A little update for you guys - News: Movie to start filming after 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' is done
After all the rumors about Beetlejuice 2 were floating around, Winona Ryder told The Huffington Post that the sequel will push through. Back in early 2015, though, Grahame-Smith spilled some spoilers on Entertainment Weekly.

"I've emailed with Michael Keaton," Grahame-Smith explained.

"I know he's excited about the idea. Where it stands now is Tim's got to get ready to make 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children,' and then hopefully we are set, deals are done, and we're waiting in the wings ready to go right after 'Peregrine's' wraps up. The ideal timeline is we're really getting into it toward the end of this year."

"There's a script now that I think is closer to what it could be and I'm excited about it," said Tim Burton regarding the speculations.

"I wouldn't call it so much a sequel, but I'll have some characters from the original Beetlejuice. It's a bit too early to say but it's definitely something that's on my radar and something I'd love to do."

Based on this info, production for the new Bubimir might kick off late this year or sometime early next. If everything stays on track, we could see the movie hitting theaters by the end of 2017 or even 2018.
Also, Tim Burton's 'Miss Peregrine' is scheduled to hit theaters this Christmas.

X-Men spinoff Gambit begins shooting in New Orleans
So, I was thinking back to November when Simon Kinberg confirmed that production on 20th Century Fox's X-Men spinoff Gambit will begin sometime this spring. He called the whole thing a "sexy heist thriller," which honestly sounds right up my alley. We already know Channing Tatum is taking the lead as our resident card-throwing hero, and Léa Seydoux portraying the female lead, Belladonna Boudreaux is officially set. Well, looks like we finally have some concrete timing—a new report from WGNO just dropped, and it turns out the movie will start production this March in New Orleans. Pretty exciting stuff if you ask me.
cosmicheron21 said:They really should have just made one single movie for the third installment, but honestly? I’m actually relieved they didn't stretch this final chapter out into some endless marathon like they did with Part 1. Look, I’ve got my gripes—two big ones and a handful of smaller issues—but at the end of the day, I walked away feeling pretty satisfied. It gets surprisingly dark at times, which was a pleasant little shock to the system for me. The tension stays high throughout, only losing its rhythm for a brief moment here and there. Snow is absolutely excellent. For me, it’s a solid piece of work that hit the marks I was looking for.

Wait, really?
If you check IMDb, Part 1 is actually 123 minutes, while Part 2 clocks in at 137. So it's actually even longer.
Either way, it's a lot. Sitting through nearly four and a half hours of this stuff total...

Ryan Wilson2 said:It all seems rather disorganized; while the visual presentation is undeniably stunning, I am struggling to grasp the actual narrative core 🤣...it feels like some sort of haphazard blend of ancient Egypt, The Mummy, and Iron Man 😁

HU... honestly, as long as it looks good visually, I'm down. 😬
Honestly, this looks like it’ll turn out to be one of those perfect popcorn movies. Just something fun to sink into. 🍿

Just when you thought we couldn't get enough mythological blockbusters, here comes another one diving into the world of Egyptian gods, titled... well, "Gods of Egypt."

"Gods of Egypt" is an American fantasy film directed by Alex Proyas, who teamed up with Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless on the script.
The production took place in Australia through Summit Entertainment, and it’ll be hitting theaters via Lionsgate.
Mark your calendars—it’s dropping February 26th next year.

The cast includes:
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Horus
Gerard Butler as Set
Elodie Yung as Hathor
Brenton Thwaites as Bek
Chadwick Boseman as Thoth
Courtney Eaton as Zaya

Synopsis said:The Egyptian god of darkness Set takes over the throne of the Egyptian empire. A mortal hero Bek allies with the Egyptian god Horus in a mission to save the world and to rescue his love

Man, you seriously have no clue what you're talking about. ☕

silentcanyon58 said:So, we've got Mads and the glorious Reddit crowd.

Oh, totally. Mads would actually be a killer choice for Geralt. Just give him some longer hair and he's basically there.

Since Lambert and Mortensen both have plenty of experience swinging swords on screen—think Highlander and Lord of the Rings—you can actually see them pulling off roles in this movie.

Nicholas Watson said:So they're starting with the prequel, Last Wish. I can't quite remember which specific story from that collection covers the Lesser Evil plot.
It looks like they're sticking to shorter, standalone stories for now. If they ever try to tackle the whole main saga, they're really going to have their work cut out for them.

Like they said, they'll be adapting the tale of how Geralt became the butcher of Blaviken.

Nicholas Watson said:I wonder if they're going with an adaptation from the books or the games? It's always such a toss-up when these big studio projects get announced. Personally, I've always been more of a fan of the original source material, but let's be real—the games are what really put everything on the map for most people. Either way, it'll be a wild ride.
If they actually stick to the books, this could turn into a seriously great series. 👋

It'll be based on themes from the short stories "The Witcher" and "Lesser Evil."

Matthew Anderson said:Dolph Lundgren.

😬

Man, I actually found him. 🤣

Honestly, I can't think of a single actor who actually looks like they stepped right out of the games.

Noah Sanchez2 said:This could honestly make for a killer movie, but I feel like they could easily blow it all by picking the wrong lead or totally messing with the vibe from the books and games.

That’s exactly where things fall apart these days when they try to turn video games into movies. They almost never actually stick to what made the game great in the first place.
If they really want to pull in the hardcore fans for the movie version, they’re going to have to nail the casting. It’s everything.

With so many huge titles getting the big screen treatment lately, it’s finally happening—a movie adaptation of the massive fantasy hit The Witcher is slated for a 2017 release.
If you're sitting there wondering what exactly makes The Witcher so special— The Witcher wikipedia

The American production outfit Sean Daniel's Alphaville Films, the same folks behind The Mummy, is teaming up with Platique image to bring Andrzej Sapkowski's books to life.

According to Platique Images, the film will be directed by Tomasz Baginski, who actually snagged an Oscar nod for his animated short, The Cathedral.

From what I've gathered, CD Projekt Red—the studio behind the actual games like The Witcher, The Witcher 2, and the massive The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that dropped this year—isn't actually involved in this specific movie project.

I figured I'd drop a few trailers from The Witcher 3 just so everyone can get a visual sense of the vibe we're looking at here:

"A Night to Remember" Launch Cinematic Witcher III

Movie Based on the The Witcher Planned for 2017
launch Cinematic Witcher ii Movie Based on The The Witcher Planned for 2017 Quote : The full-length feature films will focus on Geralt , The Main character of The Witcher

Thania st. John, who has worked on shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is lined up to write the script, though we haven't heard anything about who's playing the characters yet. They're aiming for a 2017 release and it sounds like they want this to be the start of a whole series.
Now, while CD Projekt Red handled the video game versions, this movie is a different beast. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt recently got a cool expansion called Hearts of Stone, in which Geralt is hired to defeat a bandit captain called Olgierd von Everec. That added about 10 more hours of fun to an already huge game. Honestly, IT should be interesting to see How The film adaptions handled The expansive fiction of The Witcher Universe.

Can I just swap out the symbols in my username for regular periods? (Since the clean version is already taken)
Looking at the member list, it seems like it’s allowed.

It wouldn't work.
Just using a period as part of some initials.
RAM Upgrade Advice in Desktops ·
It’ll run at a lower frequency, but honestly, you're better off just grabbing some RAM that matches what's already on your motherboard.
And obviously, you gotta make sure the voltage is identical for both modules.
The only thing that doesn't really matter when you're upgrading is the manufacturer.

There isn't a ton of info out there yet, other than the buzz that the sequel is going to dive deeper into Bubimir's family tree.
Word on the street is that we might see Beetle Bernie pop up in Beetlejuice 2—he’s supposedly Beetlejuice's older relative, though some sites are claiming he's actually his brother.

Beetlejuice 2 is set in the modern day and was specifically written with Michael Keaton in mind.

Warner Bros. Pictures just dropped the news about the movie adaptation for the massive Rockstar Games hit series, Indiana Jones. This Action Adventure flick is set to hit theaters on June 30, 2017.
I honestly think fans of Indiana Jones or Lara Croft Tomb Raider are going to be pretty stoked about this one.
Aside from the release date, we're still flying blind. There aren't many details yet, and we don't even know who's going to be sitting in the director's chair.
