I suppose it’s that shooting scene where he’s standing on the table. They didn't bother replacing him, mostly because there just wasn't any reason to; the movie wasn't being filmed in chronological order, and pretty much everything had already been shot.
I suppose you all haven't bothered to read the solutions posted over at AdBlock Plus? Since I installed it, this forum has been running incredibly fast for weeks now.
It isn’t really about hardcoding subtitles, rather it is more about injecting them using a different format entirely, all without having to resort to re-encoding the video. So, I suppose one should probably steer clear of using ConvertXtoDVD.
-Right-click on the post number located in the top right corner (#?) -Use your left click to select Copy Link Location -Then, I suppose you just need to paste that link directly into whichever post you want to include it in.
As far as I can tell, my AdBlock Plus setup on the forum is still running without any issues, though I suppose I haven't checked the exact date lately.
When you process video by changing its format, which inherently forces a codec change, you end up triggering a full re-encoding process that wastes a significant amount of time and inevitably degrades the visual quality. I suppose that is why some people prefer to seek out solutions that bypass encoding altogether, allowing them to merge or trim clips without actually touching the underlying data.
It is a classic, and frankly quite chronic, mistake when people ask for help; they simply fail to mention which video format they are actually dealing with. If the file happens to be in .avi format, you might be able to join them using VirtualDub mod without needing to re-encode anything, much like how you could potentially use MpegStreamClip if you are working with an .mpg file.
Well, I suppose it’s day two for AdBlock+, and so far, everything seems to be running without any major hitches. 😁 It isn't just limited to this specific forum, either; it's actually managing to handle a vast array of other websites that are absolutely cluttered with intrusive advertisements.
I suppose Windows is throwing up those warnings about potential malware, but if I were you, I’d just ignore them entirely. It’s highly probable they simply haven't greased the palms of the folks at Microsoft, so the OS is acting a bit skittish. The forum is still buzzing away; I've been browsing through various threads that I honestly didn't have the energy to touch lately because everything has been running so painfully slow. 😁
I suppose I haven't really encountered any significant issues regarding the site's loading speed, though I did occasionally run into those annoying 403 or 404 error messages from time to time. However, over the last ten days or so, there was a noticeable decline in performance that seemed to peak during the last forty-eight hours. I guess everything is running smoother than ever now, knock on wood. 😁
I didn't actually change any of my settings; I simply installed AdBlock+ on Firefox, and the issue seemingly vanished instantly. Now, this forum seems to be loading significantly faster than it ever has before. I suppose we will just have to wait and see whether this was merely a coincidence, perhaps something related to the server, or if it is truly due to that new Add-on.
Over the last few days, things have been absolutely unbearable, and I suppose it’s become barely even usable—honestly, it feels even worse than back when we were stuck dealing with dial-up internet speeds.
I suppose you should just stick with the ones you already own. On YouTube 3D, you can simply select the viewing mode that actually matches your specific glasses.
As far as timing goes, 3D goes all the way back to the 1800s. It's hardly some brand-new tech.
I believe I said it was overlooked, not unknown. It hasn't been used much for several well-documented reasons, though I guess that landscape is shifting. I see people listing all sorts of arguments against it, but it seems to me those complaints aren't really about 3D itself; rather, they seem to stem from the playback technology, which varies quite a bit depending on whether you are at a movie theater or using various home setups—active versus passive systems and so on.
I voted for him, since I suppose that high-quality 3D implementation in the film does provide that extra dimension it was seemingly lacking. Unfortunately, I suspect it might take quite a while before genuine, high-quality 3D actually becomes the industry standard, mostly because people still seem to rely far too heavily on those cheap various conversions.
I suppose you have a point regarding the anaglyph effect and the color accuracy issues, but unfortunately, that remains the only way most people can actually watch these YouTube videos, since 3D hardware isn't exactly widespread here in the States yet. I am not suggesting that Over / Under is a bad option in general; in fact, I guess it might even be a better choice for those viewing 3D video on passive glasses systems.
Well, if we look at the side-by-side format—where each frame sits at a resolution of 960x1080—most people watching on YouTube tend to use the anaglyph method anyway, so I suppose that might actually result in a superior version. With the Over / Under layout, I feel like the aliasing on the horizontal lines becomes much more pronounced and distracting. It seems we are circling back to my initial point; I guess the perceived image quality is determined more by the total number of lines rather than just the pixel count per line.
