Ivory Coast 😬 because of Raymond Hughes. Honestly, I don't really care much either way. I suppose I have a soft spot for Cameroon, though maybe more for their kits than any specific player... 😁

Snooker is always decent; I catch it on DSF regularly. 😁 The Noton box is total garbage, though it was almost worth it since they actually have programs that interest me. 😁
Heights, though I only really notice them when I'm on bridges or standing on high-rise balconies. When I'm cruising at a few thousand feet in an airplane, I just look out the window and see nothing. It feels perfectly normal, I suppose. Anything goes 🙄 😁

Carlo Ancelotti is useless, and frankly, so is Silvio Berlusconi. I suppose I am just waiting for the day he loses the election so he can finally return to AC Milan in his former glory. 😁
Vanja, this is essentially a question of who the best manager is right now. Valeriy Lobanovskyi was undoubtedly a brilliant tactician, but I guess one has to wonder how he would actually fare in today's modern environment. Let's start a new poll. 😁
You seem to have overlooked Carlo Ancelotti. He’s a hell of a coach, I suppose, especially since he recently secured the Champions League and the Super Bowl—that's five times more than anyone could say for Guus Hiddink or Arsène Wenger. 😁
Everything else is pretty much settled; I suspect Hiddink just got lucky coaching the host nation during the World Cup, otherwise, he probably wouldn't have even made it out of the group stage. Taking Australia to the World Cup is quite an achievement, I guess. 🙄
If you just look at the Australian group, everything becomes perfectly clear.
Alien vs. Predator is terrible, and sequels usually just go downhill from there, so I'll pass on that. I don't think Alien will ever top the second installment unless they somehow manage to pit Marines against Aliens in some massive, all-out war. 😁 As for Blade 4, I highly doubt they'll even make it; from what I gather, Blade 3 was meant to be the end of the trilogy, which is actually what it says right there on the DVD cover 😕 That leaves us with Predator, but honestly, without Schwarzenegger, it just isn't the same. 😢
I seem to recall back when I had my surgery—I was maybe ten years old—that the elders handed the doctor about $500. Since then, thank God, I haven't needed another operation, so I suppose I have no idea what the costs look like these days. 😁
You’re overlooking the most obvious point: it is entirely possible to enter the USA from Mexico through legal channels. In East Germany, there was absolutely no way out. I suppose a wall might actually be the most efficient solution; maybe they should just install watchtowers every 500 yards and start processing illegal entries more aggressively.
This is the barrier designed to stop illegal immigration, separating two nations. What happened at the Berlin Wall was a completely different story. In the USA, people from Mexico can enter legally if they have the right qualifications for jobs where there's a labor shortage. But back in East Germany, there was simply no way out. 😁

I suppose I am doing that. 👍
Sean Nguyen4 said:Something else is bothering my left eye; a while back, some dish soap splashed into it, and since then, my vision has been a bit blurry on that side. Now, whenever I put a lens in, it feels constantly foggy, and I find myself blinking far too often just to try and "normalize" things. It’s also incredibly irritating because light seems to scatter off the edge of the lens, so if I want to look left or right, I practically have to move my entire head instead of just my eyes.
I went through something similar, though nothing ever actually splashed into my eye. 😁 Maybe it's just a matter of the eyes adjusting to them...
Sean Nguyen4 said:Quick question for the contact lens crowd: How long did it take before they actually felt comfortable enough to wear all day? I’m using hard lenses, though I’ve only had them for two days, so I suppose I'm still adjusting.
I gave up on them entirely. When the nurse first put them in for me, it looked effortless, but at home, it took me nearly thirty minutes just to get them in—and even then, I couldn't stand them and just waited for the moment I could take them out. Maybe I'll give it another shot. 😁 Does anyone have any advice on how to get them in quickly and easily?
Are we absolutely certain they all die once they hit 21? I suspect it might actually be when they turn 40. Or perhaps I've simply misremembered the details 😁
