And what exactly constitutes an "underground war"?? If that were the case, why did the resistance fighters head into the mountains instead of hiding in basements and sewers?
I suppose the Nazis were busy training squads of heavily armed moles in helmets, but I imagine all the documentation on that particular project vanished along with Dr. Mengele...
