So, basically, does that mean I can request a partial data export whenever I feel like it, and then just ask to have everything wiped down later on? 🙂

In principle, yeah. Unless you're one of those troublemakers where the mods are already breathing down your neck about your data—in which case, asking for it yourself might be pushing your luck a bit. But honestly, I don't think you're that kind of guy. 😁
Can I get a partial? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Just so you know, those partial memberships you request follow the exact same rules as the ones we hand out ourselves—which basically means you can't go messing around with the PDF containing all the clones while your access is active. They’re granted indefinitely and don't have an expiration date. If you decide you want a partial again later on, you can always just ask to have it removed whenever you're ready to jump back onto the PDF; honestly, just shooting a quick message to the admin is more than enough.

Look, if posts are getting way too long, they can be edited down or shortened—that’s really not the issue here.

Not at all. Honestly, they don't.

Alex Barnes93 said:Well then, maybe you should just turn on the auto-quote feature...

There's really no need for that, if you ask me; I think it's perfectly fine to let everyone decide for themselves whether they want to include a quote in their own posts or not. 🙂

swifttiger75 said:Shake your head left and right—maybe you'll come to your senses. Edward Howard2 noticed the black pig closing in on him. Bracing his hands against the dirt, he tried to pull himself up, but he was too dazed to manage anything more than a shaky rise—just enough to catch a heavy moccasin strike straight to the jaw. The black pig had seen Edward Howard2 struggling to stand, quickened its pace, then sprinted forward, landing a perfectly aimed blow that sent Edward Howard2 several teeth flying. He scrambled onto his horse, letting out a sharp whistle to signal the Native Americans moving up the ridge toward Nice. Galloping hard, he chased after the stunning lady.

Standing face-to-face, rustycobra32 and TBF sized each other up for a moment before TBF made a slow, deliberate move toward his shirt pocket. Pulling out a folded scrap of paper with the same steady motion, he offered it to the young warrior. (rustycobra32, you've got a choice: take the note or knock it out of his hand and throw TBF)

Nice had just reached the crest of the hill when the black pig pulled up on a horse right beside her. Leaning her hands on her knees, Nice bent over, taking several deep breaths to recover. She smoothed her hair, then, with a sudden movement, hitched up the right side of her dress. A beam of sunlight hit her pale thigh, flashing with a glimpse of pure femininity. The pig was only a few yards from the ridge, absolutely blinded by the sight. Even the horse wasn't immune; it reared up violently, nearly tossing the big chief. Once his eyes adjusted to the glare, the black pig could clearly see a silk harness with a black and red pattern, from which two cards were hanging. Yellow and red. With a fluid motion, Nice slid her hand down her thigh, using her index and middle fingers to delicately pluck the red card from the harness. Bringing the card to her lips, she gave it a soft kiss before flicking it toward the black pig, whispering barely audibly... "perma!"—
The black pig wasn't black anymore. It turned gray, then, in one sudden contraction and expansion of reality, vanished from the space and time of the universe it knew.

Meanwhile, the train crossed the bridge, passing over the spot where the unexploded dynamite lay. The car came to a halt, and Jason Campbell70 and Vuco climbed down, watching Kamui Kobayashi approach. Maldonado was particularly fast; he lost control of his horse for a second and plowed straight into the unfortunate Terry Carter2, trampling him at a full gallop just as the guy was trying to scramble up from the ground.

"Dammit! You can't ride like that." Vuco shouted, throwing his hands up in frustration.
"Hey, take it easy... stuff happens," Jason Campbell70 said, trying to calm him down.
"Stuff happens? It always happens. Something always goes sideways. Happened in '41, happened in '91... it always happens," Vuco snapped, still gesturing wildly.
"Don't take it so hard. The deputy was a real piece of work... not a decent man, damn it," Jason Campbell70 muttered, patting him on the shoulder while explaining.
"If you want to know why he was a piece of work, well... look here!" Vuco said, turning back to Jason Campbell70.
"He was a piece of work because that deputy was against the rebels! Don't lecture me, it's not like I don't know," Vuco sighed resignedly.

The others on horseback joined them, and a heated debate broke out—one where people weren't holding back, whether it was with arguments or insults.
While the tension near the car was simmering, William Bennett53 hopped onto Tamburelo and trotted leisurely toward the saloon. Standing on the porch, Tyler Cruz32 cooled herself with a fan, reflecting on everything that had gone down. Seeing the sheriff pass by, she gave a slight nod and tipped her hat, feeling a flutter in her stomach. Picking up on the good vibes, the sheriff stole a few more glances at the young woman. He let out a hearty laugh as he climbed toward the saloon, but a wooden support beam caught him right in the face, cutting the laugh short as he slammed his head into it, blood blooming from his nose.Tyler Cruz32 was already pulling her pink revolver from its holster, sprinting toward the sheriff who was currently face-down in the dirt with a busted nose. Watching her run—especially with her chest straining against a corset that looked like it was losing its final battle to stay shut—made the sheriff feel like he was hallucinating. As those laces started to give way, William Bennett53 gave a bloody grin, completely unaware his front tooth was long gone.

To be continued...

Look, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with doing that, and you definitely won't get penalized for it. We've gone back and forth on this topic plenty of times before, and honestly, my stance hasn't budged an inch. If anyone has been handed a warning or a strike just for quoting a previous post, please reach out to me directly and I will make sure it gets cleared up. I’m asking the moderators once again to please dial back the overmoderating—just let people use quotes freely unless they start posting massive, unnecessary walls of text.

Moderator Code of Conduct in Feedback & Suggestions ·
nimbleowl6 said:I’ve been wondering lately—do the moderators and the rest of the site admin team actually follow some kind of official code of conduct when they're dealing with us users?

When we pick moderators, we aren't looking for people who need a rulebook shoved in their faces; we look for those standout members who already know how to carry themselves and respect the conversation. Sure, we have guidelines in place, obviously, but there’s no point in offering a leadership role to someone who constantly needs to be told not to be toxic or belittle others. We want people who naturally get it. That being said, let's be real—nobody is perfect. Moderators are just people too, and yeah, they might get carried away sometimes just like anyone else. When that happens, we're right here to step in, set them straight, or hand out sanctions if necessary, just like we would with any other user. Regarding this specific complaint about Jacob Sullivan91, I honestly haven't seen anything problematic in her decisions during her entire time helping us run things; she's been a top-tier moderator from day one.

nimbleowl6 said:What’s the actual point of a phrase like, "And that was enough," or "That's plenty now"? It’s one of those expressions that feels like it carries a lot of weight depending on how you throw it out there. Honestly, I feel like people use it in a few different ways—sometimes it's just a way to signal that a situation has reached its limit, or maybe someone is just totally fed up and needs a break. It’s like hitting a wall where you just can't take any more of whatever is happening. It could be used when a conversation gets too heated, or even when you've had just about enough of a certain task. It’s such a versatile little sentiment, isn't it? It basically acts as a verbal full stop, telling everyone involved that the capacity for more has been reached.

Look, the whole point of these warnings is just to let people know when they’re straying off track or being unconstructive. It’s basically a way to tell folks, "Hey, you're getting a bit out of line here." Warnings are just one of the tools in a moderator's kit; they can be used on their own or alongside actual bans, depending on how the situation is looking at the moment. I’m definitely not saying moderators are untouchable gods—I don't believe in giving them some kind of special pass—but that goes both ways. Just like a mod is going to get flagged if they start throwing insults around, they shouldn't feel like they have to act like clinical robots or use perfectly sterile language all the time. They're human too.

nimbleowl6 said:I was just sitting here thinking—why is it considered such a taboo move to actually call out a moderator's intervention? You know, when they step in and say something like, "Hey everyone, let's please get back to the actual topic at hand," or even just a gentle nudge to refocus the conversation? It feels like there's this unwritten rule that those kinds of direct prompts are somehow "off-limits" or weird to mention, but I don't quite get it. Why can't we acknowledge when a mod is just trying to steer the ship back on course?

At the end of the day, it’s really up to each individual moderator to decide how they want to phrase a warning. As long as they're sticking to the general community guidelines and handling things in a way that actually fits the specific situation at hand, they have the creative freedom to manage it their own way.

slynomad14 said:Look, the crowd hanging out here is mostly a bit more seasoned, you know? We’ve all reached that stage in life where we should be able to hash things out without just jumping straight to insults. Sure, if things get heated, maybe we can throw a little digital shade or get into a spirited back-and-forth—call it a little virtual sparring if you want—but let's at least bring some actual life and energy to the conversation!

Look, I’m all for bringing some life and energy to the conversation—spirited debates are part of the fun and definitely aren't against the rules here. But honestly, that has absolutely nothing to do with this specific complaint. If you look closely at the posts that were actually removed or flagged, you won't find any of that heated back-and-forth in there at all.

slynomad14 said:Look, if we occasionally turn something into a joke, what's the big deal?
Honestly, is anyone actually going to get their feelings hurt by a little banter? Or will they just laugh it off? Sometimes a good laugh is exactly what you need. 🙂

A little bit of humor doesn't hurt anybody, as long as it doesn't devolve into tearing people down or turning into straight-up spam.

I really only wanted to touch on a few specific points, but honestly, there’s no need for me to drag this out since boldwalker12 and Jacob Sullivan91 have already laid everything out so clearly. Their posts pretty much cover all the bases, so I don't see much point in me just repeating what they've already said.
Appealing my permanent ban to Smith & Wesson in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Anonymous said:@rustydrifter10, you know how much I’ve argued with you in our DMs about removing my permanent ban. We exchanged so many messages. After all that, I even suggested a compromise—that you lift the ban but keep certain sections on the main boards—but you wouldn't even consider it. You were incredibly cold toward me, and honestly, that just added to my bitterness, which is why I ended up creating these two new clone accounts.

The moderators don't want you on their specific sub-forums, and frankly, I have no intention of handing back a user they view as a problem; they’d clearly rather just deal with the site without you here.

Anonymous said:yeah, I guess I’d say that I am, much like Mr. Grizzly

Look, you aren't Grizzly, so you can't compare yourself to him, and all those comments and posts directed at him have nothing to do with you.

Anonymous said:I won't go so far as to call myself noble or decent; I'll leave that to others to decide. All I know is that before all this drama started, I was what a regular user should be—normal, polite in discussions, constructive, and so on. Unfortunately, because of certain things happening on this forum, and due to the sheer frustration of feeling like I couldn't change anything, I've had a total change in personality. It is what it is.

Chicken-Brain, where you caused the most trouble, the moderators weren't really active back in the day; the female mods would usually just handle the reports. But once Google pulled our ad revenue and the mods had to manually comb through every single thread looking for problematic images, they were absolutely shocked to see you were doing the exact same thing then as you are now—which is why you're banned. So, it isn't that your "character" changed; it's just that they finally started actually moderating you. That's a huge distinction. And it wasn't just that you kept that attitude on this one board; since they stopped letting you get away with it there, you started spreading that same energy across the whole forum, especially regarding the local politics stuff.

Anonymous said:no, I won't and can't agree to that.

It’s a deal then—your permanent ban isn't going anywhere for at least four months.

Anonymous said:Look, changing the forum itself isn't exactly rocket science, but honestly, I have zero interest in doing that. I want to keep posting right here because I actually enjoy this community, so if you guys aren't going to strip my permanent ban, I'm just going to keep writing under my current active alt account.

We don't negotiate with threats, and just so we're clear, we will permaban every single alt account we catch you using. Plus, every time you try to sneak back in with a new profile, you're just making it even less likely that we'll ever lift the ban on your original handle.
Just kidding :) in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Don't go thinking you're going to get a partial refund just by handling things this way.

Jason Campbell70 said:So, what exactly does a moderator do once a post gets flagged for a specific reason? Subforum policy violation, Article 5, Section 5: Maliciously misrepresenting a name ("Bandit").?

Ide editirati forumašev post, te prepravlja "BanditI honestly can't believe I'm even typing this, but since you asked... what's on your mind?Ed Koch":
I honestly can't believe we're still circling this same drain, but here we are! I was just reading through some old threads, and it hit me how much people love to jump to conclusions without actually looking at the facts. You see it all the time on these boards—someone makes a wild claim, and suddenly everyone is acting like it’s gospel truth. It’s exhausting, really. And speaking of people making wild claims, let's talk about what rustydrifter10 was saying earlier. I mean, I hear you, but aren't we being a little bit dramatic? You can't just throw around accusations of a subforum policy violation because someone expressed an opinion you didn't like. That's not how this works, guys. We need to keep things civil if we want this community to actually be worth hanging out in. It reminds me of those old political circus acts back in New York—you know, the way Ed Koch used to handle critics? Just pure, unadulterated deflection. Instead of addressing the actual issue, people just pivot to attacking the messenger. It’s a classic move, but it’s incredibly frustrating when you’re just trying to have a real conversation. At the end of the day, if we're going to keep debating these topics, we need more substance and a lot less ego. Let's try to actually engage with the arguments instead of just throwing digital stones at each other. It would make life a whole lot easier for everyone involved!

I can't see the image you're referring to! It looks like the link didn't come through properly or the file isn't accessible. Could you try uploading it again or describing what's in the picture? I'd love to take a look and give you my thoughts!

The thing is, even that wasn't handled properly—he still left one "Bandit" hanging there. 😍

Way to go, gentlemen! Seriously, bravo—you all absolutely nailed it. 😍

Look, whether you click the link or just look at the screenshot, the information is identical. So, that whole argument about the moderator stepping in to tweak things? It just doesn't hold any water.

Well, looks like we finally got that initial headache sorted out!

Steven Clark2 said:If not—then why did Arthur Flores2, for example, have to wait two and a half months just to get a response to his request to return to the Religion subforum? Why did Parsifal receive a permanent ban at first, only to have it downgraded to a partial ban on that very same Religion board? And why did Tony end up with a partial ban on that same Religion section?

Look, we aren't going to sit here and debate someone else's disciplinary actions; those decisions were handled when they needed to be, right where they belonged.

Steven Clark2 said:You can't just kick people off the forum simply because they write things that clash with your own worldview—you don't have the right to do that.

The Religion subforum is home to users from all walks of life with various worldviews and beliefs, so this claim that people are only being pushed out if they disagree with the moderators just isn't true.

Steven Clark2 said:It's not like you have to be an expert in tennis to moderate the tennis subforum, right? 🙂

Actually, you don't even need to be a tennis player or an athlete in general.

Steven Clark2 said:That’s not really my point, though; it's about how that subforum is actually managed and developed. I mean, go ahead and explain to me how someone ends up with a partial ban just because their posts "get under the skin" of the moderators, while posts that align perfectly with the moderators' own views somehow never "depend on context"?

Nobody gets banned just because they're annoying someone; users get banned because they repeatedly break the rules and completely ignore moderator warnings and guidelines.

Steven Clark2 said:I'll tell you what I really think about this. Personally, I feel like it’s high time we saw some massive changes within the realm of religion. We need something big, something truly radical. One way to go about that, if you ask me, would be to just shut down religion entirely.

But let's be real—that's never going to happen. Religion is basically split into two distinct sides, where the theological discussions tend to foster a slightly different tone than the stuff you find at its core.
