Dealing with pollen and dust allergies... in Health ·
Please take the discussions about door mats, bioenergy, and that kind of stuff over to some other forum, like the alternative medicine section. Take a second to actually read the rules pinned at the top of this Health subforum.
Joint pain issues in Health ·
That's great news for your mom. How long was she taking this, and did she ever take any breaks?
Blood in semen: what should I do? in Health ·
Give me a break. 😁

I don't think this has anything to do with delaying things. If it did, half the country would be walking around with these same issues. You probably have some kind of inflammation or something similar going on. Like they already told you, just go see a doctor. They'll likely take a sample to check for a bacterial infection and then refer you to a urologist.
Strange sensations in my pelvic area in Women's Health ·
Is it any less intense for you? How would you even describe the sensation... like an electric current or some kind of muscle twitching?
Help, please! in Health ·
Nathan Morgan3, one of your threads was moved and another got nuked. I’m locking this one once you finally wrap up your replies, because there is zero reason to drag the same point out over five pages. Stick to the thread Donna Johnson16 linked for you. If you’ve got other issues beyond what you already laid out, we can talk about making a separate thread for them, but the constant jumping around and starting new topics needs to stop.
I accidentally ate a fly in Health ·
I think the OP got his answer, which was basically that eating a single fly isn't going to kill him. Since this thread is fast becoming a total troll fest and you guys are clearly just piling on now, I'm calling it.

Lock.
It’s not some crazy conspiracy theory; they're probably just talking about homemade mayo because you're dealing with raw eggs, which brings up that whole Salmonella risk. If you buy the store-bought stuff, you don't have to sweat it. 🙂
I’ve been following your posts regarding health for a while now. You really love dancing right on the edge of the alternativa scene, especially when you bring up topics like childhood vaccinations or cancer—basically wherever people are panicking the most.

Look, just move over to the alternative forums and write whatever your heart desires there. I actually went and tried that blood analysis you keep talking about; sure, it’s great, but you pay good money only for doctors to completely dismiss the results. So, let’s stick to the alternative circles for this kind of stuff.
Stiff joints in Health ·
Just go see your primary care doctor and get a referral to a rheumatologist. Let them be the ones to dig into what’s actually going on.
Thermometers in Health ·
Donna Fisher said:We’re working on a concept for a thermometer bracelet designed for all ages. It’ll be made from rubber combined with a specialized heat-reactive material. There’s a small display on the top to show the user's temperature. While it's specifically aimed at kids, anyone can wear one. We're looking for feedback to help us refine the product for the market.

There’s already stuff like this out there, and honestly, people aren't exactly happy with how accurate those sensors actually are. 🤷
Moderating LGBTQ+ content in politics in Feedback & Suggestions ·
She isn't a moderator on that PDF, and there’s an unwritten rule here that we don't moderate someone else's files. So how on earth did she think she could hand out sanctions for it? 🤷
Angela Wright said:Just thinking about MMS gives me an instant headache. It’s not even just about whether it’s illegal—it’s practically criminal how dangerous that poison is.

You’ve got your wires crossed here. She mentioned MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) earlier, and that is absolutely nothing like MMS (Miracle Mineral Supplement).

MSM is actually used for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and similar issues. You’ll find this ingredient in plenty of natural joint support supplements. Check these out: http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supple...ONYLMETHANE%29, http://www.msmguide.com/. For instance, this is what I used to take for my joints, and it had that specific stuff in it: http://www.vitamini-hr.com/calivita_...nt_protex.html

We need to keep these two things separate. One is literal poison, while the other is a standard ingredient found in many over-the-counter supplements you can grab at a CVS or Walgreens—stuff doctors frequently recommend to help slow down disease progression.

edit: To jump back into this debate, I didn't take Scott Harris14 to mean anyone should ditch their prescribed meds for supplements. Sure, supplements can be incredibly helpful, but you have to know what to take, how much, and from whom. Like anything else, moderation is key. My take? Pick two or three products, stick with them for a while, maybe rotate them occasionally, rather than just swallowing everything in sight. Especially with cases like that guy—you can't generalize. Every body is different. You have to look at medical history, the patient's overall condition, the specific type of cancer, all that stuff. (And let's face it, we don't even fully understand why certain diseases start, so my cause for rheumatoid arthritis might be totally different from my neighbor's, and we could react to the same thing in completely opposite ways).
My advice is to find a doctor who isn't biased against alternative options—someone who can actually tell you, "This is fine, but skip that because it'll clash with your treatment." There are doctors out there who won't roll their eyes the second you mention something natural; you just have to find them. If you try to play doctor on your own, you're more likely to do damage, especially if you're taking things long-term.
Dealing with bad cramps? in Women's Health ·
Nalgene gives me stomach issues. 😢 Honestly, Buscopan has been my lifesaver lately. I end up taking about half the dose when I mix it with my other pain meds. If I can catch the pain early enough, I can usually make it through the whole day without feeling like I'm constantly popping pills—you just have to stay ahead of it.
silvercanyon7 you're drifting off-topic, and if you keep this up, your posts are going to start disappearing. Also, just a heads-up: if you keep posting people's private info like full names, you're going to get flagged. That's strictly against the rules here. This thread isn't about non-profit organizations, so take the bickering, the call-outs, and the accusations somewhere else. This forum—especially a sensitive topic like this one—isn't a playground for that kind of drama.

And look, do me a favor and stop nitpicking how moderators handle specific threads. It wouldn't hurt to actually glance at the rules PDF so you aren't acting surprised when a post gets nuked or someone gets a warning.

To everyone else: please. If you want to talk about starting non-profits, how they operate, or anything related to that, take it to private messages or move over to the business section. This is off-topic.
Sleep disorders in Health ·
Look, if you’re sleeping all day and still feeling completely wiped out, something isn't right. Go get a full blood panel done and check your thyroid levels. If those results come back normal, then tell your doctor to start digging deeper. It could be a side effect from your medication, or it might be something else entirely—you really need to rule things out. If the meds are the culprit, your psychiatrist can always switch you over to something else that won't leave you feeling like a zombie.
Oracle food standards in Health ·
What is this even supposed to be? This isn't how you start a thread. You should at least give a quick summary in the first post instead of making us sit through some half-hour video just to figure out what the point is.

Either expand on the story and actually explain the situation, or I’m locking this down. A thread can't stay up like this.

I had a kidney infection when I was quite young—though, to be perfectly honest, my memory of the actual pain is rather hazy... I don't recall it being particularly excruciating, even if I hear people describe it as an absolutely agonizing ordeal...🤷
I actually started my course of antibiotics yesterday—and honestly, I can already feel things shifting today. It’s subtle, but noticeable... for instance, I'm not running to the restroom nearly as often, and that sharp discomfort during urination is almost entirely gone...🤷 On the other hand, I can't shake this lingering discomfort in my kidney area—basically my lower back... and after reading through your post, I’m starting to wonder if I might actually be dealing with some sort of kidney infection... ☕
I won't get my results until Tuesday—which is driving me a little stir-crazy, if I'm being honest—so perhaps this entire ordeal is rooted more in my own head than anything else... I’m not particularly worried about the fever, though I am well aware that certain bacteria can be incredibly stubborn and difficult to shake once they take hold. As long as it isn't something more serious... that's really all that matters.😢
The eternal hypocrite...

James Anderson9 Please let me know once you have the results—we’re keeping our fingers crossed for you...😉

I don't know, I didn't have any symptoms at all. No frequent trips to the bathroom, no pain, nothing. My urine was just darker than usual; if it hadn't been for that, I probably wouldn't have realized I had an infection until much later.

Drink a ton of fluids to flush everything out of your kidneys and bladder. If you're taking cranberry supplements, don't mix them with lemon or anything similar because of the Vitamin C, and definitely don't mix them with uva ursi. Personally, I usually go with cranberry, but I'll add lemon to tea. Uva ursi tastes like garbage to me.
This sounds exactly like a panic attack. They don't actually come from fear—it’s more about when someone is just completely overwhelmed. 🤷
I had blood and protein showing up in my urine—my lab results were a total disaster, three plus signs for protein and two for blood. The weird part? I didn't feel a single thing. If I hadn't noticed my urine looked darker than usual, I wouldn't have even known something was wrong. Turns out it was just a kidney infection. I went through two rounds of antibiotics and that was that.

So, here’s the thread on Femmenessence. A few girls were mentioning they tried it and actually saw results, so go check out their experiences if you want. 🙂 Link to the thread
