It probably got nuked. You might want to check with the mods to see what happened. 🙂
Tijs Verwest As if to say: It’s become a bit of a habit, really—one of those subtle, repetitive patterns that just starts to feel like second nature after a while. čHey there. ☕

The only logical explanation is that they're running backups in stages, since a database this massive would likely take far too long to process all at once.
The forum migrated from an American server to a local one, so things feel snappy for now, though I suspect we'll see it lag once the traffic picks up. Eventually, it'll probably migrate to a server in somewhere like rural Nebraska or maybe even Alaska. :vidovitimilan:

As it stands, tags aren't actually functional on this specific site yet, even if you stumble upon mentions of them somewhere.
That's true. It really just takes a single click in the Admin Panel to get them up and running here. 😁
By the way, I logged on today and noticed the site feels a bit snappier. Turns out you guys migrated from an American server over to a local one. 😲

It’s just another perk of having a black username—you get a much larger inbox and can actually use the search engine without hitting a cooldown timer after every single query... 😍
And you can still check out a detailed user profile, right? 🙂
William Green4 said:The admins have access.... they can see deleted posts, your IP address, and the host you're connecting from—that’s really the extent of their visibility. as for the system administrator, they can also read private messages, though that capability is restricted for everyone else.
That’s right. It’s much like how local moderators can view any messages a user deletes within their specific sub-forum. Meanwhile, super-moderators have a broader reach and can see all deleted content across the board.
Of course, all of these permissions are adjustable within the ACME Corp settings.... 🙂
Olivia Moore51 said:On certain subreddits, people actually track your post count, treating those little green squares like some kind of digital trophy case. The ratings seem to be about where things stand, if I recall correctly. 😁
It isn't really a matter of having many posts anymore. 🙂 There's an icon shaped like a scale appearing on my screen. It’s essentially like hitting that upvote button on Reddit to grant someone reputation points—those little green badges you see next to a profile. The more points you hand out, the higher their standing climbs.
bluerider2 said:Not everyone does. YouTube (formerly vBulletin) actually lets you hide links within your own profile posts if you want to.
I wouldn't know, honestly—I’ve never actually managed that specific forum. My experience with admin and mod tools has mostly been limited to working on vBulletin, vBulletin, MyBB, and vBulletin. 🙂

I only play the "clueless" card when it's convenient, but otherwise, I know my stuff. And vividfalcon14, thank you so much!
restlessmoose5 said:What a mess; it’s like this whole forum is trying to be Facebook, just a big crowd of people shouting at once. That’s usually a recipe for disaster...
It isn't just this one. Most forum software follows that same pattern, at least based on my experience running or moderating them. 🙂
