I’ve been chipping away at my silent film watchlist lately, pulling from various recommendations in this thread and digging through some curated Google lists... I was wondering if anyone could point me toward some essential titles I might have missed. I know the French school has its own specific obsessions, and as far as German cinema goes, I’ve only really managed to scratch the surface with a few Fritz Lang films. Then there's the Soviet masters, the Scandinavians, and so on...

You didn't set that up quite right. For the image to actually show up, you need to put the full direct URL inside the IMG code. The link has to end with an extension like .jpg or .png, otherwise, it just won't work...

Right now, this is easily my favorite war song—one of those tracks that’s somehow turned into a massive meme over the last few years and basically achieved cult status... It’s reached the point where even folks on the other side of the aisle find themselves listening to it. I was completely obsessed with the melody back in 2022 and again the year after...

A couple of days ago, I filed a formal complaint regarding the absolutely obnoxious behavior of three specific users. Instead of actually addressing the issue, those same three individuals—along with a few others—just swarmed the thread and turned it into a total mess. Now, I see the whole thing has been locked, yet there hasn’t been a single word of explanation from the moderation team... I even went as far as flagging several posts within that thread for spamming, but apparently, all they did was shut the conversation down.

Can someone in a position of authority please clarify if any actual action will be taken regarding my report? I’m assuming that rustydrifter10 isn't the only one holding the keys here, and that other administrators or super-mods have the power to step in and deal with this...

I'll be waiting for a response.

Honestly, I think you’d be better off starting a separate thread just to ask that. This specific discussion is meant for reporting the absolute garbage mentioned in the initial post, so let's leave the mods to deal with that mess instead...

Honestly, I don't really care about the semantics of it. If you truly believe someone is violating the rules, then go ahead and start a thread in this subforum. Personally, I’ve already filed a complaint regarding a specific issue, so let’s just wait and see what the moderators have to say about it... Best regards.

There really ought to be some lines you don't cross. Like I mentioned over in that other thread, there's a massive difference between poking fun at people in the Alternative scene when they're slightly off base, and actually humiliating someone who is dealing with legitimate medical issues—mocking them specifically for those struggles. That kind of behavior is just revolting to me...

Over the last four or five days, the same small group of people has been taking advantage of the fact that the moderators are away from the Alternative Medicine subforum to systematically harass Kimberly Ward. If this were just some petty Insult, I probably wouldn't say anything at all, but we are talking about severe humiliation here—bullying, and making direct and indirect claims that this member belongs in a psychiatric ward. What makes it even more repulsive is that she has mentioned several times her struggle with infertility, and now these few individuals are taking indirect jabs at her because of it, which is truly disgusting...
Here are a few examples of this degradation. There is so much spam flying around that it’s difficult for me to track down every single instance, but perhaps one of the moderators could take a look through the last five or six pages of the Raw food, Nutrition, and Vaccination threads in this same subforum; everything should be there if it hasn't already been scrubbed...

It’s simply because there aren't enough moderators on staff. There just isn't anyone to handle it...

I don't even have an account on USA, yet I've been using them regularly for ten years without running into a single issue. Even on sites like Imgur, you don't actually need to register... you only bother doing that if you're looking to organize specific albums or keep some kind of log of everything you've uploaded.

I have a feeling the playback issues might be tied to how they were transferred onto the flash drive in the first place. You might want to try copying them over one by one to see if that makes a difference... Or, honestly, just merge all the tracks into a single file so you don't have to deal with this headache anymore.

Do some digging into the behind-the-scenes trivia too, because there are some pretty wild stories floating around about the production. Apparently, there's even a connection involving Charlie Sheen somewhere in the mix...

Disney and creativity—give me a break. It feels like they manage to put out something halfway decent maybe once every hundred films. Have you guys actually sat through their recent work? Out of every 100 of these flops, you might find one that doesn't completely miss the mark...
