Before, I used to get this little slip of paper every month just to pick up my pills. What’s the drill now? Like, am I supposed to call them every single month or what..?
I think I read somewhere that if you're feeling nauseous because your equilibrium is totally off, it’s actually better to look out the window at the trees passing by instead of just staring straight ahead.
Nah... I honestly just thought it was a waste of time, so I figured I'd ask here. Turns out (just checked) that user got banned anyway, so it’s kind of a moot point now. But still, just wanted to know for next time..
Some guy on this thread is being super passive-aggressive toward me, basically trying to trash my reputation by spreading lies. It’s annoying because now nobody is taking my posts seriously. Since it isn't straight-up harassment but more just flat-out lying, does it even make sense to report it?
Honestly, I have even less respect for the people who keep a stash of Xanax at home and act like it’s totally fine to pop them whenever, yet they turn around and judge anyone who actually relies on them.
Back when I first started dealing with anxiety, I was a complete mess—just lost and spiraling. My biggest mistake, though, was thinking everything would just fix itself if I ignored it 🙄. I remember talking to this one close friend of mine once; she was one of my inner circle, and she suggested I take some Xanax just to deal with my "stress and tension." I thought about it, but I was too terrified to just start self-medicating without help (good for me for having that gut instinct 🙂), so I turned her down. Once I finally had to face reality and admit that things weren't getting better and that I had a real issue, I basically "came out" about it to my boyfriend, my parents, and my girlfriends. Just the people closest to me... but that same girl who offered me the pills? She completely lost any sense of empathy and reacted so poorly. If I could take back that confession, I would. But hey, what's done is done. We didn't even speak for a while, and while we're cool now, things aren't what they used to be. Not to mention, she’s never once bothered to ask how I’m actually doing mentally.
The rest of my circle was really supportive, but this whole thing changed me. It made me way more guarded about my mental health. I’d much rather people think I’m being lazy or rude than let my guard down only to have them treat me like I'm crazy. And I'm not. But if someone doesn't get it, I'm not going to waste my breath explaining. The people who truly know me, know who I am. As for everyone else? I honestly don't give a damn 🙂
I mean, there’s a massive difference between getting implants in your chest and putting silicone in your brain. It’s not like you’re using those same boobs to do your thinking, right? 😬 And honestly, from what I can tell, you’d basically be a walking science experiment. Getting a boob job is pretty routine these days, but this? Not so much.
So, either really think this through and skip the surgery entirely, or save up some serious cash and fly to a top-tier specialist in NYC or LA who actually knows what they're doing.
Thomas Rodriguez14 said:So I called my surgeon and he gave me the green light. Said it's totally doable, but I gotta keep in mind that the ink might look a little lighter on that spot—just a heads up.😁
Honestly, among preteens—you know, that 10 to 12 age range—it’s actually pretty trendy to leave a little bit of white showing. It's just part of the look. You’re gonna be a total legend. 😬
All jokes aside, I'm stoked it turned out so well. Now go ahead and soak up that ocean breeze for the rest of us who can only dream of hitting the coast. 🙂
@Kimberly Ward/">@@Kimberly Ward Yeah, unfortunately you hit the nail on the head... if everyone who just messed up through their own stupidity would just get out of the way, maybe we’d finally see some progress for the people who actually take their treatment seriously!
Thomas Rodriguez14 said:Hey everyone—ended up here after searching through some scar threads. I’ve got a few questions about scarring, but let's keep it to the serious stuff, okay? I have this surgical scar from when I had to get some tattoo removal done because things went sideways—it's about 3cm wide and happened just over a month ago. So, the big question: once a year and three months have passed, can I actually hit the beach or use a tanning bed without issues? I basically spent my entire last summer hiding from the sun because of this thing—didn't even go on vacation! How long are you actually supposed to stay out of the sun or away from tanning beds after surgery? Here is what the scar looks like after a year http://img27.imageshack.us/i/122710162719.jpg/ Thanks in advance for any help
I think you're good to go. It's been a long time and the scar should be fully healed by now. Still, the smartest move would be to give your doctor a quick call to confirm (you could even ask a pharmacist), or honestly, even check with a tattoo artist since they deal with skin healing all the time...
Just a heads up, any info you pick up on a forum isn't always rock solid, since you never really know how much weight to put behind someone's advice. 🙂
Kimberly Ward said:Okay, I’m lost. Can you walk me through this? Like, comparing an F-22 situation to something worse? If this is where the issue lies, can we just take it to DMs?
The thing is, no matter how "small" a problem seems at first, if you don't deal with it right away, it’s almost guaranteed to snowball. Honestly, just feeling down can spiral into full-blown depression if you let it take over, and one mental health struggle can easily be swapped out for something way heavier if you aren't tracking it and trying to fix things...
Anxiety—like, general clinical anxiety—is so widespread these days that pretty much everyone deals with it in some way. And if you're already dealing with any kind of disorder, you're basically sitting ducks for picking up more stress on top of it.
Look, if you aren't going to look out for your own health, nobody else is going to do it for you. If you're coming here asking if it's okay to keep drinking or smoking, I’m pretty sure you’d only actually want our opinion if we told you "Yeah, go for it."
If you want to drink, fine. If you want to smoke, whatever. Just be ready for the fallout when it hits.
You can do whatever you want. But once you screw up by swapping an F-22 for an F-41 or some other disaster, you’re gonna be sitting there wondering where the hell your brain went.
Melissa Martinez5 said:the dates here are pretty sketchy—disappearance was August 5, 2009, but this thread didn't pop up until July 2, 2010. so, after an entire year passes, this guy suddenly remembers he needs to go looking for his brother? weird.
Look, this forum isn't exactly everyone's first stop (or even their fifteenth). 🤷

Maybe you should hit up a doctor and get checked out? I know a girl who had almost identical symptoms and ended up being diagnosed with benign tumors. Not trying to freak you out or anything, just saying—better to be prepared for whatever they find.
