"Ocean Spray" is from "Know Your Enemy," which isn't half bad, though you'd probably vibe more with "This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours." I gotta admit, I never actually picked up the albums where Richey played, so I'm pretty out of the loop on their early stuff—aside from a few tracks like "Motorcycle Emptiness" or "Suicide Is Painless."
I honestly never get tired of these. Much like the Die Hard trilogy, it’s got everything you need for a guaranteed mind-blowing ride. Most action flicks these days—if you can even call them that anymore—are just nothing but cheap clichés and over-the-top nonsense.

Hold up a second... Wait, wasn't that idiot from the music video actually run over by a car while they were hauling him back to the San Diego Zoo, and then the news cycle just completely moved on because everyone was too busy freaking out about those toxic little fish? 😢
I was reading that post by redgull44 and it got me thinking.
So... What’s the consensus on this band—do they actually lift your mood, or what? Also, has anyone here actually sat through some Maladroit? I'm curious if they're even worth the runtime. Let's hear it... NOW!
Justin Patel said:coastalorca3, I think you’re taking yourself way too seriously here. The guy dropped a massive chunk of change on this—like 60 mil plus—and since he’s clearly obsessed with kung fu films based on how much he brings them up, this was basically inevitable. He made a movie that’s just pure, unadulterated fun, and hey, if you really feel the need to overthink it, you can try to take it seriously... but personally, I had a blast. Why bother with these deep-dive analyses of Tarantino's wet dreams?
Man, there are always these "individuals" who just can't sit down, grab some popcorn or bite their nails, and actually watch a movie without turning it into a lecture. They're just like those losers who spend all their time nitpicking buttons on Titanic or finding flaws in The Matrix, trying to weave together these endless webs of facts. I'm not talking about Justin Patel.😁
Just finished watching this flick, and man, I gotta say: total BLOOD BATH! 😁 I actually dug it, felt like Tarantino was just staring us down and saying, "You want blood? Here's your damn blood!" Word is from the creator himself that Vol. II is gonna be a bit more chill.
Joe is basically the ultimate rocker. He looks like he turned down a role playing Mike Myers just to go play guitar like Kunta Kinte. I'm not talking about Austin. 😁
I catch SSS whenever they aren't running documentaries on ABC.
I haven't stepped foot in a theater in maybe four months, but for Quentin Tarantino, I’d definitely make the trek out of the house. His editing style has always been a total trip for me, and honestly, he's one of my all-time favorites. I can't help but wonder what kind of soundtrack he's going to cook up this time... 🙂 There is absolutely no way I'm ruining the experience by watching some crappy DivX rip! 🙂
This is how the magic actually happens; first you shoot the whole thing under basically nothing—no sound, no color, just raw footage without any fancy editing—then you take those sequences and dump them into this device called a reckognizzer that hooks up to your PC via USB, and from there you use lip-reading software like ReadLips 3.0 to layer in whatever audio you want, which can be modulated however you see fit. You don't even touch the color until after you've mapped out those imaginary lines that let you separate the moving parts from the static background, and only then can you actually assign colors to specific objects. It’s a process used in tons of modern movies nowadays, something like O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Look, obviously if you want gear that actually works, you're gonna have to shell out some extra cash.
Wuce, does that friend of yours actually dig "Modern Times"?

Oh, wait, "Angel" is actually sung by a guy, Horace Andy! 🙂
