As I previously stated, removing the signature was merely a suggestion intended to de-escalate the situation. No one is actually insisting on it.

Regarding the rest, I find myself unable to agree, which is why his posts are being scrutinized. In your initial grievance, you speak of threats of mass sexual assault directed specifically at you, and then go on to mention the numerous women assaulted by insurgents. Based on those claims, you are demanding a total overhaul of Sun Tzu's principles. Given how dramatic your interpretation was, this entire "gang bang" business had to be addressed.

Sun Tzu72 has been banned via a custom cardboard cutout for trolling and issued a warning to cease such behavior. I trust this matter is settled and won't recur; if I am mistaken, we will deal with it should it happen again.

I consider this matter closed, so I am locking the thread.
To resolve this situation, I have conducted consultations with the policy moderators and several other members of the administration team.
First, as my colleagues have already pointed out within this thread, a Gangbang is not rape; it is a group encounter and cannot be treated as a threat of sexual assault. Even if our colleague had utilized the term "gang-rape," we would have suspected he wasn't being literal, so there is no need to dwell on that distinction. However, I have absolutely no doubt that mentioning a Gangbang contained trolling elements intended to imply a sort of retaliation following the change in leadership. Consequently, sun-tzu72 will be sanctioned, and he will be asked to refrain from using such terms—or any contextually similar expressions—in the future.

There is one more thing that warrants mention. It is well known that there is a certain "history of conflict" between the two of you—a mutual friction where both sides play a part. This is clearly evident, among other things, in your signature. To be clear, since you are quoting him directly without distorting his words, it isn't strictly prohibited. Nonetheless, I have no doubt that your intention is to provoke him. Therefore, in the interest of "burying the hatchet" as a gesture of goodwill to ease these tensions, I would appeal—though not demand—that you remove your signature.

In any case, I am asking both of you to exercise particular caution when addressing one another. Furthermore, I have requested that the moderators keep a close watch on this; should further friction manifest through undesirable communication patterns, they are expected to discourage it through swift and decisive moderator intervention.
Understood, thanks for the report. I'll take a look at this and determine the next steps. 👍

Why was Clarion banned? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
There’s an old Japanese proverb that suggests when you’re part of a board, you should never be the one sticking out, because that’s the first person who gets hit by the hammer.
In any case, out of genuine concern for your fellow forum member, I decided to run a little investigation. It turns out you two are actually the same person, and you already have enough bans to field a small-town soccer team.
Why was Clarion banned? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
There shouldn't be any threads opened regarding other people's accounts or bans.
If Clarion feels the urge, they could certainly start a discussion about Chase, though I doubt they will, given how smoothly things have gone for them with this particular card.

The helmet features a stunning paint job. 🙏 Honestly, it’s surprisingly high-quality compared to what we usually see. It actually reminds me of the superior finish you'd find on premium motorcycle helmets, like those from Shoei or Vemar.
The term "NATO shill" has been used in two consecutive posts. One was censored, while the other wasn't, simply because the spacing between them was minimal. If this pattern continues, we will have to tighten the sanctions.
Labeling the Ukrainian government as a group of Hitler supporters is certainly not an acceptable way to express oneself; our moderators keep a close eye on when and why such language is used, intervening whenever they deem it necessary.
However, as you are well aware, we do not offer moderation on demand. The moderators are not some sort of jukebox that plays tunes upon request.
It is up to you to use the report button for anything that requires attention, and then simply be patient.
What are we waiting for? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
One certainly shouldn't go around labeling people as fascists without cause. I think it's best if I take some time to look into what actually happened.

I feel we have exhausted this subject entirely, and I would prefer to step away rather than descend into pointless bickering.

Data, my friend. We need data.

This entire thread is so utterly pointless that it shouldn't have just been closed; it should have been moved straight to the Trash bin.

Furthermore, I personally believe that preventing the misuse of God for such cheap attempts at political grandstanding is actually a moderator move intended to benefit believers rather than serve as a litmus test.
Moderating political discussions requires far more scrutiny and effort than anyone on the outside could possibly fathom. The question you’ve posed, which implies biased moderation, is both leading and fundamentally inaccurate—not to mention offensive.
Furthermore, suggesting that Obama is the President is about as redundant as saying water is wet.
Once his term concludes, the headline will adjust itself accordingly.
There is already a dedicated thread for appealing penalties; there is no need to preemptively file an appeal.
I must ask you to stop spamming by repeatedly reopening closed threads, as doing so will result in formal warnings. This is a private forum, not some public Vox Populi poll; once an admin or moderator closes a thread, it remains closed.
Following a brief consultation with the moderation team, several titles have been adjusted to address the requests made here.
I would sincerely ask that we refrain from making mountains out of molehills regarding entirely trivial matters in the future; the Politics moderators already have quite enough on their plates.
The request to standardize the thread titles has been noted. The administrator, who is overseeing this discussion, will follow up shortly with a formal announcement.
My thanks to everyone for participating.
Let us refrain from engaging in political debates here for the time being.

I’m browsing via Tapatalk, so signatures aren't showing up on my end. If he’s gone ahead and restored that signature, it will just be stripped away again, and he’ll find himself facing another strike.

Locking this (and I won't forget). 😁

If a signature is deemed an insult, then issuing a penalty card should also include immediate removal from the game. You can't just hand out a yellow card and then hold onto someone's signature as some sort of compensatory measure. 😉

Folks, we are right in the thick of election season. Everyone is on edge, and the emotional tension is running much higher than usual. Just be mindful of how you phrase things and try not to take the bait from trolls, and we’ll get through this just fine.

Furthermore, given the circumstances, the moderators have been instructed to be extra vigilant, so expect a surge in bans over the next few days.

Additionally, opening a new thread on the main board without first reporting controversial posts via the flag icon at least 24 hours in advance isn't the way to handle things here.

I'm losing my mind.
It isn't actually a new rule; it’s just that the moderators can't always jump on a report immediately. There are certain necessary verifications and fact-checking steps that have to happen first. But, in this instance, I stepped in myself and realized you were absolutely right.
