Period talk: Questions and advice in Women's Health ·
coppermarlin13 said:Oh, come on, 🤣🤣🤣

When things are running dry, you take whatever you can get, right? 🤣🤣🤣

And looks like you're going through a bit of a drought yourself... a long, long, difficult drought... 🤣🤣

True enough. And you're being pretty mean just because you're laughing at me. 😢

Some people are just talking nonsense. 😁

Sex can happen anytime, anywhere—all you really need is the desire 😁 whether you're with a partner or by yourself. 🥳

It’s not even because I have them too ( 😁 ), it's just how natural they feel to me. Honestly, I was actually pretty happy when they started showing up again after I gained a few pounds..

I think it's totally fine 😍

There’s no magic pill for hair loss. Even those products claiming to slow things down are pretty hit-or-miss. Your best bet is actually:

That sounds like something I might actually enjoy. 😬

It’s definitely a smart move to step back once you’ve finished the heavy lifting. 😁

😕 They just drink plenty of water and handle their paperwork whenever they need to take a bathroom break. 😁 Clear urine is usually just a sign that someone’s staying hydrated. Honestly, it's no big deal—sometimes a little bit of that can actually be pretty hot. 😬

Nah. I can't even imagine what would happen... especially if they were writing that while trying to deal with a massive amount of water right before hooking up.

placidjackal36 said:Fair enough. But if you go that route, drink plenty of water. 🙂 Urine is hypertonic. On top of being concentrated, it’s basically toxic because it's loaded with urea and all those organic compounds the body is trying to dump as waste.
It wouldn't be doing your kidneys any favors.
As for sterility, sure, urine in the bladder is sterile, but it picks up bacteria the moment it starts making its way out.

Look, toxin concentration varies from person to person depending on a lot of different things. Regardless, nobody is actually drinking their own urine every day. What's the point of this debate? 🙂

there's something about the scent of your skin that bothers them
that might be why certain types of alcohol seem to work😉 since they contain Vitamin B too

They never actually bite me. Not once. 🙂 But the buzzing is driving me crazy and keeping me up at night. What are you all using to keep them away? Are there any good herbal supplements out there?

If you're looking for a specific neurologist, your best bet is to show up when they're running their outpatient clinic. They'll take you in, go through everything, and then you should be all set to move forward under their care automatically.

Honestly, from what I've seen, you aren't going to find anyone quite like Dr. House—or even someone close to that level—among the neurologists in America.

Fair point, that’s quite a stretch. I'll try looking in Washington, D.C. first; I'm sure they have something similar there.

From what I've seen, even with Dr. House or someone like him, you aren't going to find that kind of specialist among neurologists here in America.

I was just kidding. I know I won't find anyone like that anywhere.😁

Just one more thing: which hospitals or private clinics have a Siemens CT scanner called the Leonardo?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid neurologist in Washington, D.C.? It doesn't necessarily have to be Dr. House, but I'm looking for someone with that level of expertise. 😁

Also, am I allowed to specifically request a certain neurologist when I'm at the hospital?

They're the official partners for the US National Team across soccer, water polo, swimming, tennis, and track and field.

At the end of the day, anything that falls under the category of actual "food" isn't going to be an issue with doping regulations.
Getting in shape with exercise and diet... thoughts? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
fadedmason16 said:I don't have any prejudices

There isn't really such a thing as "athlete nutrition"; there's just healthy eating. Aside from the fact that athletes might use protein shakes and generally eat more calories—though I'm not sure where you got that idea about calorie reduction—they basically eat the same way anyone else would if they wanted to stay healthy. It sounds like you've got the wrong idea here.

What they eat is actually quite limited... plus, they aren't exactly professional chefs 🤣, so whatever.

Prejudices. 😉 Why do you think it's limited? 😉
Joseph Ward16 said:Can someone please tell me how facial nerve inflammation starts? What are the first warning signs?

Facial numbness. Honestly, trying to have sex is a pretty good litmus test—if things aren't working quite right, you'll know.😁
