Still haven't heard anything new regarding the actual movie, aside from what was posted on Rotten Tomatoes: The movie is essentially a revamp, and that’s about all we know for sure. Word is it’ll feel similar to the first one, but they’re finally going in the direction they originally intended—which means things are getting pretty dark.
If they stick to the vibe of the original, I think we're in good shape. Honestly, though, hearing that they're leaning into a darker tone than the first one? That's a massive plus in my book.
I thought the movie was pretty decent overall—just a fun, breezy adventure that hits all those classic Marvel beats you'd expect. The ending felt a little bit ironic to me, though.
I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I've been thinking about that movie again. It’s one of those things that just sticks in your head, you know? Just a random thought popping up while I was grabbing coffee this morning. Anyway, what do you guys think? kaže: They’re even letting us catch a whiff of the scent. 👍
So, what happens if one of the actors lets one rip and you actually catch a whiff of it? 😁 Ali 4 D isn't really what they're making it out to be. They keep pushing this "Aromascope" thing, but honestly, those scents have absolutely nothing to do with how that kind of technology actually works. It feels like a total gimmick. So, I was thinking about those 4D theaters they have out there now. It’s basically just your seat shaking and jolting around to match whatever crazy stuff is happening on screen, combined with 3D—kind of like being strapped into a roller coaster at Six Flags. Pretty wild when you think about it. So, you're looking at both physical sensation and optical feedback. Basically, it’s that combo of feeling it and seeing it happen right in front of you.
Are you hunting for this stuff through Google or just hitting up some torrent sites? The thing is, most of this software really needs you to actually sign up for an account if you want it to function properly. Otherwise, if you’re just messing around with those free trials or unregistered versions, they usually cap you out—you'll barely get through 30% or maybe even 50% of a file before it cuts you off.
So you couldn't even get it untangled after taking the wheel off? Keep at it, man. You’ve gotta make it happen. It shouldn't be that hard to unknot once you get in there—just don't be afraid to put some muscle into it.
I ran into the exact same headache once, though that was back when I was riding those cheap bikes from Walmart ($167—honestly, I have no idea why I went with the budget ones). Anyway, try widening that loop (the "knot") just a bit so it’s larger; that should help loosen things up. Before you do that, though, slide the rear derailleur—you know, the tensioner—forward to give the chain some extra slack. If that doesn't do the trick, maybe pull the wheel off and try widening that knot again. Since everything is squeezed so tight right now, you basically need to create some breathing room between the links.
What would happen if I tried to mess with my (old) Signature Permissions right now?
Everything would just go south, wouldn't it?
I actually tried changing my signature once, but since everything was locked down, my only choice was to leave it alone or switch to some basic thing with standard letters. If you try to manually type in the codes otherwise, it won't let you save.
Btw, looking from over here, your signature looks like some crazy math equation.
I think there’s a thread somewhere on here—maybe even under a title like "Stylish"—that lays out all the steps if you want to mess with the code yourself and get the colors looking exactly how you want them.
Since we’re talking about PowerPoint, I actually have a quick question about a specific file I'm working on. Honestly, I don't really use these kinds of Viewers much, so I'm a bit out of the loop here, but does anyone know how I can "convert" a file from the old .ppt format over to .pptx?
Man, seriously... these April Fools' Day jokes are getting so forced it's actually ridiculous.🙄 I don't get how people in Hollywood can mess around like that regarding new movies. There are fans out there constantly following every update and waiting on their favorite fan films, and someone could easily end up totally misinformed because of these stunts. It’s just like that rumor floating around the other day claiming Jackie Chan had passed away.
If that was just some April Fools' Day prank, then honestly, it was pretty terrible—and they picked a really bad date to pull it, too. It’s just like that other fakeout about the forum starting to charge membership fees, which turned out to be nothing more than a cheap joke for April Fools' Day. 🤣
feralorca82 said:Update: the fifth installment is actually going to be a prequel; Resident Evil: Begins takes place in 1998 (so, before the first movie starts). Jill Valentine is set to be the lead, while Alice will likely just be a minor character—maybe even totally insignificant. It’s slated for release on September 14, 2012.

If everything they're saying is true, I'm not exactly blown away. 🤷
Oh man... another prequel... 🤦 I have a gut feeling this is going to be total garbage.
I honestly don't get why anyone would choose to film a prequel instead of just making a proper sequel to RE4. It's pretty obvious the story isn't finished yet. Instead, they just insist on messing around with these prequels. 🙄
We’ve actually covered this topic before, and honestly, most people here agreed that it’s just unnecessary noise for the forum. I mean, seriously, who actually needs another Facebook anyway? 🤷 Honestly, this forum would be such a mess if we had all those little stars cluttering up the posts. It’d be impossible to actually read through a thread without getting distracted by who hit the Like button on everything. Just way too much visual noise. I could honestly go on forever about this, but I'm just not feeling the motivation to type it all out right now. 😁 I’ve already weighed in on this, just like a bunch of other people did in that previous thread.
Anyway, how exactly do you think Threads would be three times more readable if they actually added an option like that? 🤔 Basically, it’d just end up being three times more cluttered than it already is.

So, how old was he when he first started breakdancing?
Anyway, I've been thinking a lot lately... I might actually try to learn some moves through a buddy of mine. 😁 The more I dwell on it, the more obsessed I get. Plus, I can't stop watching those Red Bull BC One promos—especially that Cloud vs. Lilou battle.
Justin Gray81 said:But what is there even to chop up here? 😕 hahaha maybe some bacon and sausages while things are sizzling on the grill 😬
Haha, and maybe some smoked sausage to throw on the grill at 48x speed 😁 I just hope my Apple's ROM is compatible with that format 🤔
Anyway, does he actually mean an ISO (image) format when he says that? 🤷 It's easy to get tripped up by that terminology, especially if you're just starting out.
You can just leave this thread (since it's already locked) as it is. The mods will probably move it over to another section later on, unless you decide to go hunting through other pages yourself. By the way, I’m pretty sure you can't actually delete your own threads—you can only get rid of individual posts. As for your username, you can only change it if it's for some aesthetic tweak, like fixing capitalization, adding a symbol, or messing with spaces. If you're looking to switch to a completely different name, that's a no-go.
