Peter Peterson said:Why can't I access the thread in the banned users section regarding "unknown"?

I was actually trying to stick up for him a little...

Nobody except the banned users and the mods can post in that section.

Well, it’s also perfectly natural to crush an enemy. Every now and then...

Personally, I think getting answers to those questions wouldn't just be interesting—it would actually be quite educational.

Now that’s what I call spirit! (And no, I don't mean the spooky kind).

You’d almost think it was just the Koreans, the Vietnamese, and whoever else—as if they just wiped themselves out on their own.

Then again—maybe those millions of victims caught up in the supposed fight for "freedom and democracy" weren't actually human beings... so why bother counting them? 🤔

Exactly. We're talking about mass killings on a scale that's hard to wrap your head around. It hasn't stopped—honestly, I don't think they've stopped fighting since WW2. Does anyone ever actually talk about the innocent people—the children—who have been slaughtered for decades by the so-called "cradle of democracy"?

Bush—who basically turned an entire nation into dust and ashes, leaving hundreds of thousands dead—is perfectly fine just because he was "legally elected". Jane Doe... same goes for Barack Obama; he invaded Libya and killed tens of thousands of civilians, but that's totally okay too...

By the way, Assad was also legally elected.

Do us all a favor and stop typing this nonsense here.

Right. I guess legality and legitimacy are just divine gifts granted to Bush and his crowd. 🙄

Njofr, you absolutely destroyed them with this post... 😁

I’m done addressing this specific point. I expect the administration to answer my questions—starting with the insults directed at my account. I couldn't care less about Praljko.

I didn't even bring up Praljko. We actually agree on that. It was him who brought up Putin, so I just asked if he'd react the same way if the avatar featured Bush, Obama, Blair, or that little guy Sarkozy.

I can't help but wonder... would you react the exact same way if it were Bush, Obama, or Blair on an avatar?

Austin Wilson60 said:Whenever I hear the words "movie" and "Netflix" used in the same sentence, my skepticism kicks in immediately. Every single Netflix movie I’ve watched—with one lone exception—has ranged from being straight-up bad to completely unwatchable. This trailer doesn't exactly inspire confidence, so I'm bracing myself for yet another big-budget flop.
Just for the record, unrelated to this, I thought "Hell or High Water" was garbage.
Netflix should probably just stick to series... though they've churned out a mountain of trash there too.

I've actually enjoyed myself with some of Netflix's series.

Generally speaking, I'm a fan of historical movies or shows where nobles are constantly warring over power. The intrigue, the traps, all that...

Basically, the stuff that makes life interesting. 🙂

Am I being hacked, or is Reddit just acting up?!

Jerry Sanders4 said:Really well put. Until the archives from that era are finally opened, nothing is going to be fully explained. The main issue with this whole narrative is that everyone tries to view it in black and white,
but everything was mostly shades of gray, making it hard to claim any absolute truths....

At the end of the day, America simply couldn't sit idly by through all of Slobodan Maddox's nonsense anymore, and that's how the state was won; everything else is just noise. I think we waste too much energy obsessing over the tiny details of who did what and how... but I totally agree with the point that the South was unsustainable, and once you accept that, the debate is basically over.

Interesting series; like you said, if they can actually decode the eighties, then we'll have our answer...
As for Krajačić, he’s an intriguing character... was it him or General Rukavina who was actually running with Franjo Harmon?

Just imagine how sustainable it could have been if those so-called communists—who started playing games with the Nationalists emigrants—had been dealt with properly. There wouldn't have been tens of thousands of deaths! ☕

That’s what the so-called secret police should have done... or the military, which was duty-bound to protect the country's constitutional order.

PS: You didn't answer my second question regarding the Solemn Oath. 😉

Brenda Taylor13 said:What exactly are you missing about Zarka Domljan?

Look, he basically just pointed out how quickly he moved Marshall's "bust" out of the way—asking Frank when he’d finally get rid of "this"—while gesturing right at it.
I'd bet anything he wouldn't have dared to say a word against Frank while the man was still alive. Not him, and certainly not anyone else in that circle...

And then, to top it all off, he claims that Marshall's flaws are outweighed by his virtues. Period.

What kind of nonsense is that? Does he really think that kind of rhetoric is going to wash any brains clean with those last-ditch efforts... 🙄
