Witty, smart parody.
The acting is solid too (except for maybe three or four scenes involving those one-off bit players).

It’s an "internal parody"—which means if you haven't seen the movies being referenced, the whole thing just feels mindless and dumb. Obviously, besides needing to know the source material, the deciding factor is the viewer's sense of humor and their ability to spot the "illogic, absurdity, or uselessness" in an event—whether in real life or on screen—that inspired the parody in the first place.

No, having a tattoo or whatever has nothing to do with it... It’s like asking if there's a specific "app for masturbation" after downloading a porn movie. Of course there is! Windows Media Player, VLC media player, VLC media player, VLC media player... 🤷

You just need a graphic editing tool.
If the tattoo in your photo is something like this, and you need those "sharp, clean" lines, try using vector graphics software. Inkscape is free and works fine for conversions (there's even a portable version available)...
But if the tattoo is an actual image (like this, for example), then... well, you're going to need something similar to Photoshop (you'll probably need a Photoshop-type program anyway).

Once you have a decent program and if you still can't figure it out, feel free to ask...

Are you suggesting tattooing a "drawn" person? As in, getting someone's likeness from a photo tattooed?

Jamie Stewart said:Can someone give me a quick rundown on how any of these programs actually function? For instance, if I pull something from YouTube, can I just go in and trim the parts I don't want?

Sure, let’s put it that way. You download a 15-minute video from YouTube, but you only want one specific clip—say, a single jump into a pool from a "funny fails" compilation.

I'm downloading AnyVideo right now.
I installed that software and now this CCleaner icon is popping up. Do I actually need it, or can I just ignore it? What is the point of it anyway?

CCleaner serves a purpose, sure, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the AnyVideo converter.
When you install software—especially free stuff—stop clicking "Express Install." It’s a trap. Always choose "Custom Installation" instead. During the process, uncheck every single box and permission for extra junk like toolbars, random banners, or secondary programs. If it isn't strictly necessary for the specific software you're actually installing, get rid of it.

Thanks! 😍

Highlight the text you want to use as a hyperlink, right-click, and then click this -> Click the icon, then type or paste the URL.

Your text will look like this in the "reply box" afterwards:

That arrow (which is actually just a link back to the original post) is generated by that ID number (;43535166) located behind the author's username in the original post. Every single post has its own unique number.

with the number
Python code:
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#007700][[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]=[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]Frank Booth12[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700];[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]43535166[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]]...[/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]] [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]

without the number

Highlight the text you want, then just click the quote icon.

First, click the icon. That should get you what's shown below.
Python code:
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#007700][[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]][/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]] [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]

...pa onda između pejstaš tekst.
To add a quote, just insert an "=" followed by the username of the person you're quoting. It ends up looking like this:
->

Regarding your question about nested quotes, here is what "empty" code looks like:
Python code:
[ICODE][COLOR=#000000] [COLOR=#007700][[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]=[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]x[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]][[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]=[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]y[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]]++++[/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]]- - -[/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]] [/COLOR][/COLOR][/ICODE]

Basically, you just click the icon, move your cursor to where the text goes, and click the icon again. That's it. No pluses, minuses, or extra steps required.
The first username contains the minuses; the second holds the pluses.

jadedrifter2 said:I have a couple of questions:

1. How do I quote a post that’s already quoting someone else? I'm trying to nest them—you know, having one quoted block inside another rather than just stacking them on top of each other.

2. Is there a better way to split up a single post into several different replies while keeping the original author's name attached to each part? Up until now, I've just been manually copying and pasting the username along with those little ID numbers, which is honestly such a chore... is there a faster, more streamlined way to handle this?

Like this:
Python code:

Quoting someone else.[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]I have nothing to add.[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]I want both quoted posts included in my response.
He's an absolute disaster.[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700], [/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]One inside the other.[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]?[/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]][/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]Like this.[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]:[/[/COLOR][COLOR=#0000BB]QUOTE[/COLOR][COLOR=#007700]] [/COLOR][/COLOR]

I don't know any "simpler" method either. You just write everything out, then at the end, paste "=xyz" wherever it needs to go.

It works exactly like text. If the content is short enough, everything stays on one line unless you force a break. If it's too long, the overflow wraps to the next line automatically...
If the images are small enough, they'll stay lined up. If they're too wide for the page width, the right one will naturally drop below the first:

Right. Even though you mentioned 50:50, I really should have written "...the outcome definitely wouldn't be 70:30..." and just fabricated whatever ratio favored your failed login attempts versus the successful ones.

George Vaughn58 said:I don't personally have an issue with logging in, accessing the site, or the page failing to load while the site is actually online.

The problem arises when the site goes offline.

There have been times when the site was offline for a few days at a time.

Yep. "Offline for a couple of days," then "online for a couple of days," then back to "offline for a couple of days." And so on. What was the ratio again? 50:50? 40:60? 95:5? Or maybe just zero?

Whatever this person is doing—or trying to do—everyone else manages to post "every second" without any major issues. I'm not counting minutes or hours here; most of the time there isn't even a single new post on the site for long stretches.

This site isn't the cause of his technical glitches. He’s either exaggerating the issue or he’s essentially causing it himself. Even if we assume it's just bad timing, try logging in and out continuously for 24 hours straight. You wouldn't get a 50/50 split of failures and successes; you'd hit such a streak of errors that you'd eventually lose your mind. And even if you did hit that 50/50 mark, half the results would still favor the site. It comes down to "timing," or more likely, user error.

Once you're logged in, click on your profile picture—say, /right here/—to pull up your user stats. From there, hit "show all statistics" or just check statistics.
Alternatively, if you're signed in, click your username and select "find more posts by..." from the dropdown menu.

Or (while logged in) try clicking "options" at the very top... though even I can't locate exactly what you're looking for there. You might as well give it a shot and see if luck is on your side.

Nicholas King said:You aren't being right🙂. I think you’re fundamentally misunderstanding how the very thing you see as a "forum page" actually renders on your screen.

You're looking at this like a classic hotel breakfast, where the waiter—the forum server, in this case—first gathers everything you want to see onto his own tray, and then brings that tray out to you with the coffee, the croissant, the butter, and everything else. So, if you suddenly decide you want ten pounds of butter, or a hundred different items from a hundred different locations, well... that becomes the waiter's problem, doesn't it? It creates the bottleneck...

Actually, a better comparison might be a buffet: your browser pulls various pieces of information from all sorts of different web servers, and then it simply aggregates them all together on your screen just for your eyes. Everything that isn't physically hosted on the forum's actual server—and keep in mind, photos are usually linked from other servers; the forum server itself just holds the instruction of where to go and what to grab—doesn't impact the congestion of the forum server at all.

I see. Fine. Thanks, 🙂

(It just occurred to me that if I delete my photo from Google's "Picase," the image disappears from this forum too—even though it was—to quote myself—exactly on this forum and "nowhere else". If it were actually hosted here ("on the forum's dime"), then deleting it from "Picase" wouldn't matter)

Harold Taylor6 said:Michelle Alvarez8 makes a solid point. Honestly, the actual size of an image doesn't really impact how the server performs. It’s more about the browser itself—you know, when someone loads a massive thread full of high-res photos for the very first time? If they're browsing on a smartphone, things might get a little sluggish. Maybe we could consider approving specific threads where images are the main attraction and allow larger dimensions there, while keeping everything else on the rest of the site at a standard 640x480.

(Not trying to lecture here, just asking because this doesn't track)
If all of Reddit had only three posts, would the server still be "screwed" (overloaded or whatever)? If yes, fine. If not... then the images visible right there are also strictly on this forum and "nowhere else," just like the text of the posts themselves is strictly on this forum and "nowhere else." 🤷

I don't need a technical breakdown. A simple "you're wrong" is plenty—there's Google if I actually cared about the details.

I rarely post images or GIFs anyway, so I highly doubt the entire site is going to crash because of one single file.

Besides, even if the servers are already running on fumes, I’d much rather look at an image in these dimensions than the ones being suggested.

Nothing. 🤷
I responded because your post was basically saying, "Quote: Violently happy"What a bunch of idiots. Rude.Dammit, I hope you all rot!")

The site isn't going to collapse just because of one person.

Not even for a few specific threads—which would actually deserve that "privilege"—would I suggest it. Having images at an 800px width would serve the purpose of those topics much better.

It’s much better seeing the actual dimensions in this photo rather than just looking at the suggested ones.

Same here. Most threads aren't even my cup of tea, and a 640px width is overkill—often completely unnecessary for the amount of info being shared.
