I already made plans—and not through this forum. It's wild; I mention in two different threads that I’m driving solo to Vienna for the show, and suddenly this one user hits me up—someone who barely ever posts about music and probably wouldn't even go to the concert if it weren't for the ride. Apparently, there are plenty of people looking for a lift. I must have some seriously intimidating online personality.
Those bands would be total disasters—just a bunch of big-shot egos clashing constantly. Since Billie Holiday plus some random piano player doesn't really make a band, I guess I need a better plan. Still figuring out the rest, but for vocals: Tom Fogerty (at least that’s how I’m feeling lately). Now, someone else needs to fill in the instruments.
Vocals - Billie Holiday. Piano - anyone, honestly—even my sister could play it with just a couple years of music school under her belt. That’s about it. Shit, I started writing this post just to be snarky, but now I’m actually getting goosebumps thinking about how she sings. It's otherworldly.
The issue is that everyone feels ashamed for listening to country music—not for what they watch, I don't know, Buffy. To me, it’s all equally shallow and pointless, but country singers get stigmatized for all sorts of historical reasons. Like I said before, I can tolerate just about any kind of person—except one type: the righteous. Screw the righteous.

I actually think this is kind of sweet. This could totally happen to me in maybe five years—though definitely not with my parents 😂 )
sorry redcrane28... I'm probably just taking the train—planning to crash at a buddy's place for a few days anyway—so you're probably better off grabbing someone who's heading back with you... maybe Adam Mendoza8 🙂
I don't see what has to do with whether someone's coming back with me or not? And you don't need to apologize to me—if I could make it to France on my own, I can handle getting to Minneapolis—it's not like I need a GPS escort or anything, I was just offering some extra seats in the car. Anyway, the main thing is we all get to the show and have a blast. 👋
Alright, it's official: I just grabbed my ticket. I've got extra seats in the car—hit me up if you want a ride (I'm heading out from Washington, D.C.) Anyone already living in Chicago gets first dibs on the rideshare since I've never actually been there.
Adventurers and alcoholics are strictly excluded 😁 😁 😁
Alright, if I manage to snag a ticket somewhere, I'll probably just drive myself. If anyone knows their way around Chicago and wouldn't mind giving me some pointers—like where to hang out or grab a drink—I'm happy to split the gas money or whatever.

Maybe you find it funny, but honestly, not me—I actually head down to the local record store for everything the critics hype up, and 99% of the time I love it enough to grab the CD right then and there.
I was seriously shocked when I got home yesterday and realized how early it actually was—but honestly, it wasn't a bad surprise at all (at least I didn't walk away from work feeling totally beaten down). The concert didn't feel short to me one bit; they sounded incredible and I definitely wasn't checking my watch. I guess it’s true what they say—it’s about quality over quantity 😉
Real masculine sexiness—someone who hits my biggest erogenous zone, which is my brain: Zoran Predin That "I just turned my brain off" kind of sexy: Alen Marin p.s. Why is the title even in English...? Ugh, rhetorical question—don't even bother answering me.
Man, I’m such a crybaby lately... seriously, some random sci-fi story on Reddit had me sobbing today. It’s getting bad—I find myself tearing up reading The New York Times, or even just a third-grade reader like Maštanko. At this rate, I’ll be posting tearful ads on Craigslist soon. No joke. I cried through Return of the King, I cried during the search for Nemo—just everything... but music? Never really, except for that one time, so it doesn't even count. When I'm actually in a dark place, I don't listen to music. I don't know if anyone here has ever dealt with real depression, but when you're there, it’s too much effort to even put a CD in the player—and honestly, it wouldn't matter what was playing anyway.
