Look, let’s be clear: there's no point in dragging up old drama or trying to steer this conversation over to other forums—it’s pretty obvious why that won't work here. Beyond that, I’m going to keep deleting posts where people are being straight-up rude or just looking for a fight, including any quotes of those comments. It’s completely unnecessary to crank up the tension and start a massive blowout when there's zero reason to. Everything else in the PDF is laid out perfectly fine, and we can absolutely keep discussing things right here on this thread if everyone would just stop being so stubborn and let things settle down. Neither L3go nor I came here with any bad intentions; our whole goal is to find a few solid moderators who can step up and take care of the tourism section the way it deserves, and you can actually help us reach that goal if you want to. If you don't want to help, then please, just stay out of the way. We haven't handed out any bans so far, aside from the one situation involving Mickey—and he knows exactly why that happened—because we are genuinely trying to talk to you. We get it, change is hard and people don't always like it, and we have plenty of empathy for that, but for this to actually work, that respect needs to go both ways.
Look, I have to clarify how things work around here because there seems to be some confusion. The moderators—meaning those handling our editorial policy and overall Forum direction—aren't allowed to jump into specific threads within a PDF to debate their decisions, and that goes for the main chat thread too. If you have questions regarding a moderator's ruling on a particular PDF, please just use private messages or bring it up right here in this PDF. Everything else is handled exactly the way it should be. Right here!.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. Lego and I are just passing through for the moment, though I have a feeling one of our more active regulars will probably pop up to join us pretty soon. As for everything else, we aren't going to get into a debate about it—just like we don't usually dive into the nitty-gritty of how the forum administration handles things.

The "dj" at the end of my handle just bothers me a bit (I wasn't exactly overthinking things when I signed up 😳), so... if we can switch it to angel29, that would be great. If not, I'm fine leaving it as is. 🙂
Could you maybe swap out the number for a word or a letter instead? 😁

Nope, we aren't adding numbers.

You could always try adding a little something before or after the word "angel." 🙂 Just give it some thought and let me know if you come up with something you actually like!
The partial bans are essentially permanent, or at least indefinite. If they decide to lift one, it’s really up to the discretion of the admins; they usually only go that route if they feel confident that whatever old issues caused the ban won't start bubbling up again. Which brings us right to your next point:
Honestly, you should probably rephrase that to "Why *should* my ban be lifted?" That's the real question here, and it's one where you need to convince the moderators that the behavior leading to the ban is a thing of the past. Try explaining what's changed about how you participate in the community and why you think you deserve to get back into the soccer PDF section.🙂

Dorian gave you some really solid advice there. Just keep in mind that if you want us to actually take your appeals seriously and move forward with them, they need to be polite and backed up by some actual evidence.
Trust me, you aren't the only one dealing with this; it’s really just a formal notification rather than an actual ban, so you can still post and chat like normal. I've already flagged this over to our tech support team to look into.
Look, your first post was wiped because it was purely provocative—you were throwing insults left and right and just being generally toxic without adding a single constructive thought to the conversation. Then there's the second issue: you can't stop nitpicking the moderation team. And finally, your third post got flagged and taken down because, once again, you decided to make the mods the target of your commentary rather than actually discussing the topic at hand.
