still have them left in me.

as we discussed, a total nonsense post like this needs to be brought up again every single page.

Krvnik said:It’s moving, sure, just not in the way you described.

You went in trying to convince them by telling them exactly what they didn't want to hear.
All you did was build up resistance.

You have to tell them what they actually want to hear.
And stop acting against the Church from the outside; work within its framework instead.

Ever heard of Martin Luther?
He set up a general store right on church land, and the Church wanted it back.

So he played the victim.
"I'd give it back, but only after you people change. As a priest, I suggest we do this next..."
Then he flipped from defense to offense. Instead of defending himself, he attacked the Church, claiming they were the ones at fault and that he wasn't some thief stealing church property.
Eventually, once he gathered enough followers among Catholics (and let's be honest, finding an American who opposes the church hierarchy or doubts papal infallibility isn't exactly a struggle), he made a clean break and kept his little shop.
But then Walmart moved into town and offered him a deal, but that's a different story altogether.
Bottom line: present yourself as a believer who wants to reform the Church.
Don't act like an infidel working openly against Mother Church.

For example: don't hand kids Hot Sauce; just teach them a slightly different catechism.

That idiot Martin lived in a world without ADSL, P2P sharing, "click here to enlarge your penis" spam, or eBay. The guy was alright, honestly.

Nowadays, you can manipulate the youth far too easily. I'm a patient man, and if I win over just one, my mission will be a success... 😈

WeM said:he’d basically be offering up state-owned or church land that he doesn't even own just to make a deal!

You managed to piss off everyone from the old guard to the radicals... even the historical heavyweights wouldn't buy this.

Do you—or rather, do any of you—actually have anything of your own to put on the table? Not that anyone here could offer anything honest.

Just pure, unadulterated targeting, if you ask me.

Look, WeM, stop trying to spin this for me. I went through the entire history of the Djedovina estate just a few weeks ago, looking at it from every possible angle. It was pretty clear that once the money starts moving, things fall apart fast. So, spare me the lecture about selling stuff that isn't yours. This is America, buddy. Around here, there's an old saying: "smart enough to get by, dumb enough to stay." 😁 You know how those two guys from the Midwest were always supposedly "brilliant"... 😁 Just a joke.

Is it happening? Is it actually happening? Honestly, what an absolute joke.

Oh, we certainly are. In the middle of hellfire, no less. 😈 Everything’s going up in flames. Just watch.

Whatever said:Two offspring? Sure, Bryan Martin31, you make it sound like you're just pumping them out on an assembly line... 😁

Just so we're being clear here, we're talking about an egg donor and the resulting product of fertilization.

I’ve been there. Left with a heavy heart. And honestly? Not even going to lie, I didn't miss it much... just glad to be away from that Ludwig van Beethoven. And to live somewhere where Pit Bulls don't grow on trees.

WeM said:they need it, whereas I thought you’d have a thousand other problems first, so maybe... I'll just buy up all that land

Not a thousand. Just one. And it’s a massive one. But it’s worth a thousand problems.
Where am I supposed to go? What am I meant to do with these two losers of mine? Should I call up a charity and ask them to take me off their hands?

Or!

Or should I reach out to a journalist to pitch a story? Something like, "How to stop the next crusade, or who will occupy the 24,687 new churches in downtown Chicago after the Catholic Church kicks all 300,000 John Does off their ancestral lands?"

And look at her—religious fanatics are actually threatening her life.
If her noble intentions don't pan out, do you have any ideas on how we can shut down the Church's territorial claims over sacred Chicago soil?

Look, for a decent fee, we’re even willing to hand over a huge chunk of land near the suburbs to you (assuming the local mayor doesn't remember it first...). But let's make the content fun and twisted. Let the youth break free from spiritual and physical restraints... honestly, what a modern-day Sodom. Brothels, casinos, condom factories, GOP satellite offices, a wellness center run by Vesna Skare or Djurdje Adlesic... let those fat cats at the cathedral eat themselves with envy. 😈

Tried it. Doesn't work. Playing Manson tapes, quoting the filthiest bits from the Communist Manifesto, sending nasty texts to some mega-celebrity socialite... nothing.

Pointless. Handed out archives of "hot takes" to kids coming home from Sunday school, but the kids still just want to go out and hook up. Honestly? It seems the establishment managed to scare them off instead.

Good grief. This is just... well, maybe I can talk the crew into doing a couple of "beer runs"... then they'll give me another 28 years to pay off my mortgage... and you know how the Church views time... to them, it passes like a snack (it took them half a millennium to "free" Galileo, after all!), but for me, it might give me enough points to move to New Zealand... where people like me are treated like pure gold!

So far, I've just been focusing on the graffiti—you know, the usual stuff like "churches into museums," "rainbow-loving liberals," "Hitler Youth—ora pro nobis!" and all that nonsense...😈

Got any ideas for a more effective approach?

Look, there’s basically zero actual news coming from this side of the fence. All we get are these endless stories about people with darker skin and jet-black hair...
But wait—TA-DAAAAM!—here comes Ludwig van Beethoven. A true connoisseur of heavy metal and extreme right-wing rallies! 🙏

Bryan Martin31 said:And here I am, unlucky, thinking I actually owned a little plot of land... turns out I've just been living on government property this whole time.

Actually, no. Not government. Church property. But in this country, does it even matter? It's basically the same thing.

Did you hear about that woman just half a mile away? She’s fighting tooth and nail just to stop some church from building yet another sanctuary on a beautiful local playground. I think it's their 2,358th building in Chicago alone. She even got death threats a few months back... smells like corruption to me. Honestly, if there isn't some shadowy hand pulling the strings, I don't know what is.😬

So, what am I supposed to do? Stand on my porch and try to block these religious zealots myself? Maybe if more people actually gave a damn. But where am I in all this? I'm against this, and I'm against that too.

Is anyone else ready to stand up and tell the church to stay off our neighborhoods?

Are you kidding me? Seriously? How does this even happen? What kind of absolute disaster are we looking at here?
In English? Seriously?
So, what? I'm just supposed to stand here and take it?

Do you even have any idea what kind of Catholic fundamentalists are living in North Jersey? Seriously, look at someone like John Doe... 😁

Hey everyone! Look, I’m clueless and out of the loop, but apparently, I just found out I’ve been living on church property this whole time!

And when the church actually decides they owe us something? There aren't any structures in place—flawed ones at that—to actually make it happen. It’s all just big shots in fancy suits making grand promises and swearing up and down that folks in Chicago don't want anything from them!

I guess I deserve it, though, for leaving behind that wonderful old homeland of hardworking, honest people in rural Nebraska. 😢

Believe it or not, Miljenko Jergović was actually the first one to report on this.

Let me repeat that once more for the uninitiated:

For several years running now, Thompson's CDs have been the best-selling American souvenir. 😎

Dutch people... honestly, I'm not surprised... after everything they've been through with drugs, easy or hard, even Mozart wouldn't be worthy of a single Tom Jones track in their eyes...

ethno... 🤣 😁 👍 😬

Man, if I had the cash... I'd buy up the entire collection of those top-selling souvenirs in America and gift them to some newly discovered tribe in Sumatra... just to bury any memory of that flag-waving ethno music in the States...

rev, don't get too worked up, you're still young. 😉

And Tom won't last much longer either. It’ll be a second marriage, or he'll convince himself he's the father of his own kids, or maybe he's masking some latent homosexuality (you know being gay is basically a death sentence for an ultra-conservative guy like him), or maybe it's because his mother is from the wrong side of the border... I can only imagine what goes through his head when he gets home, stares at the ceiling, and wonders if he should just jump under a train or keep on poisoning the innocent American youth... 😁

Not quite. Cabbage is for conservatives. As for those extremist factions on both sides? They're just bottom-of-the-barrel trash.

I don't know... they're both just different flavors of the same garbage.
