And honestly, what's the upside? You get those tribal rhythms, incredible soundscapes, killer live dub, some wicked vocals (haha), and that dark atmosphere... though I guess even I don't experience them quite the same way I did with the first Weezer album. 🙂

Aha. Well, if you haven't yet, you should definitely check out the album Leaf by Public Image Ltd.
It's such a classic piece of tribal post-punk, and I'm pretty sure it served as the main inspiration for their follow-up album.😍

He was honestly a bit of a pushover for them. I was reading through some reviews of certain bootlegs (Prindle), and it mentions he just couldn't keep up with that hellish tempo. Apparently, halfway through the show, he started dropping down to eighth notes just to survive.🤣
