Look, if they claim to cover the music scene, then they should actually write reviews instead of just providing a glorified calendar of events. If they can't snag press credentials a second time, they should just buy a ticket like the rest of us instead of begging for favors—that's what "covering the scene" is supposed to mean. And having them there as an afterthought is just wrong. I honestly suspect these kinds of journalists are being bribed, which basically forces them to hunt for credentials just to stay afloat. But selling out your profession like that is bad for all of us (and frankly, it’s a total bargain 😉).
This track is an absolute banger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q1e3...eature=related I’ve listened to plenty of lo-fi, scattered albums, so it’s hard to pick a single "best" one, but I definitely ended up making my own custom compilation from their discography. What a fantastic band. And don't even get me started on the compressor: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5_1A...eature=related 🙂
I’ll give credit to that Drumcorps guy. If we’re being technical, it falls under metalcore 😕 Honestly, I feel more of a connection to them than I ever did with Converge. (And those Caliban types? They were just opening for Kreator. Honestly, they should be banned from playing in Chicago since they announced their tour... total nonsense 🙂)
The energy was completely dead, like a drained car battery. There wasn't even a hint of her charisma—just pure hostility—and those sweaty guys on stage? They didn't bring anything to the table either. 😁 Maybe in some tiny dive bar with maybe 100 or 200 people there would have been a spark, but it doesn't really matter. I hope you all at least had a good time.
It felt a bit... "trippy," if you know what I mean! 🤷 The DJ was definitely the highlight ☕ As for the music... hmmm... the guitarist really gave it his all, but the rest was just alright. The DJ 🙄
It was an awesome time, especially since it only cost $5.00... though personally, I’d be willing to pay 10 🙂
"finally we are no one" is pure magic to me! How could anyone call it anything but trash? Sure, you can use a computer to craft mathematically perfect music, but what’s the point if there’s no alchemy involved? Not that I’m questioning your songwriting skills, though.
The first time I caught them live, maybe 13 years ago, there were only about 7 or 8 of us in the crowd, but they played like they were headlining a sold-out Madison Square Garden show🙂! I haven't seen them since, and honestly, my soul is still aching for it...
Thanks for checking in! I actually went in for more blood work today since I’ve hit the 60-day mark on my treatment (still got 30 to go)... Honestly, I'm starting to worry if these pills are doing more harm than good. My doctor is incredibly nonchalant whenever I try to bring up potential side effects. I just stumbled upon an article regarding these medications: http://www.webmd.com/ Have a look if you want to dig into it... apparently, they can be tough on the kidneys and liver,👎 which isn't exactly comforting news! My main concern is whether I'll regret this kind of heavy-duty therapy later in life. Is it actually better to just live with a nail fungus that keeps cycling back to my skin two or three times a year—something I manage with creams (even though the itching gets pretty unbearable)—or is the risk worth taking? Is there really any reason to panic?
Wishing us both plenty of luck in getting through this!🙂😉
I was diagnosed with mild anxiety and prescribed a month's worth of Prozac and Xanax. I decided to ditch the pills entirely and signed up for a Kryu course—it’s basically the art of living. It was just a short breathing workshop, but man, it helped me so much! This isn't some fluff or "woo-woo" nonsense either. I truly recommend it; if you can, find a way to clear out all that built-up stress and negative energy using a natural method like this.
There are instructors in New York, Chicago, Miami, Austin, and Denver, so just do a little digging online.
