Bubimir's got nothing left to work with here. It's tough to top the first one, especially since Burton's been hitting some misses lately—I mean, *Dark Shadows* wasn't even close to being as good as *Planet of the Apes*, which says a lot...
Hopefully they aren't just recycling that *Beetlejuice goes to Hawaii* script that was supposed to happen back in the mid-90s...

Turns out this guy (Ali Mosaffa) is actually bald... but hey, who cares, right? 😁
I thought it was him at first too, but realized pretty quick it wasn't. They look way different... though it feels like almost every guy in America rocks a beard like that nowadays. Probably would've been the guy playing the lead in A Separation if the story took place in America instead. Guess he's his favorite actor or something...
Just some random thoughts... this actress is stunning, but Marion is great too, she's got a killer figure!
Does anyone else think the lead actor playing Ahmad looks a bit like Joe Pantoliano?
As for the movie itself, Farhadi hits the mark again, though it feels a little lighter than About Elly or A Separation. Those two are absolute masterpieces in my book—honestly more intense than most Hollywood thrillers... maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, haha
The cast is incredible, the script is solid, and the directing is top-tier. It just lacks that edge of tension from his earlier stuff; I missed those explosive scenes where everyone is shouting and fighting... maybe because the setting moved to France this time, so things feel a bit more relaxed and free Definitely one of the best films of 2013
The chemistry between Noomi Rapace and Colin Farrell is totally there, plus the whole vibe of the movie is spot on but the plot feels super cliché, and that climax? Feels like it belongs in a completely different flick
Such a snooze Will Smith needs to stop pushing his untalented son, the kid is just awful Will Smith doesn't change his expression once the whole movie, zero personality... such a charismatic and cool actor playing some serious bore, the casting is worse than Samuel L. Jackson as a wise Jedi It's bad, but not total trash... there's just no ambition here, kind of like a predictable video game
It’s a solid flick. Jason really gives it his all, and like you said, there's way more drama here than in his usual stuff, though the action scenes are still totally badass.
For me, the best part was definitely that sexual tension between him and the honorable lady.
The first one’s definitely my favorite, the second one is probably the weakest of the bunch, and the third one is just cool because the lead is Mexican
Man, what good titles could there be? Just look at his recent stuff—this is gonna be trash. Especially since it shares a name with that awesome Mann flick... but it’s not even a 😁remake of that one, it's actually about a different
People are so weird, hating on a movie just because it has a line like "I'm gonna stab you in the brain" It’s not even just hating, they’re basically giving it an infinite negative rating 🤣
Like acting like it’s some huge deal to trash 🤷Command

I sat through the first four minutes—the only part I actually watched straight through—and realized immediately there was nothing there. Just a hollow shell. No soul. Just a massive train wreck waiting to happen, which played out frame by frame.
I don't have much patience for naivety myself. It bugs me (maybe that's why I stay away from sci-fi; I prefer stuff rooted in real life), but what really gets to me is a stupid, empty movie that didn't even try to be good. It felt like they built it to be a total void, stuffed with all this "patriotic heroism" that doesn't mean a thing and does zero to make the story work. And those ridiculous, illogical scenes where the Americans just steamroll everything? That takes the stupidity to a whole new level. Only the absolute simplest people could enjoy that. Yet, somehow, it’s sitting at a 6.6 on IMDb. Yeah, sure, let's trust those critics.
Man, you're still harping on this same topic every single day? Honestly, that movie was total garbage. lol
If I think a movie is total garbage, I'm not even wasting my breath talking about it.
