Honestly, just thinking about hitting a heavy set of squats gets me hyped up and ready to go! 🙂

jadetiger962 said:Hey, I actually gave you that exact advice like 5 or 6 posts ago! You clearly aren't paying attention...
Joshua Phillips39 said:Don't roast me too hard... I'm totally new to this and have zero clue what I'm doing. Plus, I don't exactly have all day to spend scrolling through Google results... I'd much rather just get a straight answer from a friendly soul here like 😁
--> so, regarding that Protein, should people trying to cut fat be taking it too, or is it strictly for those of us trying to bulk up?
jadetiger962 said:Honestly, these arguments are just super vague and don't make much sense to me.
1. Not everyone is using the exact same spoons, right?
2. Everyone’s got different scoop sizes.
3. Plus, we aren't all slamming the same brand of Protein.

"we bodybuilders use it as a high protein, and high amino acid supplement"
Nicholas Cox50 said:So, you're saying it’s basically a waste of cash to drop money on protein just for that?
edit: I actually throw in some short sprints about every kilometer or so myself, but honestly, I know tons of guys who play soccer (just for fun, not pro level) and never touch a single weight in the gym, yet their legs are absolutely ripped.

Nicholas Cox50 said:So, I recently started running, and my usual route is about 6-4.4 miles miles. I’m really looking to build up some strength in my legs. A buddy of mine can hook me up with some whey and soy protein blends (not sure who the manufacturer is yet, but I can find out). I’ve been doing a little reading lately, though, and apparently, soy isn't exactly the gold standard?!?!? Just for context, I’m currently sitting at about 172-174lbs and I'm 6'0" tall. How much should I be taking after a workout, and can I realistically expect to see the scale move up a bit over time (maybe hitting 176-178lbs?!?!?).
Noah Anderson said:What a load of nonsense! A day is always exactly the same length—whether it feels long or short depends entirely on how much of a mess your schedule is, not on where the hands are pointing on your watch!😍
jadetiger962 said:It’s just that there's way too much sugar and barely any Whey in it. Seriously, check out the ingredients on this link that guy posted...
Michael Rivera63 said:honestly, those gainers aren't even that bad
A ton of athletes swear by them right before a workout for a quick energy boost or just as a solid post-workout meal.
