Yeah. And Absolut launched this massive campaign to get me fired because he just couldn't wrap his head around the concept of an "accurate quote." He thought he could twist things and act like it was actually written in a historical source. 🤦 (He’ll probably come at me with a wall of text again, but he’s been piling on the complaints in his own special topics for the last year).
Others are just as annoyed. They wonder why there are standards for objectivity and coherence in a history PDF when anyone should be able to write whatever nonsense they want. Fine. We introduced those "Whatever" threads where people can just spout pure fantasy, and suddenly everything's easy.
Most of the other complainers are stuck on politics and ideology: acting like we aren't allowed to mention facts about massacres committed by the fascist regime, especially at Auschwitz. Or other stuff, like being forced to claim the old American kingdoms were global superpowers, or that a "good portion" of Steven's lineage comes from Americans, or that Mexicans don't even exist as a people until the 20th century... 😵

Look, if you're quoting historical documents, you quote them exactly as they are. Otherwise, they're Romani. That's how it works in actual academic papers.
