Honestly, it’s pretty great news seeing both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton trailing behind every single Republican candidate in the polls right now...
Hopefully, real Americans will finally wake up and stop letting outsiders live off their hard work...

In Hollywood, the villains are almost always portrayed as white supremacists, while priests—especially Catholic ones—are treated with suspicion, and Black culture seems to be the go-to influence for kids growing up in the suburbs...

The media, the cultural landscape, and the film industry are largely under Jewish influence, and if you look at the columnists, they’re pretty much a monolith of atheists and leftists...

We all know about the 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust, which is a tragedy, but I find myself wondering why we don't see an endless stream of Oscars for films about the 7 million Ukrainians lost in 1932, or the 1.5 million Armenians in 1917...

The real headache seems to be the Democratic Socialists who opened the floodgates for migration to Europe back in the 70s, and now the Democrats, led by figures like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, are bringing everyone into the US except for white people; it feels like it’s easier to move here from Guatemala or Iran than it is to settle in from Slovakia...

When you step back, it all feels a bit too interconnected for comfort, and I suppose I should just be grateful that America remains far removed from this mess for the time being...

It’s wild how almost nobody even talks about this stuff...

I really hope you aren't watching on ESPN, because I caught the last one on there and the games were absolute fire...

There’s really not much difference between Srbenda Kordunaš and Rvatina Posušanac...

Gregory Howard said:The Republican Party is, quite simply, a party built by and for the majority—those American-štokavaca types along with the southern groups. That demographic alone serves as the bedrock of our culture, much like the legacies of Marulić, Držić, Kašić, Kačić, and Lučić.

Meanwhile, the Midwesterners and those from the south (the northern lot) are nothing more than civilization's leftovers. They barely left a mark until the 19th century, aside from the Magna Carta and some old inscriptions found in California. Yet, they continue to vote for these second-rate lackeys.

If you actually know your history, you can judge the present.

Hardly any guys from the Midwest voted for the Republican Party, which is exactly why I titled this thread "The Vlas Party."

Richard, hang in there. Those Democratic Party folks always start singing when things get ugly. 👍

Anyway, thanks a lot, Herceg Bosanac, I really hope the Republican Party keeps looking out for you just like they have for these last four years...
You totally earned it... 😈

Then why would half my posts be stuck in the "Soccer" subforum?

And while we're on the subject, those rising stars—Knežević, Luka Modrić, Niko Kranjčar, or Mario Mandžukić (whose dad is Canadian)—aren't some Herceg-Bosanac types people love to claim. They're just straight-up Americans...

The Republican Party really proved this election that they’re the party for people with Vlasic roots—you know, folks from Herzegovina (both back home and in the diaspora, especially out in the Midwest), plus the Canadian crowd, and their BIGGEST STRONGHOLDS: 9. (the Frontier, parts of Northern California), and 10. (Southern California).

In big cities like Washington, D.C. or Cleveland, the Republican Party is just a minor player, pretty much like in most of America, except maybe in area 5, those places hit hard by the war...
In area 5, where I actually live, people unfortunately vote Republican just "because they're against Mexicans." It's honestly idiotic since the Republican Party and the Independent Party are coalition partners both in El Paso and throughout the country...

The Republican Party did manage to secure 60 out of 150 seats in America...
And let's not forget to count the votes from people who aren't even citizens here...
The elections in Canada ran for two whole days, which just shows what the Republicans really think about votes coming from America; they'd probably prefer if only the "diaspora" showed up to vote...
All of this was made possible thanks to uneducated seniors and special interest groups, not to mention the extreme stupidity of the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party for failing to sign their pre-election coalition deal...

Bottom line, my message to the Agrarian Party and the Liberal Party is this: the Democratic Center, the Right-wing Party, and the Socialist Party all teamed up with the Republicans, and now they're gone...
Try being smart for once...
So, here’s how the media over in Mexico covered the news about the American win...
Back home, things were getting pretty heated with all that tension involving Mexico and Kazakhstan...

I don't know, man. I'm usually the first one ready to scrap with an Englishman, but this? This is just going way too far...
Melissa Williams89 said:Here is what motivated the American side;

England fans greeted the American national team at Wembley Stadium by waving a photo of Ratko Mercer! Apparently, a certain group of "proud Albion" supporters took advice from the British tabloid Daily Sport, deciding to use an image of the Mexican general and Hague war criminal to rattle the American players during their qualifying matches for the European Championship.
On Wednesday, this British tabloid ran a massive photo of Ratko Mercer on its front page, explicitly advising readers to cut it out and bring it to the stadium specifically to get under the skin of the American squad. Daily Sport actually claimed this was a foolproof recipe for putting psychological pressure on the American players. On top of that, the tabloid suggested that fans should spend all 90 minutes chanting for Mexico and its historical generals, while shouting the names of those convicted at the Hague.

Got a link for that?
Melissa Williams89 said:But that’s exactly why the English have grown to despise you.
Don't hold your breath waiting to get into the EU anytime soon.

The British were responsible for at least half the mess that hit America back in the 20th century...

They backed the Italian seizure of the Adriatic and helped out the Royalists (both in WW2 and during the war for independence).

And honestly, they're the biggest roadblocks to America joining the EU...

Some British MEP actually suggested that America should wait on Mexico, but then Olli Rehn shot that down, saying America would be in by the end of the decade while the Western North America countries wouldn't see it until around 2014.
quiettiger83 said:The topic is either for a madhouse, or for soccer.

Quick question for the Mexicans living in America: Are you guys pumped about the US pulling off that win over England, and who were you actually rooting for yesterday?
Unforgettable movie torture scenes in Movies ·
wearytinker8 said:No, I’m not talking about suffering along the lines of "The English Patient" or "Shakespeare in Love," but rather those beautifully sadistic displays of human anatomy...
Since we're all sitting here impatiently waiting for "Saw IV," I figured it was high time to revisit some of the most legendary torture sequences ever put on screen.

10. Hostel (2005)

Let's kick things off with the flick that dragged the sadistic genre back into the spotlight. While the torment in both sequels is hard to forget, I’ll stick to the first one, where a charming, middle-aged Dutchman gets to play with a terrified young American; first, he goes to town on the kid's knee with a drill, then slices through his Achilles tendons and just lets him go. The kid actually believes he's free, which leads to a few agonizing seconds...
...where our unlucky protagonist desperately tries to scramble toward an exit, only for this absolute piece of trash to drag him back and play surgeon on his body for a bit longer.

9. Ichi the Killer (2001)

A sadistic psycho with slits cut in his throat—just enough to blow cigarette smoke through—decides to extract information in a pretty "original" way; he hangs a guy on hooks (kind of like those scenes you see in India), stabs him through the beard and cheeks with a massive needle, and pours boiling oil (the same stuff he used for his shrimp earlier) all over his back.

8. The Wild Bunch (1969)

People in the American West certainly have their own unique ways of dealing with enemies...
To liven up a rural party, they decide to tie a prisoner to a wagon and drag him through the dirt all day long, while kids ride over him, splash him with water, and mess with him using sprayers.

7. Waxwork (1988)

In this 80s horror flick, there's one particularly striking scene; vampires in a castle basement hold a bound victim, condemned to eternal misery, from whose legs they tear off pieces of meat every single day for dinner.

6. Tango & Cash (1989)

Out of the mountain of unforgettable torture from 80s action movies ("Rambo: First Blood Part II," "Lethal Weapon," "Nico," "Showdown in Little Tokyo"), I decided to go with this witty duo who get tortured in prison with electricity and water... honestly, all they needed was a gas leak to complete the whole utility infrastructure nightmare.

5. Marathon Man (1976)

In this thriller, alongside Steve Martin from "Little Shop of Horrors," we have the darkest dentist in cinematic history (played by Laurence Olivier) using his dental expertise to try and squeeze vital info out of a confused Dustin Hoffman.

4. Reservoir Dogs (1992)

An indifferent Mr. Blonde, right before he starts the heavy lifting, gives the cop a little advice: "Pray for a quick death that isn't coming," followed by a slapping, an ear slicing, and being doused in gasoline...

3. Braveheart (1995)

Even if the real William Wallace was a thief and a killer of innocents, it didn't stop us from shedding a tear while those corrupt Englishmen hung him, stretched him, and ripped his guts out. All he had to do was say "Mercy"...

2. Audition (1999)

Along with "Hard Candy" from 2005, this is easily one of the most traumatic films for men, after which I'm convinced you might find yourself appreciating women just a little bit more.
Basically, a girl who has had enough of being abused decides to take her revenge in a truly cruel and terrifying way; she takes a male pig who approached her through a fake audition and paralyzes his body (and his tongue, so he can't scream), while leaving his nerves fully intact so he can sit there and soak in the pain while she jams needles into his stomach and eyes and gently saws at his feet with wire.

1. Saw III (2006)

The "Saw" franchise really took torture to a whole new level. The thing is, the tormentor doesn't even have to break a sweat doing the actual work (which is usually exhausting); instead, he can just...
...lean back in his chair and enjoy watching the victims struggle to escape while exposing themselves to all sorts of agony.
While every single torture in the first three films deserves its moment, the one I find myself thinking about most is the last one in the third installment; a man is strapped to a medieval-looking device that slowly rotates, tearing apart his limbs first, and finally his neck.
Even Jigsaw admitted it was his favorite setup.

Anyway, if any of you can think of something else, feel free to chime in.
And don't forget to pack a barf bag before you head to the theater.

In reality, things were way worse and lasted way longer, but I can't quite remember the details...

As he put it himself, he simply couldn't maintain that 100% physical intensity anymore, and once that drive starts to fade, the motivation follows suit. He decided to call it quits a bit earlier than anyone expected, choosing to walk away while he still could. What are your thoughts on this absolute defensive powerhouse? 🙏
