Eric Newman75 said:Research actually suggests that fewer than ten percent of people are perpetually dissatisfied. No matter what you achieve, it will never meet their standards. But in my estimation, they represent a very small minority.
Negligible little, which means...
Kate Thompson67 said:Permaculture. It just happens to be an unpopular method for those who are actually looking to attract crowds, bring over neighbors and family, or entertain their colleagues and such. 😁 So much for being a social butterfly.
One should evaluate behavior rather than character itself. If a person is perfectly reasonable for 330 days of the year—not causing any waves, mind you—and then decides to be difficult for 35 days, perhaps they simply shouldn't show up during those specific 35 days? 😬 For the rest of the year, the door remains open. 👋 Or is that the old adage... once a thief, always a thief? 🤷
Eric Newman75 said:The woman is outlining the fundamentals of economics here: a satisfied customer is a loyal customer. She’s discussing how loyalty programs might be applied to media sectors, and she touches upon the capital investments required to run a successful enterprise—those specific expenditures that ultimately transform into pure profit.
But what about that particular breed of customer who does nothing but nag and nitpick over every infinitesimal detail? 🤔 If you were running a retail chain, would you actually want such a person to become a loyal patron, and just how much would you be willing to invest to secure the "loyalty" of someone like that?
Well, considering how many people speak English globally, online forums aren't exactly bound by geography, if you catch my drift. It is far more productive to search based on specific interests rather than location. 🤷
Take a look at this one; it covers quite a bit of ground, though the focus remains primarily on music. Personally, I have mostly stumbled upon threads dedicated to internet anthologies 🙏. Honestly, regardless of where you find them or where you register, just try to avoid being pretentious. Don't feel the need to constantly emphasize that you're from some small nation near Italy, and please, stop apologizing for your English—which, in all honesty, is perfectly adequate for a forum like this once you realize it. Nobody cares about those excuses; they actually find it quite irritating. 😁
Perhaps he was allergic to the turtle soup, and since he had no desire to spend his final moments gasping for air in agony, he chose to end things quickly—though, one has to wonder if that was actually the plan all along. If he ordered turtle soup, did he perhaps realize mid-bite that his body wouldn't tolerate it? One can almost see him noticing the symptoms and deciding there was no way out 🤷 . Alternatively, could the soup have simply been so transcendentally delicious that life lost its luster immediately afterward? Still, if that were the case, wouldn't a man of such refined taste have finished the entire bowl—and perhaps ordered seconds—before opting for such a tragic exit? 🤔
True, you can just stash your photos on memory cards and simply pick up a new one once you've maxed out the capacity of the current one 🤔 To my mind, that seems like the most reliable method, plus it takes up next to no space, all while keeping your files readily accessible... though I suppose I can't say for certain how the technicalities actually shake out regarding how dependable and long-lasting flash memory truly is 🤷
Perhaps the most prudent course of action would be to select a handful of photographs for professional printing. As for the remaining digital files, you might as well keep them on your hard drive and simply hope they remain intact for as long as possible... though, let’s be honest, even if a drive eventually fails, you will still possess those few "most precious" physical copies you had made . Besides, this could serve as a welcome opportunity to declutter your collection of memories. Realistically, what purpose does having 5,000 snapshots sitting on a hard drive actually serve? You aren't going to sit there and review every single one; you'll likely find a few meaningful shots and leave the rest as mere filler ... So, I suggest you prune the collection without a hint of guilt 😁
Betty Jones52 said:You spend all your time overanalyzing the methodology, while I simply find myself floundering because, in all honesty, we haven't even mastered the basic task of separating an egg white from its yolk. 🙈 I can already see myself sitting there with a broken leg because of this soap scum. Honestly, what on earth are we supposed to do about this? 😂 Does anyone have any additional suggestions for a house party? I find myself contemplating the logistics of hosting, and frankly, the possibilities are endless yet somehow always feel insufficient. One must consider the atmosphere, the menu, and the guest list—all moving parts in a rather delicate machine. Does one opt for a sophisticated cocktail evening, or is that perhaps too much effort for a Tuesday? I'm open to ideas, provided they aren't entirely cliché. 🙂
Imagine this: you completely fill a room with balloons—preferably helium-filled—but I mean truly *fill* it. You go from floor to ceiling, or perhaps leave a modest fifteen or twenty inches of clearance at the bottom just so you can actually maneuver. Then, you simply wriggle your way through the sea of latex, occasionally inhaling a bit of helium directly from a balloon, squeaking like a cartoon character, and laughing until you physically cannot breathe. Does that sound like a reasonable way to spend an afternoon? Or am I merely losing my grip on reality? 🥳
Betty Jones52 said:you would need an absurd amount of egg whites just to fill a room; it sounds like an expensive endeavor🤷 well, we might as well just buy a massive supply of those foaming soap bubbles—for us simpletons, even that would feel like a major event😍
True, but perhaps one could take a genuine interest in the matter and attempt something worthy of the Guinness World Records? If they find it sufficiently impressive, maybe some funding might materialize... though I am not entirely certain how those arrangements actually work...
The real question remains: what becomes of the yolks? 🤔
urbannomad30 said:It is truly remarkable that you cannot read a single concert review without stumbling over a mountain of "Oh, I used to struggle to find vinyl and it brought me such joy, but now everything is just a digital download so music isn't what it used to be, therefore it's all garbage" 😢 nonsense. 🤮 Generally speaking, one can hardly find a single sentence actually addressing the performance or the music itself. 🤷
Haha, I am seeing the exact same thing... out of a three-page article, maybe two paragraphs even touch upon the actual show. 🤦🤣 And then there is this bit: Mike (...) represents a symbiosis of classic hip-hop and British openness. 🤦 $33 I would love to meet the person who can actually point out any classic hip-hop influences in his music. 🙏 Honestly, it is quite laughable. 🤣

😠 There was absolutely no Wifij available, so I found myself unable to follow the live stream of a festival that—quite paradoxically—wasn't even happening while I was actually attending it. 😠
Down a liter of bourbon, and you might just wake up bruised and bloody—assuming you wake up at all—but hey, at least you’ll have had a hell of a time 👋
I suppose I could provide the links, provided my full name is included in the acknowledgments—and I’d prefer to be listed even before the mentor... Actually, if we are being truly honest, I might consider it for a fee as well. In fact, wouldn't that be even better?
Judging by the specific interests you've stirred up with this thread, I believe it has become abundantly clear which camp you belong to, you little nerd ☕
😬
However, your observation is entirely accurate... particularly when a handful of the "popular" crowd descends upon the same topic and begins churning out pages of their own private jargon and mutual ego-stroking in every single post... as if to say, "Look at us, we're just so incredibly witty and fun" 🙂🤣
But then again, I find the whole spectacle rather amusing myself, so let them have their moment 😁
Why on earth would anyone argue that mathematics holds more weight than the development of advanced motor skills? 🤷 Look, if you were born with sausages instead of fingers, by all means, go ahead and focus on math; nobody is going to judge you for it... in fact... but if you have been blessed with functional, nimble fingers, then it becomes your responsibility to push the capabilities of every single one of them to their absolute limit...
I have spent some time observing those kids who specialize in YouTube, and I am telling you, those people are the FUTURE.
