The Apartment in Movies ·
It’s been forever since I saw this movie—back when it first dropped—but man, I was hooked from the jump. That phone booth scene, those red shoes with the black tights... unforgettable.
I still remember how gorgeous that apartment was, too. And Roman Bohringer was absolutely incredible. Such a wild plot and an ending that just sticks with you.

One of the best American films out there.

If you're into American cinema, give this one a shot:

Harry, an old friend who wants the best for you 👍

HERO
DOGVILLE
RECONSTRUCTION

Still hunting for those last two. Watching Mystic River tonight—maybe that takes the fourth spot.

Honestly, Human Stain was my biggest letdown this year.

Looks like he wasn't kidding. What a letdown. He really could've found some better inspiration than that.
Ryan Adams in Music ·
I think Ryan Adams' Gold is a masterpiece (definitely peaks with Just Smiled). Demolition was kind of a letdown though, and honestly, he's been coasting at that same mediocre pace ever since (sadly). It feels a bit too much like that U2-inspired rock n roll vibe from So Alive. yuuuuuuuck.

but it's sweet.

Honestly, the movie was a total slog and pretty poorly made. Just read the book instead.

I think you're just lacking some zinc.
Casey Palmer5 said:I get those extra heartbeats sometimes, but my heart is actually fine. It’s just that weird sensation where it feels like it skips or double-taps two or three times in a row.

Totally normal, honestly. It's super annoying, but everyone deals with it eventually. I actually went to see my doctor about it once; got an EKG done, and once they cleared me, they just explained what it was and why it happens. Apparently, it's nothing to worry about.

walking like I've got a broomstick shoved up my ass

omg, you're insane. I'm gonna kill you! My abs are killing me—especially when I laugh. It's not even because you're funny, I'm actually just screaming in pain!!!!!

😁

Pinocchio, lol. You're nuts.
Muscle Cramp Help! in Health ·
Seriously, I totally overdid it. After being away from the gym for six months, I finally got back into a routine with yoga and body toning, but now my muscles are absolutely killing me—especially my abs. I have no idea what to do. Does anyone have any advice??? I can barely move because it hurts soooooooo much.

Absolute masterpiece!!!!!!!!
Good Bye, Lenin! in Movies ·
Now that's how you show some motherly love! Those Spreewald pickles are a total vibe.

The film is warm, beautiful, and actually has a sense of humor. I’ve always been obsessed with those East vs. West Berlin era stories.

Seriously, if you can catch this one, go see it.

p.s. That Coca-Cola ad bit? Genius.
