Look, guys, before you go flooding us with requests to change your handles, just do me a favor and read the opening post of this thread first. We aren't just repeating ourselves for the hell of it; all the guidelines and rules regarding whether your request gets the green light or hits a wall are laid out right there in that first post. Seriously, don't make us have to flag your request or deal with it manually just because you were too lazy to give the first post a quick read.
Amy Cook29 said:So, basically... 🙂 Since I’m obsessed with animals and nature, I decided to turn my house into a little kingdom for dead animals LOL (yeah, sounds weird, but just keep reading)...
Honestly, thank God you added that part about keeping on reading, because that seriously sounded super creepy 😁, almost like you were 🤣 about to start a cult or something.
Look, you can't just go in there and swap out your username on your own. You're gonna have to head over to this specific thread (Username Change Requests) and drop a formal request in there, but before you do any of that, you really should probably make sure you read the very first post in that thread.
Man, you just bumped a thread from five years ago and somehow managed to land in the completely wrong subforum too, 🤦 this is the spot for technical support, not a place to vent about your relationship drama or whatever.
You can actually check out all those threads you started by heading over to your profile section - Statistics - find all topics - under where it says all topics started by mentalny . Now, if you're looking to keep an eye on any thread where you drop a reply, just jump into your edit options and look under the default Thread Subscription mode setting - No email notification. That way, whenever you post a response to a thread, it'll just pop up right there on your dashboard automatically.
Maybe you should try clearing out your cookies too, honestly it’s probably best if you just run CleanMyMac to handle all that junk, might actually help things along a bit.
Like what jadetrucker43 was getting at earlier, I guess what people really need to wrap their heads around is that having clone accounts isn't strictly off-limits, provided you aren't using them to dodge a ban or breaking the rules with them, and honestly, as long as you aren't just sitting there talking to yourself in the same thread, which would be pretty pathetic.
Look, I guess it’s just not really on the table to go around sniffing out who belongs to whom or trying to figure out whose clone is whose, and honestly, if that’s where this whole line of questioning is headed, then it’s just a hard no from me.
jadetrucker43 said:It’s working perfectly fine for me. I just click on , it turns into , which effectively means the number of quotes you want minus one. Then, once I'm done, I just hit on the last one and boom—everything is bundled into a single post. Simple enough, right?
Lisa Myers said:I'm doing the exact same thing, I swear...🤷
Alright, let me try this again... I'll quote both your post and mine using that method. Only mine should show up. Watch this 🤣:

See, it works perfectly for me just like what jadetrucker43 was saying.
So, he was showing me these pictures, and I guess maybe you just need to be logged into your Gmail or something to see them 🙂 Just jump in if you actually have something useful to add 🙂
I went ahead and renamed the thread so everyone knows what's actually going on here.
I can't for the life of me remember which link it was, but I'm seeing the pictures on my end, Brian Edwards6? I guess you probably have to be logged into your Gmail or something for them to show up.
Anyway, regarding that signature stuff, just shoot me a DM if there's anything you want me to tweak or change.🙂
So, there’s been some tweaks made to the rules regarding nickname changes, so if you're looking to swap yours out, you really ought to go over the first post in this thread before doing anything else...
The big thing you need to know—and I mean this part is actually pretty important—is that once we give you the green light for a change, when you reach out to rustydrifter10 via DM, you absolutely have to include the direct link to the specific post where the change was approved. *you can find that link in the bottom right corner of any post, just click on the post number itself
It was just about an initial in the actual nickname, I guess. And as for that change you made, honestly, Daniel Perez6 looks way better than Urbana with a period, at least if you ask me.🙂
So, if you look right above my post, there's actually one of those ways to figure out how to land on that perfect size—you know, something smaller than 640px. I guess it might help you out if you're struggling with the dimensions.
So, I guess if that picture isn't just some tiny little thing but is actually massive, like, huge, then you're probably gonna have to download the whole thing onto your computer first and then just upload Now using some kind of server or whatever. So, you basically just download the image to your computer, then you head over to... ImgurSo, you just go ahead and upload Now, I guess, and then you'll see the option pop up right there. ResizeSo, I guess you just pick the 640x480 option and hit the button, right? upload Now.
Once you get that thing uploaded, you just grab the code from Getty Images and copy it over, I guess.
Nicole Sullivan94 said:I checked the rules. There’s nothing mentioned about a maximum length for a new username. 🤷
Also, I'm not asking to add any special characters to the handle. 🤷
If it's possible, I'd appreciate it if my username could be changed to But, nothing is everything!.
If there actually is a character limit for updated usernames, you should probably just put that in the rules... avoid the confusion.
And yeah, if the length is such a huge issue, I'll settle for Nicole Sullivan94. Just with the exclamation point.
EDIT: just noticed the user above me had a period added to her new handle. 🙂 Good to know.
Nick is just way too long. The system caps registrations at 15 characters max—and yeah, spaces count toward that total—so we kind of have to stick to a certain length if we want things to actually work. As for that period you mentioned, that’s a bit of a weird edge case since it was just an initial. Special characters aren't allowed when you're doing corrections, but honestly, I don't really see a way to change yours without losing the whole vibe or making it look totally different, though I guess on the flip side, you'd be getting rid of one extra character.
Anyway, just hit up rustydrifter10 about this second Nicole Sullivan94
