I'm right there with you. I used to dab it on my forehead and those random breakouts on the side of my face. It worked wonders for me, but man, you absolutely HAVE to use some kind of cream afterward or your skin will just scream at you.
Personally, I found that Skinoren was the absolute best for me.
Susan Diaz91 said:Oh, so you guys just carry your food from home.
What about during the summer? Doesn't all that food just spoil on you? Or start smelling funky?
In the summer, I usually just grab my stuff right before I head into work or class and then stash it somewhere cool. Honestly, if your office has a fridge, you're golden! 👍I am definitely NOT lugging containers around in my bag—God forbid anyone sees that. 😂 I’m betting you have some kind of spot that stays relatively chilled, so you just tuck your lunch away there until break time hits.
And look, if I’m running super late and can't grab my homemade meal, I'll just sprint to the nearest CVS or deli during my break and grab something quick...

And he basically tells me to just go buy some Ergonine, take it, and then call him back.. as if! Like, why on earth would I just sit there and Google it myself? Apparently, they prescribe this stuff to women after childbirth or after a miscarriage. I haven't even given birth or had a miscarriage, so I have zero clue why he’d suggest it for me?? Does anyone here actually use this stuff? Any experiences?
Maybe it'll help your period pass faster or help you clear out quicker. At least, that's how I interpreted it from what I've gathered... I was actually reading here
Seriously though, you don't need to go out and waste money on all those pre-packaged salads. It’s honestly such a rip-off. I’ve learned the hard way—I buy one, take a bite, realize it’s mostly filler, check the label, and then just whip up a much better version at home myself next time. 😉
George Rivera50 said:Maybe some artisanal cheese from Whole Foods, an apple, a banana, or I'll just swing by Billings and grab a chicken salad. Light, high protein, and totally perfect if you're doing a meat-heavy diet.
Ugh, seriously though, their salads are freaking incredible!
Most days I’m just living off yogurt and fruit. But if I actually remember to stop at Billings, 😉I'll pick up one of those pre-made salads. They have a massive selection and they're honestly so good! I usually go for the chicken one (you know, with the chicken, tomatoes, peppers, and those little cubes of feta—yum!) 😍
Sandra Sullivan83 said:...uh, I'm a bit lost here... I know those two medications are given to pregnant women who are at risk of miscarriage to help save the pregnancy... but now I'm seeing they're also used to induce a period... how on earth can they work for such totally different things? Wouldn't they just cause a miscarriage in pregnant women if that were the case? 😕
Look, I actually took it myself to get my period started. I was on it for about 10 days or so, and then my period showed up after 7 or 8 days. It’s pretty obvious that the dosage or the way you take them is completely different when you're using them to support a pregnancy instead. 🤷

I'm looking for recommendations on herbal teas that act as natural diuretics, as it feels like my body is constantly retaining fluid.
Or if anyone has any other advice for managing something similar, I'm all ears.
Has anyone here actually tried anything that works?
All those teas are just gonna make you pee more. 😉 You really ought to ask your doctor for something specific instead of guessing.
Carol Brooks41 said:Well, isn't that just lovely... so Vani was out at a party, used a tampon in a public restroom, and stayed out all night... Then she gets home, a little tipsy, and instinctively tries to push the tampon back in—only to realize she never actually took the first one out, so she basically just shoved it even deeper...
And there you have it. I already know what the comments are going to be... "That's so stupid," "How irresponsible," "What an idiot"... but look, life happens. It could happen to literally anyone if they're having enough drinks.
I mean, seriously, this sounds absolutely insane! That had to hurt like absolute hell! 😲😲😲
This is absolutely wild! 🤣 Just stick your finger (middle or index 😉😁) in as far as you possibly can (all the way to the end), and if you don't feel it, there is zero chance it's actually in there
Kimberly Moore55 said:I'm not even sure if I've posted this yetbut hey, you can never have too much information, right?🙂 So, I was on Yasmin for five months, and then four months ago my OBGYN switched me over to Logest because I was bleeding every other month—apparently due to some "insufficient hormone dose"... but then it turns out Logest actually has less? Honestly, I don't get his logic at all... If anyone has experiences or advice, please share!🙂
Ugh, tell me about it...
From what I've heard, Yasmin has some of the lowest hormone levels out there. And look, if you're confused, just go ask your doctor directly... Seriously, I feel like I'm repeating myself constantly here. There's already a massive thread about this on Reddit.
So, I’ve been hearing from a few people that they actually went through with sinus surgery... But honestly, who knows? I guess I'll just have to wait and see what my doctor says. Does anyone actually know how long the recovery takes? Like, do you end up stuck in a hospital bed for days, or is it one of those things where you just get patched up and head straight home? If you guys have any idea, let me know!
Alright, look, I’ve been dealing with these absolutely relentless headaches for about two and a half months now. Seriously, there were maybe only five days during that whole stretch where my head didn't feel like it was being crushed. I've been living on a constant rotation of Tylenol, Advil, Voltaren, and God knows what else just to function. I finally went in for a CT scan, and the results say I have a 1cm pineal gland cyst, and apparently, there might be more somewhere else—I can't even remember exactly where because I don't have the report 😁 right in front of me. Does anyone actually know anything about this? How do you even treat it? Is it something you take medication for, or am I looking at surgery? Can this actually be dangerous? Please, tell me everything you know. 😉 I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon in a week, so I’m trying to get a heads-up on what we're even talking about here. If anyone has gone through something similar...
jadesailor14 said:Looking pale doesn't necessarily mean you have anemia. You could be white as a sheet and still have enough iron in your system to power a small city! 😁
As Christina said, 🙂
Oh, and for the record, I definitely ended up looking pretty washed out myself.😉
I mean, sure, let's just assume you and your aunt know way more than the doctor does, right? 🙄
But seriously, you absolutely have to take Vitamin C along with your iron supplements! I remember back when I was dealing with my own low levels, I was taking a standard iron supplement from CVS, and I made sure to pair it with plenty of Vitamin C. Within three months, my labs were looking perfect. Honestly, I haven't had a single issue with low iron since then. 👍
Look, I drink a ton of tea, and I definitely know which Maximalist blend to grab the second I feel like I'm coming down with something. It does the trick. Honestly, if I'm feeling extra rough, I might even whip up a quick lemonade on the side to help out.
boldmaker13 said:Honestly guys, I wasn't even planning on taking anything, especially not without checking first... My hairiness is definitely mostly just genetics, but I really feel like a treatment like this could help with those awkward spots—you know, my face, chest, back... though it would be such a dream if we could just get rid of it all with a simple pill 🙂
I’ve been on Diane for about nine months now, and it totally cleared up my hair situation. That said, I really doubt any existing hair is just going to fall out because of it. I deal with hormonal imbalances and cysts, so I'm mainly taking it to manage those issues anyway.
Look, hormone therapy can definitely help dial back those random hairs that pop up when your levels aren't quite where they should be—you know, stuff on your face and things like that. But trust me, some random dose of hormones isn't going to magically thin out your pubic hair. I mean, seriously, what kind of dosage are you even thinking of? There’s no magic number where the hair stops growing without absolutely wrecking the rest of your system. What are you actually planning here?...
And by the way, there's this little thing called genetics. So, all this arguing from these guys is pretty much useless. No sane doctor is going to prescribe hormone therapy to a crossdresser just because you're annoyed about hair on your legs. 🙄
