Seriously, what is wrong with you 😁 (I honestly thought you’d keep seeing a doctor before the ER had to come pick you up 🙂).
Look, it doesn't necessarily mean you have asthma. Lung tests aren't exactly a huge ordeal.
Man, I've got my own... asthma (it only kicks in during ragweed season). It's pretty much "rock 'n' roll" when you wake up at three in the morning, unable to catch your breath, making noises like someone is actually squealing in the room.
Have you been wheezing—you know, that rattling sound when you breathe? Maybe it isn't asthma after all 🙂
Honestly, your question isn't nearly as silly or pointless as some people are making it out to be. For instance, there’s the well-known human T-cell lymphoma/leukemia virus.
There are actually several other oncogenic viruses out there too: http://www.life.umd.edu/classroom/bs...nicViruses.htm
I can't really give you a hand with that, but I'm positive there are at least two—probably more, actually—right here in New York City. You might want to check the Saturday papers; they usually have plenty of those ads for private practices listed in there.
Arthur Barnes said:I've been sipping tea with honey... but honestly, it's not doing much.
I can feel this mucus stuck deep in my throat, and if I try to cough it up, my whole airway just feels congested, so I end up making this weak little hacking sound, kind of like a cat. If I actually managed to cough hard enough to clear it, I’d be right back where I was this morning.
So instead, I just let all the phlegm slide down into my stomach, my lungs, wherever it wants to go...
Anyway, what about steam inhalation? You know, breathing in some menthol through your nose? Would that help break up the gunk?
edit: wait, isn't inhalation more for clearing out sinus congestion? I can breathe through my nose just fine and I'm not even stuffy, so maybe...
thanks 🙏
You really have to cough it up; you can't let that mucus sit in your lower airways.
Try brewing some chamomile tea and inhaling the steam from that.
If you'd actually listened to your doctor, you wouldn't be throwing money $17 out the window, and you definitely wouldn't be dealing with those choking episodes from all that mucus 🙂...
I’ve been dealing with this endless cough for over four weeks now because of my ragweed allergy. It was honestly brutal. To make matters worse, I had to be at my internship, and the pain in my ribs got so intense that I actually started worrying I might have a fracture... I couldn't sleep on my side, I couldn't even touch my ribs, and taking a deep breath was nearly impossible. Every time a coughing fit hit, I had to clutch my torso just to catch my breath. All in all, it was a total nightmare, and knowing my luck, I'll probably be dealing with this all through the fall again...
Just try to drink plenty of fluids and work on coughing that stuff up. You should probably head to the clinic too, just so they can prescribe you something 🙂
analogowl18, I honestly think this could be a game-changer for you, and I really want it to work... Have you ever experimented with things like autogenic training or visualization exercises? You should definitely give them a shot—you've got nothing to lose. The power of the mind can truly overcome anything!
Nah, if things have actually improved for her there, there’s really no point in switching. Besides, if she’s happy with the results, then everything is 👍 ...
It looks like things got cleaned up here... I’m honestly not sure why there isn't more space for discussing how the female cycle connects to the Moon. But, hey, if that's how it is, okay.
Anyway, it's a documented fact that admissions to mental health facilities tend to spike during a full Moon, and we see an uptick in homicide rates too. You also notice a slight rise during the new Moon phase.
At least according to some studies, people living with schizophrenia seem to be the most sensitive to the full Moon.
After all, it's not by accident that the word "lunatic" actually comes from the Latin word for Moon, *luna*.
There is so much happening on this planet that is tied to the activity of the Moon, so why wouldn't humans be affected as well?

I did take physics, by the way. Actually aced the course with an A... But I still can't wrap my head around this logic, nor does it make any sense to me 😲

My mom is dealing with some spinal issues right now. She’s actually starting her second round of therapy within just six months. I should double-check the exact location—whether it's pool exercises, gymnastics, or massage—but I think it's over by the Botanical area?
Oh, and don't forget to bring your slippers! 😁
It's probably near Mihanovic or at the Mayo Clinic under Drago Čop. When I was there doing my rehab, I used to call the place a correctional facility... seriously. They just hired a new manager lately, so hopefully, things will actually change. The only thing worth anything there is the pool. Everything else feels like passive physical therapy—mostly just getting hit with electrical currents. It feels like an assembly line; there's zero individual attention, and most of the staff is 😲. For example, they'll call out numbers like "who has 101" (that's their code for a specific procedure), or ask a patient, "Is this your first time?" when the poor person is literally finishing up their tenth day of treatment. All in all, 😲.
